Safety Information
• Open flame and hot water. Supervise stove and children at all times when the product is
operating.
• Operate the Jetboil stove in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and NEVER
use a gas stove in an enclosed space.
• Always check shower temperature with your hand before exposing the full body.
• Don’t leave shower unattended when heating.
• In the rare event of pump blockage or other failure the water in the pot could boil,
releasing hot steam through the exit tube to the reservoir bucket or causing the lid to
detach (by design), which will release steam from the pot.
• If the pot starts to boil or the unit shows an error alert, turn the gas o immediately at
arm’s length while avoiding exposure to the area above the stove due to the potential
release of hot steam.
• WilderFresh contains lithium batteries. Always charge in a safe place away from
flammable materials.
• Never explose the WilderFresh control unit to temperatures exceeding 50° Celsius (122°
Fahrenheit)

Setting Up Your WilderFresh
See wilderfresh.com/downloads for more downloads.
1
Charge the unit using the supplied USB
Type-C cable and any quality 5V 2A USB
charger. The red ‘charging’ light turn blue
when the unit is fully charged. ‘PD’ type
fast chargers (supplied with Pro version) will
provide faster charge times.
Always charge in a safe place away from
flammable materials.
2
Place the strop around a tree at shoulder
height (~5 feet / 150cm) and attach the
shower nozzle, elastic support hook, and
control unit.
Tip: Choose an area sheltered from the
wind for a better experience (and fast-
er heat times). Wind shields can improve
heating rates, available from most out-
doors stores.
3
Connect your cooking stove to the gas
cylinder and attach the sealing lid to the
stove.
4
Fill the reservoir bucket with water and
place the bucket on a flat(ish) surface be-
side your chosen tree.
Tip: Fill the bucket right up for a longer
shower, or go with a little less for faster
showering.
Always follow manufacturer’s
instructions when using the stove
!

5Attach the elastic support to bucket han-
dles to prevent the bucket from tipping and
place the circulation pump assembly in the
bucket.
6Connect the silicone circulation hoses to
the connectors on the sealing lid (if these
aren’t attached already).
7Plug the cable into the control unit. This will
power up the unit.
8Using the ‘up’ and ‘down’ arrows on the
control panel, select your desired shower
temperature.
Switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius
Tip: Tap both the ‘up’ and ‘down’ arrows at
the same time to toggle between Fahren-
heit and Celcius.
5

9
!
Press the ‘SEL’ button to confirm your set
temperature and start the circulation
pump.
MAKE SURE WATER IS FLOWING THROUGH
THE STOVE BEFORE YOU START THE BURN-
ER! You should be able to see and hear
water flowing into the stove pot via the
sillicone inlet to the sealing lid.
10
Light the stove burner and turn up to full to
ensure faster heating time.
Tip: We recommend an ‘Isobutane’ fuel
mix (rather than just regular ‘Butane’) with
at least 25% Propane for faster heating. In
windier conditions a wind shield will also
reduce heat up time.
11
After a few minutes estimated heating time
is shown on the display screen (typically 10-
15 minutes). The estimate will become more
accurate as heating progresses.
12
!
The unit will beep when the temperature
is reached. Tap ‘SEL’ to acknowledge and
turn the burner o to stop further heating.
MAKE SURE TO TURN THE BURNER OFF!
6

13 Empty the water from the pot into the
bucket for a longer shower. Stir the water by
jiggling the pump assembly up and down
to even out the temperature.
14
Now it’s time to luxuriate! Start and stop
the flow to the shower nozzle anytime
using the shower button.
15
Celebrate being WilderFresh in whatever
way you prefer!
Remember to ensure your WilderFresh is
fully dry before long term storage, just like
any outdoor equipment.

