Troubleshooting
LCD displays the Add Water icon.
• Tank is empty.
• Water level in tank is lower than the height of the float. Minimum water level is 500 ml
(2 cups) of water.
• Float may be stuck. Remove reservoir and shake it.
LCD displays the Add Coee icon.
• Ensure filter basket is in place and coee drawer is fully closed.
• Remove coee from filter basket, leaving the basket in the drawer. Reset scale to
zero, then add coee.
Coee scale always displays weight in Accu-Brew mode.
• Add filter basket and paper filter to the coee drawer with no coee. Reset scale to
zero, then add coee. Scale must always be reset to zero with filter basket in place
before adding coee for accurate scale readings.
LCD displays the Water Filter icon.
• Water filter needs to be replaced. See “Wolf Gourmet Coee System Parts and
Features” page for instructions on how to order a new filter.
• Water filter icon will not disappear from display until the counter is reset. To reset
water filter reminder, turn Mode Selector bezel to Clean mode, and hold down the
Zero button until water filter icon turns o.
Coee is not dispensing.
• Ensure carafe is in place.
• Overflow protection may be activated. If a lot of coee is added and filter basket is
about to overflow, the scale will detect this and the heater will turn o to allow the
basket to drain. Once the coee has drained to a certain level, the heater will turn
back on and finish the brew. The unit will continue to display the Brewing icon while
this feature is activated.
Coee tastes bad.
• Too much water or too little water was added.
• Too much coee or too little coee was added.

Coee overflows from filter basket.
• Too much coee was added. Recommended maximum amount is 82g of coee.
• Decaeinated or finely ground coee is more likely to cause overflow. Use slightly
less grounds when brewing these types of coees.
• Coee grounds may have fallen between the paper filter and filter basket when
coee was being added.
• Paper filter not open fully or in the proper position. Always fold the paper filter at the
seams to ensure filter fits properly. Then, rinse filter basket before inserting paper
filter. This will make it easier for the edges of the paper filter to remain pressed
against the side of the basket.
• Poor-quality paper filter.
Longer than normal brew time.
• Too much water was added (2.4 L [10 cups] max).
• Coee system needs cleaning.
• Overflow protection may have been activated during brew. If a lot of coee is added
