To insert batteries use philips screwdriver and open 2
screws on battery compartment. When inserting new
batteries always replace all of them and turn off Alarm
before replacing. After use of Qr HUBB if not going to be
used for a while it is recommended to remove batteries in
case of leakage.
INSERTING BATTERIES
When the Qr HUBB is turned off, Press and hold for
4 seconds.
Release to begin the start-up sequence.
POWER ON
From any screen, press and
hold for 3 seconds.
LED’s will illuminate Blue.
Release to power off.

From idle, or an alert display, pressing
▲or
▼will enter volume adjustment.

▼will then adjust the volume of the Qr HUBB. Pressing
button toggles the vibration alerts On or Off, as indicated
by the Device Option LED. Press OK to confirm the change
in settings.
From idle, Press OK to enter channel
browsing mode. The last channel to
receive an alert will be selected by
default, and its corresponding channel
LED will pulse in the selected alert
colour. If the channel is unpaired, the
channel LED will fast blink red. From
the channel select mode, use ▲and
▼
to select an unpaired channel, indicated
by a fast blinking red indicator. Press
and hold to initiate pairing.Initiate the
pairing sequence on the other device.
On successful pairing, the Qr HUBB will
return to the channel select mode and
play a tone.
From the channel select mode, use
▲and
▼ to select a paired channel,
indicated by a pulsing indicator LED.
Press and hold to delete the pairing.
After deletion, the Qr HUBB will return to the channel select
mode, indicating the unpaired channel with a fast flashing
red indicator.
The indicator will blink red to indicate that
it is ready to delete this pairing. Press
OK to confirm, or wait for the mode to
time-out if you wish to cancel.

GLOBAL MUTE
All paired devices will be
muted / unmuted. The
corresponding channel
LED will flash white/green
while the communication
is in progress.
When communication
was successful, the
channel LED’s will turn to
a solid white / green to
indicate the channel has
been muted / unmuted.
A press of will start the global mute sequence, and a
quick double press will start the global unmute sequence.
Colour is used to differentiate between mute and unmute.
White representing a mute operation, and green an unmute.
If some paired devices are unreachable, they may not
successfully mute. If this happens, the corresponding
channel LED will alternate between white / green and red.
To return the Qr HUBB to factory
settings, and clear all user data, power
the Qr HUBB off, and then power
it back on while holding the key.
When all the channel LED’s turn Blue,
release only the key while keeping
pressed. After the Blue LED’s have
flashed and turned Off, the Qr HUBB
can be turned back on by holding .
FACTORY DEFAULT
CHANNEL SELECT
From idle, Press OK to enter channel
browsing mode. The last channel to
receive an alert will be selected by
default, and its corresponding channel
LED will pulse in the selected alert
colour. If the channel is unpaired, the
channel LED will fast blink red.
The ▲and
▼keys are used to
navigate between the different
channels.
The Device Option LED will illuminate if applicable for this
device. The LED will illuminate red to indicate that the Device
Option Toggle is off, or green to indicate the toggle is on.
See ‘Device Option Toggle’ for more info.

From channel select mode, press and hold the OK button
to display info about the connected device. The Qr HUBB
will cycle between display of the RF signal strength, and
the connected device’s battery level until the OK button is
released.

DEVICE OPTION TOGGLE
When communicating, the Channel LED and the Device
Option LED flash to indicate the channel selected, and the
state that is sending. When communication is completed,
the QR will go back to channel select mode, and indicate
the new state of the Device Option Toggle with a green or
red colour.
From the channel select mode, double press the button
to toggle the paired device’s ‘Device Option’ The effect of
this toggle depends on what type of device is paired to
that channel. Below is a generalisation of products and the
associated effect.

MUTE
Pressing the Mute button once should mute all connected
Alarms. On activation neither the Qr HUBB or Alarm should
play a tone. A double press of the Mute button should undo
the mute on the Qr HUBB and Alarms.
ANTI-THEFT
When turning off the connected Alarm, a tone should be
played on the Alarm and Qr HUBB for theft prevention.
ADJUSTMENT OF BITE ALARM
CONTROLS FROM Qr HUBB
This provides a detailed measurement of the paired alarms
battery level.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION
The Qr HUBB replicates the tone pitch of the linked / paired
Alarm.
TONE SETTING
The Qr HUBB will report the signal strength of the connected
alarm and also indicate that the LED is working.
RADIO SIGNAL STRENGTH
Qr HUBB can link other devices to also activate the bivvy
light when the device is active.
