Plug into a 120V AC electrical power outlet only.
Only use water with the coffee maker. Do not use other liquids or food products. Do not mix or add
anything to the water placed in this appliance, except as instructed in the User Maintenance Instructions
for cleaning.
DO NOT attempt to move an appliance containing hot liquids. Allow appliance to cool completely
before moving.
Keep appliance at least 4 inches away from walls or other objects during operation. Do not place any
objects on top of appliance while it is operating. Place on a surface that is resistant to heat.
If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to

The flow valve is located on the bottom of the removable filter holder and is activated when the carafe is
removed. This design makes it possible for you to remove the carafe and pour a cup of coffee before the
entire carafe is brewed.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized power outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the power outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

INTRODUCTION
This single-serve coffee maker uses a pressurized system to brew a perfect single hot beverage.
The adjustable drip tray accommodates most sizes of cups, mugs and tumblers.
Use the ground coffee adapter (included) to create special blends of your favorite coffee. Personalize your
blends by adding a dash of cinnamon, orange peel, cardamom or vanilla bean.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
CAUTION: To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance or allow the power cord to
come into contact with water or other liquids.
Remove all packing material and labels. Place the unit on a flat, clean surface. Make sure to remove both
adapters from the inner packaging.
Before use, thoroughly clean both adapters with warm, soapy water.
To clean the inside of the unit, brew a full tank of water.
Grasp the removable water tank using the designated grips. Lift the water tank up and remove it from
the base of the unit. (See Figure 1)
Remove the lid and fill the water tank to the MAX indicator line with cold water.
NOTE: Never fill the water tank past the MAX indicator line and ensure water level is above the MIN
indicator line.
Place lid and water tank firmly back in
place to secure.
Select the desired height for the drip
tray, depending on the height of your
vessel.
Place the empty cup, mug or tumbler in
position on the drip tray cover
NOTE: Do not add any adapter for this
initial cleaning.
To select the brew size (6, 10 or 15 oz.),
press the Size button until the indicator
light illuminates the desired size. Then
press Ground Coffee or Capsule.
The red PREHEAT indicator light will begin to flash as the water heats.
When water has reached the optimum temperature, the PREHEAT light will go out and the blue BREW
light will illuminate. Water will begin to stream through the nozzle. At the end of the cycle, the coffee
maker and all indicator lights will automatically turn off.
IMPORTANT: Repeat this process twice to thoroughly clean the machine before using for the first time.
Unplug the coffee maker when not in use.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
The drip tray adjusts to two heights to accommodate shorter cups and mugs or taller travel mugs and tumblers.
For taller vessels, make sure the drip tray and cover are in the lower position.
(See Figure 2) When brewing a smaller cup, raise the drip tray to the upper level to avoid splatter. (See Figure 4)
ADJUSTING THE DRIP TRAY
Grasp the drip tray and cover from the base. (See Figure 2)
Holding both pieces, slightly tilt upward and slide out from the unit. (See Figure 3)
Using the tab on the back of the drip tray as your guide, again slightly tilt both pieces upward and glide
the tabs into the upper slots on the body. (See Figure 4) Press down on the drip tray to make sure it is
firmly and properly attached before placing the cup or mug on top.

WARNING: Before brewing, the water should be filled to the MIN line.
To avoid damage to your coffee maker, never operate when the water tank is empty.
Grasp the removable water tank using the designated grips. Lift the water tank up and remove it from
the base of the unit. (See Figure 1)
Remove the lid and fill the water tank to the MAX indicator line with cold water.
NOTE: Never fill the water tank past the MAX indicator line or below the MIN indicator line.
IMPORTANT: For optimal flavor, distilled water is recommended.
Firmly place the lid and tank back and secure.
Select the desired height for the drip tray, depending on the size of your vessel.
Place the empty cup, mug or tumbler in position on the drip tray cover.
Pull the adapter compartment’s front tab up to unlock and lift the lid.
Choose the capsule adaptor and add capsule into it. Press down on the capsule until it is flush with the
adapter. You will hear a “puncture sound” as the needle penetrates the capsule.
With the handle facing front, place the capsule adapter into the adapter compartment. Slide the
adapter handle into the grooves at the front of the coffee maker.
Press the adapter compartment’s lid down firmly. An audible click will indicate the lid is locked in place
and the capsule top is punctured.
Plug the coffee maker into a 120V AC electrical power outlet.
To select the brew size (6, 10 or 15 oz.), press the Size button until the indicator light illuminates the
desired size. Then press the Capsule button to begin the brew cycle.
The red PREHEAT indicator light will begin to flash as the water begins to heat.
When the water has reached the optimum temperature, the preheat light will go out and the blue BREW
light will illuminate.
The pump will then activate and coffee will begin to stream through the nozzle.
To interrupt the brewing cycle at any time, press the Capsule button. Then remove the plug from
the power outlet.
At the end of the cycle, the coffee maker and all indicator lights will automatically turn off.
Allow unit to cool before removing the used capsule to discard.