WilderFresh Pro usage - fast series heating
Caution!
• When using two stoves in series do not set the heating temperature higher than 112
°
Farenheit (45
°
Celsius). This is because water in the pots will be hotter than the reservoir
bucket and may boil if the set temperature is too high, creating a steam hazard.
• Make sure water is circulating through both pots before starting burners. The first pot
will need to fill completely before water begins flowing into the second.
• Exercise caution with hot water in the pots when removing lids after heating has com-
pleted.
Along with a fast charger and extra bucket, The WilderFresh Pro version includes an extra
adaptor lid and silicone tube to connect two Jetboil Stoves in series for twice the rate of
water heating.
To use two stoves, connect the sealing lids as shown in the image below, with the extra tube
joining the inside lid connectors. The outside silicon tubes attach to the pump assembly in
the same way as the single stove configuration.
8
Tips
• Empty the water from the pots into the reservoir bucket once heating has completed for
a longer shower. This is especially helpful with two full water pots.
• For the series heating configuration we recommend setting the temperature 2 degrees
Fahrenheit (or 1 degree Celsius) lower than usual. This is because water from the pots will
be hotter than the bucket and will raise the temperature when added.

Tips for storing your WilderFresh between adventures
• If you’re storing your WilderFresh for longer periods we recommend a cool, dry place.
Remember to ensure your WilderFresh is fully dry before long term storage, just like any
outdoor equipment.
• When storing, we recommend discharging the battery to around 50-60% to improve
battery life. This can be done by redirecting the shower nozzle flow back into a bucket of
water and turning on the shower pump for 10 minutes or so.

10
Optimising heating times
Multiple factors impact burner heat output so how long you’ll need to wait for a shower
varies. As a rule of thumb warmer conditions are faster and using a full canister with an 80%
IsoButane / 20% Propane mix as well as a sheltered area (or wind shield) will give best re-
sults.
Our 15-minute nominal quoted heating time is measured in typical mild conditions:
• Water temp 20°C / 68°F, Shower temp 40°C / 104°F
• Ambient temp 20° C with burner sheltered from wind
• 15 Litres of water
• Full, high quality 230g fuel canister - 20% Propane, 80% IsoButane
Heating times are variable
When heating 15 litres / 4 gallons of water to 40° C / 104° F, testing has yielded heating
times ranging from 10 minutes in very warm conditions (> 30° C / 86° F) to 30 minutes in very
cold conditions (<5° C / 40° F). Colder water takes longer to heat of course, but ambient
temperature also impacts performance of canister stoves.
If you’re interested in the details on how temperature impacts gas burner performance this
article gives a thorough overview.
Factors impacting heat up times (highest impact to lowest)
• Temperature of water
23°C lake water will reach the desired temperature faster than a 5°C alpine stream.
• Wind strength
A mild breeze can halve the heating rate for an exposed burner. Find a sheltered spot or use
a wind shield.
• Ambient temperature
Vertical canister stoves have lower outputs at lower temperatures, and heat losses are
higher.
• Fuel mix
Propane / Isobutane mixes are better than regular Butane.
• Fullness of canister
Full canisters burn stronger due to higher gas pressure

Tips for faster heat times
• Ensure the burner is sheltered from wind or use a windshield if required.
• Choose a high quality fuel canister with a Propane/Isobutane fuel mix. Isobutane has a
higher vapor pressure and will provide faster heating than regular Butane, especially in
cool conditions. 20% Propane, 80% Isobutane is typical for good quality canisters.
• Fuel canisters that are closer to full will heat ~ 30% faster than canisters that are close to
empty. This is because pressure in the canister reduces as gas is used due to Propane,
with its higher vapor pressure, burning at a faster rate that Isobutane.
• For cooler conditions (ambient temperatures below 15° C (60° F) we recommend using
the Jetboil end cap as a water bath (see image below) to reduce the eects of evapo-
rative cooling on the gas canister, which can otherwise freeze on the outside. This cool-
ing will reduce gas vapor pressure and burner output.
• If you’ve got several people to shower in a hurry, buy a WilderFresh Pro Edition which en-
ables you to put two burners in series to halve heating times.

