This service manual helps with troubleshooting and diagnosing
malfunctions, completion of repairs, and return of the product to
proper operating condition. Read the complete instructions
contained within before initiating any repairs.
This guide is intended for use by Factory Certified Service. Wolf
Appliance, Inc. recommends that only Factory Certified Service
companies do repairs.

bottom of the bullnose assembly.
Important information for each product appears on the product
rating plate. Rating plates identify:

FLAT WOK GRATE REMOVAL
Remove the Flat Wok Grate
Lift the flat wok grate directly upward from the wok grate.
FLAT WOK GRATE INSTALLATION
Install the Flat Wok Grate
Set the flat wok grate onto the wok grate.
WOK GRATE REMOVAL
To remove the wok grate, first remove:

Remove the Wok Grate
Lift the wok grate directly upward from the wok plate.
WARNING
The wok grate is very heavy. Two people may be
necessary to lift the wok grate. Verify there is
adequate clearance around the unit before
attempting to lift the wok grate. Make sure the
surface can support the wok grate after setting it
down. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in
grave personal injury or damage to the unit,
countertop, or wok grate.
WOK GRATE INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Grate
Set the wok grate into the hole in the wok top plate. The
keyed feature on the wok grate should align with the notch
in the front of the wok top plate.
WARNING
The wok grate is very heavy. Two people may be
necessary to lift the wok grate. Verify there is
adequate clearance around the unit before
attempting to lift the wok grate. Failure to follow
these guidelines may result in grave personal injury or
damage to the unit or wok grate.
WOK TOP PLATE REMOVAL
To remove the wok top plate, first remove:

Remove the Wok Top Plate
Lift the wok top plate directly upward from the wok support
assembly.
WARNING
The wok top plate is very heavy. Two people may be
necessary to lift the wok top plate. Verify there is
adequate clearance around the unit before
attempting to lift the wok top plate. Make sure the
surface can support the wok top plate after setting it
down. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in
grave personal injury or damage to the unit,
countertop, or wok top plate.
WOK TOP PLATE INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Top Plate
Set the wok top plate onto the wok support assembly. The
keyed feature on the wok top plate's rear right-hand side
should align with the hole in the wok support assembly.
TIP: The "FRONT" embossed label on the wok top plate's
bottom side should face toward the bullnose and knobs. The
"BACK" label should face toward the back of the unit.

attempting to lift the wok top plate. Failure to follow

WOK FRAME ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
To remove the wok frame assembly, first remove:

Remove the Wok Frame Assembly
1Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the wok frame
assembly mounting screws.
2Lift the wok frame assembly upward from the burner box.

Install the Wok Frame Assembly
1Place the wok frame assembly into the burner box.
2Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the wok frame assembly
mounting screws.
WOK ENCLOSURE REMOVAL
To remove the wok enclosure, first remove:

2Lift the wok enclosure directly upward from the wok frame.
TIP: The wok enclosure is made from two 90° pieces that clip
together without fasteners.
WOK ENCLOSURE INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Enclosure
1Set the wok enclosure into the wok frame.
2Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the wok enclosure
mounting screws.
WOK FRAME REMOVAL
To remove the wok frame, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
Remove the Wok Frame
1Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the wok frame
mounting screws and the screws that hold the wok frame to
the spacer rails.
2Lift the wok frame upward from the support rails in the
burner box.
TIP: The wok enclosure is made from two 90° pieces that clip
together without fasteners.
WOK FRAME INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Frame
1Set the wok frame onto the support rails in the burner box.
2Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the wok frame mounting
screws and the screws that hold the wok frame to the
spacer rails.
WOK SPACER RAIL REMOVAL
To remove the wok spacer rail, first remove:

Remove the Wok Spacer Rail
Lift the wok spacer rail directly upward from the supports in
the burner box.
WOK SPACER RAIL INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Spacer Rail
Set the wok spacer rail onto the supports in the burner box,
positioned so that its screw holes will align with the screw
holes in the wok frame.
SOLENOID REMOVAL
To remove the solenoid, first remove:

2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
Remove the Solenoid
1Disconnect the solenoid wire connectors.
2Use a 5/8" combination wrench to disconnect the solenoid
inlet line.
3Use a 5/8" combination wrench to disconnect the solenoid
outlet line.
4Remove the solenoid from the unit.
SOLENOID INSTALLATION
After installing the solenoid, install:

1Place the solenoid into the unit.
2Use a 5/8" combination wrench to connect the solenoid
outlet line.
3Use a 5/8" combination wrench to connect the solenoid inlet
line.
4Connect the solenoid wire connectors.
WOK BURNER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
To remove the wok burner assembly, first remove:

2Remove the wok burner assembly from the unit.
WOK BURNER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Burner Assembly
Place the wok burner assembly into the unit so that it
engages with the elbow's gas outlet at the bottom of the
tray.
WOK SURFACE BURNER REMOVAL
To remove the wok surface burner, first remove:

3 Wok top plate
Remove the Wok Surface Burner
1Use a 4 mm hex bit to remove the screw from the surface
burner.
2Remove the surface burner from the top of the gas burner.
WOK SURFACE BURNER INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Surface Burner
1Install the surface burner into the top of the gas burner.
2Use a 4 mm hex bit to install the screw into the surface
burner.
WOK GAS BURNER REMOVAL
To remove the wok gas burner, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok surface burner
Remove the Wok Gas Burner
Lift the gas burner from the elbow's gas outlet at the
bottom of the tray.
WOK GAS BURNER INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Gas Burner
Place the gas burner into unit so that it engages with the
elbow's gas outlet at the bottom of the tray.
WOK IGNITOR REMOVAL
To remove the wok ignitor, first remove:

4 Wok burner assembly
Remove the Wok Ignitor
1Use a 1/4" socket to remove the wok ignitor mounting
screw.
2Loosen the nut holding the wok ignitor to the tray.
3Pull the wok ignitor up through the hole in the tray.
4Disconnect the electrode wire from the wok ignitor.
5Remove the wok ignitor from the unit.
WOK IGNITOR INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Ignitor
1Connect the electrode wire to the wok ignitor.
2Install the wok ignitor into the hole in the tray.
3Tighten the nut holding the wok ignitor to the tray.
4Use a 1/4" socket to install the wok ignitor mounting screw.
WOK IGNITOR ELECTRODE REMOVAL
To remove the wok ignitor electrode, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok burner assembly
5 Wok ignitor
Remove the Wok Electrode from the Electrode Mount
1Remove the retaining nut that holds the electrode into the
electrode mount.
2Slide the electrode mount upward and away from the
electrode.
WOK IGNITOR ELECTRODE INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Electrode into the Electrode Mount
1Replace the spring on the new electrode, and slide the
electrode mount onto the ignitor.
2Install the retaining nut, and tighten it until it is finger-tight.
WOK TRAY REMOVAL
To remove the wok tray, first remove:

Remove the Wok Tray
1Use a T-25 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the wok
gas elbow to the wok tray.

2Remove the wok tray from the unit.
WOK TRAY INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Tray
1Set the wok tray into the bottom of the wok enclosure.
2Use a T-25 Torx bit to install the screws holding the wok gas
elbow to the wok tray.
WOK MOUNTING BRACKET REMOVAL
To remove the wok mounting bracket, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
5 Wok burner assembly
6 Wok ignitor
7 Wok tray
Remove the Wok Mounting Bracket
1Use a 1/4" socket to remove the wok mounting bracket
screws.
2Remove the wok mounting bracket from the unit.
WOK MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Mounting Bracket
1Install the wok mounting bracket into the unit.
2Use a 1/4" socket to install the wok mounting bracket
screws.
BOTTOM PANEL REMOVAL
To remove the bottom panel, first remove:

3 Wok top plate

5 Wok burner assembly
6 Wok ignitor
7 Wok tray
8 Wok mounting bracket
Remove the Bottom Panel
1Move the wok orifice assembly and elbow out of the way.
2Use a 1/4" hex bit to remove the bottom panel mounting
screws.