The ground coffee adapter allows you to create your own favorite blend of coffee. Personalize your blends by
adding a dash of cinnamon, orange peel, cardamom or vanilla bean.
NOTE: For best results, use medium ground coffee.
WARNING: Before brewing, fill the water tank to the MIN line.
To avoid damage to your coffee maker, never operate when the water tank is empty.
Grasp the removable water tank using the designated grips. Lift the water tank up and remove it from
the base of the unit. (See Figure 1)
Remove the lid and fill the water tank to the MAX indicator line with cold water.
NOTE: Never fill the water tank past the MAX indicator line or below the MIN indicator line.
IMPORTANT: For optimal flavor, distilled water is recommended.
Put the lid and water tank back in place. Press firmly to make sure it is securely in place.
Select the desired height for the drip tray, depending on the size of the cup, mug or tumbler being used.
Place your empty vessel in position on the drip tray cover.
Pull the adapter compartment’s front tab up to unlock and lift the lid.
Choose the ground coffee adapter and fill it in with drip or regular grind coffee. Recommendation: use
1 level tablespoon of grind coffee for each cup of coffee desired (1 cup = 5 oz. of coffee). For stronger or
milder coffee, adjust amount of coffee to suit your taste. DO NOT EXCEED the MAX fill line.
With the handle facing front, place the ground coffee adapter into the adapter compartment. Slide the
adapter handle into the grooves at the front.
Press the adapter compartment’s lid down firmly. An audible click will indicate the lid is locked firmly
into position.
Plug into a 120V AC electrical power outlet.
To select the brew size (6, 10 or 15 oz.), press the Size button until the indicator light illuminates the
desired size.
Press the Ground Coffee button to begin the brew cycle.
The red PREHEAT indicator light will begin to flash as the coffee maker begins heating the water.

SETTING UP YOUR COFFEE MAKER TO BOIL WATER
Heating plain water in your coffee maker is quick and easy. Water is dispensed at the perfect temperature for
preparing single cups of items requiring hot water, such as bagged teas, instant oats, packaged hot chocolate
or hot apple cider.
WARNING: Before brewing, fill the water tank to at least the MIN indicator line. To avoid damage, never
operate when the water tank is empty.
IMPORTANT: To prevent tainted or “off” flavors when changing hot beverages, use a damp paper towel to
completely remove any residue from the adapter compartment while the unit is off.
Follow detailed brewing instructions described previously.
Prepare your cup, mug or tumbler by placing the item of your choice into the cup.
Select either adapter. With the handle facing front, place the adapter of choice into the adapter
compartment. Slide the adapter handle into the grooves at the front of the coffee maker.
Following detailed instructions provided previously, adjust the drip tray to accommodate the size
of your vessel.
Select the brew size by pressing the Size button until the indicator light illuminates the desired size,
then press the Capsule button.
After water has been heated and dispensed, stir contents in cup well.
SETTING UP YOUR COFFEE MAKER FOR ICED BEVERAGES USING A CAPSULE
Follow the “SETTING UP YOUR COFFEE MAKER USING THE CAPSULE ADAPTER” instructions:
Use K-Cup®capsule for a stronger flavor.
Use a tall (approx. 16 oz.) cup or tumbler filled with ice cubes.
CAUTION: Do not use a glass vessel as glass may crack or break.
USING GROUND COFFEE
Follow the “SETTING UP YOUR COFFEE MAKER WITH GROUND COFFEE ADAPTER” instructions with the
following adjustments:
Fill the reusable ground coffee adapter to the MAX fill line.
Use a tall (approx. 16 oz.) cup or tumbler filled with ice cubes.
CAUTION: Do not use a glass vessel as glass may crack or break.
BREWING ANOTHER CUP
You can brew cup after cup of your favorite hot beverage.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring
disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance-repair technician.
CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Always make sure the coffee maker is unplugged and the drip tray and cover are cool before removing
from the base.
Rinse drip tray and cover and replace in the base.
Press the adapter compartment’s front lid to unlock and lift the lid.
Remove the used capsule from the capsule adapter and discard. Rinse the capsule adapter in warm
water before each use.
When using the reusable ground coffee adapter, discard the used coffee. Wash adapter in warm, soapy
water to remove all coffee grinds. Rinse well.
NOTE: Both the capsule and the ground coffee adapters are top-rack dishwasher safe.
Use a damp cloth or sponge to completely remove any residue from the adapter compartment.
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to remove superficial stains. For stubborn stains, use a nylon or
plastic pad with a cleanser. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleansers.
DESCALING INSTRUCTIONS
Cleaning your coffee maker is recommended at least twice a year, depending on frequency of use and
quality of water. If water in your area is hard, more minerals may deposit in the coffee maker which can
affect the flavor or brewing time. Clean as often as needed per these steps:
1.Fill water tank with 1 part white vinegar (3 oz.) to 3 parts cold water (9 oz.). Do not add any adapter.
2.Place an empty tumbler in position on the drip tray cover.
3.Select a brew size by pressing the Size button until the indicator light illuminates the desired size.
4.Press either the Ground Coffee or Capsule button. The red PREHEAT indicator light will begin to flash as it
begins heating the cleaning solution.
5.The blue BREW light will illuminate as the cleaning solution begins to stream through the nozzle.
At the end of the cycle, the coffee maker and all indicator lights will automatically turn off.
6.Repeat steps 3 to 5 until the water tank is empty.
7.Following the same procedure, continue to run clean water through the coffee maker three times,
or until water is clean and fresh and no residual vinegar odor or flavor remains.
8.Dry parts thoroughly. Wipe the coffee maker’s exterior with a dry cloth. Unplug when not in use.