Troubleshooting
‘Heating Fault’ error The unit may display a ‘heating fault’ error together with rapid
beeping. This occurs because the control unit is not detecting the
expected rated of heating, potentially indicating a blocked pump
or circulation problem.
Turn o the burner and press ‘select’ to stop the audio alert.
We recommend turning o the burner at arm’s length, while avoid-
ing exposure to the area above the stove due to potential release
of hot steam if the stove has reached boing point.
Causes:
Faulty or blocked pump. With the burner still turned o, and ensur-
ing the water in the pot is a safe temperature, unplug and re-plug
the power cable to restart the unit. Press ‘Sel’ to start the circula-
tion pump and check for water flow through pot. Look for debris or
blockages around the pump inlet filters if flow is less than expect-
ed.
Reduced burner output. If external temperatures are very low or a
gas canister is close to empty burner eciency may be aected
and trigger a heating error. If you are confident water is circulat-
ing OK you can continue with this error message active, albeit at a
slower rate of heating. We recommend using premium Isobutane/
propane canisters, with at least 25% propane. Regular (non ‘iso’)
butane has lower vapour pressure and yields a slower rate of heat-
ing, which can trigger a heating error, particularly in colder condi-
tions.
Delayed burner ignition. If there is a delay of more than 40 sec-
onds in lighting the burner after starting the circulation pump the
unit may detect the delay as a heating fault. If this occurs simply
unplug and re-plug the cable to the control unit to reset the unit.
‘DANGER! WATER
OVER-HEATED’ error
This occurs if the water temperature exceeds the set temperature
by more than a few degrees. Turn o the burner and press select to
stop the audio alert.
The most likely cause is the burner not being turned o prompt-
ly when the unit reaches temperature, allowing water to continue
heating past the set point.
After turning o the burner, we recommend either waiting for water
to cool, or adding some cold water. As always remember to test
the shower temperature with your hand before exposing your full
body. 12

Troubleshooting
Low battery error When the WilderFresh powers up, or after finishing a shower you
may see the remaining battery percentage displayed in red along
with the alert: ‘Can’t start pump. Please recharge’.
If the battery is below 20% a shower cycle can’t be started. This is a
safety feature as the unit must have enough capacity to circulate
water during heating and prevent the pot from boiling.
If you’ve just completed a shower we recommend unuplugging and
letting the unit ‘rest’ for 10 minutes or so as it may recover some
charge.
If you are likely to need more than 6 showers on a trip we recom-
mend a portable USB powerbank of at least 10,000 mAH to re-
charge in the field.
Bucket leak It’s normal for small beads of water to form on the surface of the
bucket due to the ultra-light technology used - these do not have
a significant impact on performance.
The WilderFresh buckets are made from silicone coated Nylon and
can be repaired using silicone sealants available from most out-
doors stores. Note that regular nylon patch kits will not work as a
silicone based adhesive is required for sil-Nylon.
Lost, damaged or
faulty parts We do stock replacement parts. Please reach out to contact@wil-
derfresh.com and describe your issue as clearly as possible, includ-
ing pictures.

across 2 backpacks. Easily packable; largest component is the
control unit at 80 x 110 x 45mm (3.15 x 4.3 x 1.78 inches)
Shower flow rate ~5.5 Litres (1.5 Gallons) per minute (similar to a domestic shower)
Water reservoir
bucket capacity ~16.5 Litres (4.4 Gallons) when full
Shower duration 2:30 to 3:00 minutes depending on water level in reservoir bucket
Water temperature User selectable range of 20°- 50° Celsius (68°- 122° Fahrenheit)
Heat up time
Around 15 minutes in mild conditions depending on initial water
temperture, shower temperature, and ambient temperature (for
‘Pro Edition’ this time can be halved by using two Jetboil MiniMo™
stoves in series). We recommend an ‘Isobutane’ fuel mix with at
least 20% Propane as these yield faster heat times. In windy condi-
tions a sheltered spot or a wind shield is recommended.
Battery
Rechargeable lithium high capacity 3400 mAH 11.1 volt internal
battery pack (replaceable). A full charge will provide 6-8 showers,
depending on conditions. Can be charged from a standard 5V
2A USB ‘phone charger’ outlet or power bank using the supplied
USB-C cable (approx 6 hours for a full charge). A ‘PD’ type fast
charger (supplied with Pro version) will reduce charge times to un-
der 3 hours.
Gas usage
A standard 230g (8 Oz.) fuel canister will provide 2-4 showers de-
pending on conditions, with margin for cooking. This means for a
couple over-nighting, a single canister will be sucient for cooking
and showering. For longer trips we recommend taller 450g (16 Oz.)
canisters as these provide extra fuel (4-8 showers) without adding
much size or weight.
Water-tubing Flexible Silicone tubing (food grade)