3Remove the wok bottom panel from the unit.
BOTTOM PANEL INSTALLATION
Install the Bottom Panel
1Place the bottom panel into the unit.
2Use a 1/4" hex bit to install the bottom panel mounting
screws.
3Reposition the wok orifice assembly and elbow for
installation.
WOK ELBOW REMOVAL
To remove the wok elbow, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
5 Wok burner assembly
6 Wok ignitor
7 Wok tray
8 Wok mounting bracket
Remove the Wok Elbow
1Remove the set screw on the side of the wok elbow.
2Pull the wok elbow forward from the wok orifice holder.
3Remove the wok elbow from the unit.
WOK ELBOW INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Elbow
1Insert the wok elbow into the wok orifice holder so that it
faces upward and the elbow's outlet will align with the hole
in the wok tray.
2Install and tighten the set screw on the side of the wok
elbow.
WOK ORIFICE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
To remove the wok orifice assembly, first remove:

3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
5 Wok burner assembly
6 Wok ignitor
7 Wok tray
8 Wok mounting bracket
Remove the Wok Orifice Assembly
1Disconnect the gas line to the wok orifice assembly.
2Remove the set screw on the side of the wok orifice holder.
3Pull the wok orifice assembly away from the wok elbow.

4Remove the wok orifice assembly from the unit.
WOK ORIFICE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Install the Wok Orifice Assembly
1Place the wok orifice assembly over the wok elbow.
2Tighten the set screw on the side of the wok orifice holder.
3Connect the gas line to the wok orifice assembly.
BURNER GRATE REMOVAL
Remove the Burner Grate
Lift the burner grate from the unit.
BURNER GRATE INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Grate
Place the burner grates onto the unit.
BURNER CAP REMOVAL
To remove the burner cap, first remove:
1 Burner grate
Remove the Burner Cap
Lift the burner cap from the burner assembly.
BURNER CAP INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Cap
Place the burner cap onto the burner assembly.
ISLAND TRIM REMOVAL
To remove the island trim, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Burner grates
5 Burner caps
Then, uninstall the unit .
Remove the Island Trim
1Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the
island trim.

2Pull the trim upward to remove it from the unit.
ISLAND TRIM INSTALLATION
Install the Island Trim
1Slide the island trim down into the openings at the back of
the unit's side panels.
2Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the screws into the
island trim.
BURNER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
To remove the burner assembly, first remove:
1
Burner grate
2 Both burner caps
Remove the Burner Assembly
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the two screws holding the
burner assembly to the orifice holder.
2Lift the burner assembly from the burner pan.
3Disconnect the electrode wire from the ignitor.

BURNER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Assembly
1Attach the electrode wire to the ignitor.
2Place the burner assembly into the burner pan.
3Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the burner
assembly to the orifice holder, torqued to 24 in lb.
BURNER PAN REMOVAL
To remove the burner pan, first remove:

Burner grate
2 Both burner caps
3 Both burner assemblies
Remove the Burner Pan(s)
Lift the burner pan(s) from the unit.

BURNER PAN INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Pan(s)
Place the burner pan(s) onto the unit.
KNOB REMOVAL
Remove the Knob
Pull the knob straight off of the shaft.
KNOB INSTALLATION
Install the Knob
Push the knob onto the valve shaft.
BEZEL REMOVAL
To remove the bezel, first remove:

Knob
Remove the Bezel
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the bezel mounting screws.
2Remove the bezel from the bullnose.
BEZEL INSTALLATION
Install the Bezel
1Place the bezel over the bullnose.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the bezel mounting screws.
BULLNOSE REMOVAL
To remove the bullnose, first remove:
1
Burner grate(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
2
All burner caps
3 All burner assemblies
4 Burner pan(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
5 All knobs
6 All bezels
Remove the Bullnose
1Use a 5/16" socket to remove the nuts holding the bullnose
mounting brackets to the bullnose PEM studs.

2Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the
bullnose to the burner box supports.
3Lift the bullnose off of the screws around the outside of the
burner box.
4Remove the bullnose from the unit.
BULLNOSE INSTALLATION
Install the Bullnose
1Set the bullnose onto the unit so that the screws on the
burner box engage with the notches on the edges of the
bullnose.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the bullnose
to the burner box supports.
3Use a 5/16" socket to install the mounting nuts that hold the
bullnose PEM studs to the mounting brackets.
TIP: Check for proper alignment of the bullnose before
tightening the nuts.
SIDE PANEL REMOVAL
To remove the side panel, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Burner grate(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
5 All burner caps
Uninstall the unit
. Then, remove:
1 All burner assemblies
2 Burner pan(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
3 All knobs
4 All bezels
5 Bullnose
Remove the Side Panel
1Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the side panel
mounting screws.
2Remove the side panel from the unit.
SIDE PANEL INSTALLATION
Install the Side Panel
1Place the side panel onto the unit.
2Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the side panel mounting
screws.
BURNER BOX SUPPORT REMOVAL
To remove the burner box support, first remove:
1
Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
5 Burner grate(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
6 All burner caps
Uninstall the unit
. Then, remove:
1 All burner assemblies
2 Burner pan(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
3 All knobs
4 All bezels
5 Bullnose
6 Both side panels
Remove the Burner Box Support
1Use a 1/4" socket to remove the burner box support
mounting screws.

2Remove the burner box support from the unit.
BURNER BOX SUPPORT INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Box Support
1Place the burner box support into the unit so that it fits into
the pan supports and sides of the burner box.
2Use a 1/4" socket to install the burner box support mounting
screws.
MANIFOLD REMOVAL
TIP: It is unnecessary to remove gas lines or switch wiring from
the burner valves to replace the manifold.
To remove the manifold, first remove:
1
Burner grate(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
2
All burner caps
3 All burner assemblies
4 Burner pan(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
5 All knobs
6 All bezels
Remove the Manifold
1Use a 1/4" combination wrench to remove the manifold
screw from each valve.
2Use a combination wrench to remove the manifold inlet line
from the manifold.
3Remove any tie wraps that are holding the wire harness to
the manifold.
4Remove the manifold from the unit.
MANIFOLD INSTALLATION
Install the Manifold
CAUTION
When assembling the manifold components, use
only pipe thread compound. Do not use Teflon tape
to seal gas connections.
TIP: The new manifold includes the brass fitting.
1Use a combination wrench to attach the gas inlet line to the
manifold.
2Use a 1/4” combination wrench to install the manifold screw
on each valve.
ORIFICE HOLDER REMOVAL
To remove the orifice holder, first remove:

Burner grate
2 Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pan
Remove the Orifice Holder
1Use a 3/8” combination wrench to remove the simmer gas
line.
2Use a 1/2” combination wrench to remove the main gas line.

3Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the orifice
holder to the sealed burner bracket.

ORIFICE HOLDER INSTALLATION
Install the Orifice Holder
CAUTION
Do not over-torque brass fittings.
TIP: The 18K and 15K orifice holder appear exactly the same.
However, the screw holes on the 18K orifice holder have offsets
to prevent accidental interchange of the orifice holders.
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the orifice
holder to the sealed burner bracket.
2Use a 1/2” combination wrench to connect the main gas
line.
3Use a 3/8” combination wrench to connect the simmer gas
line.
ORIFICE HOLDER MOUNTING BRACKET REMOVAL
To remove the orifice holder, first remove:

Burner grate
2 Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pan
5 Orifice holder
Remove the Orifice Holder Mounting Bracket
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the orifice
holder mounting bracket to the burner box.
2Remove the orifice holder mounting bracket from the unit.
ORIFICE HOLDER MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION
Install the Orifice Holder Mounting Bracket
1Place the orifice holder mounting bracket into the unit.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the orifice
holder mounting bracket to the burner box.
DSI BOARD COVER REMOVAL
To remove the DSI board, first remove:
1
Burner grate (left-hand burner grate for 48" units)
2 Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pan (left-hand burner pan for 48" units)
Remove the Board Cover
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the board cover mounting
screws.
2Remove the board cover from the unit.

DSI BOARD COVER INSTALLATION
Install the Board Cover
1Place the board cover into the unit.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the board cover mounting
screws.
DSI BOARD REMOVAL
To remove the DSI board, first remove:
1
Burner grate (left-hand burner grate for 48" units)
2 Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pans (left-hand burner pan for 48" units)
5 DSI board cover
Remove the DSI Board
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the orifice
holder hat bracket to the burner box in front of the DSI
board. This releases the DSI board's ground wire and helps
with access to the DSI board's bottom two screws.
2Disconnect the DSI board wire connectors.
3Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws from the DSI
board standoffs.
4Remove the DSI board from the unit.
DSI BOARD INSTALLATION
Install the DSI Board
1Place the DSI board onto the standoffs.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws into the DSI board
standoffs.
3Connect the DSI board wire connectors.
4Place the ground connection under the removed orifice
holder's hat bracket.
5Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the orifice
holder hat bracket to the burner box in front of the DSI
board.
SPARK MODULE REMOVAL
To remove the spark module, first remove:

Burner grate above spark module to be replaced.

Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pan above spark module to be replaced.
Remove the Spark Module
1Disconnect the electrode wire from the spark module.
2Disconnect the power wire connector from the L1 terminal.
3Disconnect the white wire connector from the neutral (N)
terminal.
4Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the spark module mounting
screws.
5Remove the spark module from the unit.
SPARK MODULE INSTALLATION
Install the Spark Module
1Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the spark module mounting
screws.
2Connect the white wire connector to the neutral (N)
terminal.
3Connect the power wire connector to the L1 terminal.

4Connect the electrode wire to the spark module.
SPARK MODULE MOUNTING BRACKET REMOVAL
To remove the spark module mounting bracket, first remove:
1 Burner grate above spark module mounting bracket to be
replaced

Burner caps
3 Burner assemblies
4 Burner pan above spark module mounting bracket to be
replaced
5Both spark modules on the spark module mounting bracket
to be replaced
Remove the Spark Module Mounting Bracket
1Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws from the spark
module mounting bracket.
2Remove the spark module mounting bracket from the unit.
SPARK MODULE MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION
Install the Spark Module Mounting Bracket
1Place the spark module mounting bracket into the unit.
2Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws into the spark
module mounting bracket.
WIRING COVER REMOVAL
To remove the wiring cover for a 48" unit, first remove on the
right-hand side:

Burner grate
2 Burner caps
3 Burner assembly

Burner pan
To remove the wiring cover for a 36" unit, first remove:
1 Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
Remove the Wiring Cover
1Use a 1/4" socket to remove the wiring cover mounting
screws.
2Remove the wiring cover from the unit.
WIRING COVER INSTALLATION
Install the Wiring Cover
1Place the wiring cover over the grounding plate.
2Use a 1/4" socket to install the wiring cover mounting
screws.
POWER CORD REMOVAL
To remove the power cord for a 48" unit, first remove on the
right-hand side:

5 Wiring cover
To remove the power cord for a 36" unit, first remove:

Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate

5 Wiring cover
Remove the Power Cord
1Disconnect the wire leads at the quick disconnect.
2Remove the power cord wires from the wire retainer.
3Remove the ground wire screw.
4Remove the screws holding the power cord access panel to
the burner box.
5Press the retaining clips on the sides of the strain relief, and
push the strain relief through the power cord access panel
as far as possible. Press on the clip at the front of the strain
relief, and push the strain relief through the power cord
access panel.
POWER CORD INSTALLATION
Install the Power Cord
1Push the power cord's strain relief through the power cord
access panel.
2Install the screws holding the power cord access panel to
the burner box.
3Install the ground wire screw.
4Place the power cord wires into the wire retainer.
5Connect the wire leads at the quick disconnect.
REGULATOR REMOVAL
To remove the regulator for a 48" unit, first remove on the right-
hand side:

3 Burner assemblies

Burner pan
To remove the regulator for a 36" unit, first remove:
1 Flat wok grate
2 Wok grate
3 Wok top plate
4 Wok frame assembly
Remove the Regulator
TIP: A red cap on a regulator identifies it as liquid propane (LP).
1Use a combination wrench to remove the regulator outlet
line from the regulator outlet.
2Use a 1/4” nut driver to remove the screws from the
regulator bracket.
3Remove the regulator bracket from the unit.
4Use two pipe wrenches to remove the regulator from the
inlet pipe.
5Remove the regulator from the unit.
REGULATOR INSTALLATION
Install the Regulator
WARNING
Use only pipe thread compound. Do not use Teflon
tape to seal gas connections.
1Use two pipe wrenches to install the regulator onto the inlet
pipe.
2Place the regulator into the unit.
3Place the regulator bracket into the unit.
4Use a 1/4” nut driver to install the screws into the regulator
bracket.