STORING INSTRUCTIONS
Unplug unit and allow to cool.
Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit,
as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
Store one clean adapter in the adapter compartment.
Store the other adapter with the unit.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Never store unit while it is still plugged in.
WARRANTY
For one year from the date of purchase, the manufacturer
guarantees to repair or replace any item found defective
in material, construction or workmanship under normal use
and following care instructions. This excludes damage from misuse
or abuse. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal.

If the manufacturer confirms a defect and approves your claim,

NE PAS mettre la carafe dans un four à micro-ondes.
NE PAS laisser la carafe vide sur la plaque chauffante lorsque l’appareil est allumé; la carafe risque
de se fissurer ou de subir d’autres dommages.
Le clapet de débit se trouve au bas du porte-filtre amovible et est activé lorsque la carafe est retirée.
Cela permet de retirer la carafe et de verser une tasse de café avant que toute la carafe soit infusée.

REMARQUES SUR LA FICHE
Cet appareil est doté d’une fiche polarisée (une broche est plus large que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque
de décharge électrique, la fiche s’insère d’une seule manière dans une prise polarisée. Si la fiche
ne s’insère pas complètement dans la prise, la tourner pour l’insérer de l’autre côté. S’il est toujours
impossible de l’insérer complètement dans la prise, communiquer avec un électricien qualifié.
Ne jamais modifier la fiche de quelque façon que ce soit.
REMARQUES SUR LE CORDON
Un cordon d’alimentation court (ou un cordon d’alimentation détachable) est fourni to reduce risks of
tangling in or tripping on a longer cord.
Les longs cordons d’alimentation détachables ou les rallonges sont disponibles, cependant ils doivent
être utilisés avec prudence.
Si un long cordon d’alimentation détachable ou une rallonge sont utilisés ;
1. Les caractéristiques électriques indiquées sur le cordon d’alimentation détachable ou la rallonge

INTRODUCTION
Cette cafetière une tasse utilise un système sous pression pour préparer des boissons chaudes à la
perfection, tasse après tasse.
The adjustable drip tray accommodates most sizes of cups, mugs and tumblers..
L’adaptateur à café moulu (inclus) permet de créer des mélanges uniques à partir de votre café préféré.
Ajoutez un soupçon de cannelle, de zeste d’orange, de cardamome ou de gousse de vanille pour lui
donner encore plus de personnalité.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
MISE EN GARDE : Pour éviter le risque de décharge électrique électrique, ne pas immerger
la cafetière ou laisser le cordon d’alimentation entrer en contact avec de l’eau ou d’autres liquides.
Retirer tous les matériaux d’emballage et les étiquettes qui se trouvent. Placer l’appareil sur une surface
propre et plane. Veiller à retirer les deux adaptateurs de l’emballage interne.

Pour nettoyer l’intérieur de la machine, il est recommandé d’effectuer un cycle d’infusion avec un
réservoir rempli d’eau, ce qui correspond à 3 ou 4 grandes tasses.
Saisir le réservoir d’eau amovible à
l’aide des poignées prévues à cet effet.
Soulever le réservoir d’eau et le retirer
de la base de la machine. (Se reporter à

Enlever le couvercle et remplir le
réservoir avec de l’eau froide jusqu’à la
ligne repère MAX.
REMARQUE : Ne jamais remplir le
réservoir d’eau au-delà de la ligne
repère MAX et veiller à ce que le niveau
d’eau dépasse la ligne
repère MIN.

place to secure.

Poser la tasse, la grande tasse ou le gobelet vide sur le protecteur du plateau d’égouttement.

Pour sélectionner la quantité à infuser (6 oz./177 ml, 10 oz./295 ml ou 15 oz./443 ml), appuyer sur
le bouton de quantité (Size) jusqu’à ce que le témoin lumineux correspondant à la quantité désirée
s’allume, then press Ground Coffee or Capsule.
Appuyer sur le bouton de café moulu (Ground Coffee) ou Capsule.
Le témoin lumineux de préchauffage (PREHEAT) rouge se met à clignoter lorsque as the water heats.

la cafetière et tous les témoins lumineux s’éteindront automatiquement.
IMPORTANT : Répéter cette procédure deux fois pour nettoyer soigneusement la machine avant
de l’utiliser pour la première fois.
Débrancher la cafetière lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée.
INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’INFUSION
Le plateau d’égouttement se règle à deux hauteurs au choix en fonction de la taille de la tasse (petite
tasse, grande tasse, tasse de voyage grand format ou gobelet).
For taller vessels, s’assurer que le plateau d’égouttement et le protecteur se trouvent bien dans la position
la plus basse. (Se reporter à la figure 2.) Pour préparer une petite tasse, lever le plateau d’égouttement au
niveau supérieur pour éviter les éclaboussures. (Se reporter à la figure 4.)
RÉGLAGE DU PLATEAU D’ÉGOUTTEMENT
Saisir le plateau d’égouttement et le protecteur au niveau de la base. (Se reporter à la figure 2)
Les deux pièces en main, incliner légèrement vers le haut et faire glisser hors de la machine. (Se reporter
à la figure 3)
En utilisant la languette à l’arrière du plateau d’égouttement en guise de repère, incliner légèrement
de nouveau les deux pièces vers le haut et faire glisser les languettes dans les fentes supérieures sur le
corps de la cafetière. (Se reporter à la figure 4) Appuyer sur le plateau d’égouttement pour s’assurer qu’il
est bien en place et correctement fixé avant de poser la tasse dessus.

Saisir le réservoir d’eau amovible à l’aide des poignées prévues à cet effet. Soulever le réservoir d’eau
et le retirer de la base de la machine. (Se reporter à la figure 1.)
Enlever le couvercle et remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau froide jusqu’à la ligne repère MAX.
REMARQUE : Never fill the water tank past the MAX indicator line or below the MIN indicator line.
IMPORTANT : Pour une saveur optimale, distilled water is recommended.
Firmly place the lid and tank back and secure.
Sélectionner la hauteur désirée pour le plateau d’égouttement, depending on the size of your vessel.
Poser la tasse, la grande tasse ou le gobelet vide sur le protecteur du plateau d’égouttement.
Tirer la languette avant du compartiment à adaptateur vers le haut pour déverrouiller et soulever le
couvercle.
Choose the capsule adaptor and add capsule into it. Appuyer sur la capsule jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit
parfaitement insérée dans l’adaptateur. Vous entendrez l’aiguille percer la capsule.
La queue orientée vers l’avant, placer l’adaptateur à capsule dans le compartiment à adaptateur. Faire
glisser la queue de l’adaptateur dans les rainures à l’avant de la cafetière.
Enfoncer fermement le couvercle du compartiment à adaptateur. An audible click will indicate the lid is
locked in place and the capsule top is punctured.
Brancher la cafetière dans une prise électrique c.a. de 120 V.
Pour sélectionner la quantité à infuser (6 oz./177 ml, 10 oz./295 ml ou 15 oz./443 ml), appuyer sur le
bouton de quantité (Size) jusqu’à ce que le témoin lumineux correspondant à la quantité désirée s’allume
et appuyer sur le bouton Capsule pour démarrer le cycle d’infusion.

Laisser la machine refroidir avant de retirer la capsule usagée pour la jeter.

Place the empty vessel in position on the drip tray cover.
Tirer la languette avant du compartiment à adaptateur vers le haut pour déverrouiller et soulever
le couvercle.
Choisir l’adaptateur à café moulu et le remplir de café filtre ou de café moulu ordinaire. Il est
recommandé d’utiliser une cuillère à table rase de café moulu pour chaque tasse de café désirée
(1 tasse = 5 oz./150 ml de café). Pour obtenir un café plus fort ou plus doux, ajuster la quantité de café.
NE JAMAIS DÉPASSER la ligne de remplissage MAX.
La queue orientée vers l’avant, placer l’adaptateur pour café moulu dans le compartiment à adaptateur.
Faire glisser la queue de l’adaptateur dans les rainures à l’avant de la cafetière.
