Instruction and Precautions
Please read the following instructions and precautions carefully before using this product to
ensure proper product usage.
You may have to undergo an “ACTIVATI G” process before using H2CAP the 1st time in order to get
optimum performance.
“ACTIVATI G” is the process of restoring the function of the hydrogen water generator by soaking the
electrode plate and membrane with water, when using H2CAP for the first time
– “ACTIVATI G” process is mandatory: If only big bubbles are generated during initial operation.
– How to undergo “ACTIVATI G” process: 3-5 times of manual cleaning OR leaving H2CAP for 12 hours
with water bottle filled.
※ Warning
– Once the sticker at the bottom of the H2CAP is damaged or removed, warranty will void.
– During hydrogen water generation or after completion, little amount of water may leak through the
bottom cap due to pressure.
– After completion, set the product upright and release the generated gas. Then shake off residual water
from the bottom of H2CAP.
– If you are using H2CAP consecutively, remove the USB cable and open the H2CAP to release the
accumulated hydrogen gas before second use.
– Do not touch the hydrogen generating devices (electrolysis plate or membrane) with hand, sharp tools
or other materials.
– Do not operate H2CAP without water. It may cause damage to the product.
– Do not press the water bottle when H2CAP is attached as it may cause pressure to the plate.
– Make sure the USB terminal does not get wet.

1. Usage
– If you are using the H2CAP for the first time, be sure to wash it with descaler before use. Please refer
to ‘How to clean.’
– The power can be supplied through the Mobile phone (OTG gender is needed), portable batteries,
mobile chargers, Laptop, and PC using USB.
– If you use PC or laptop as a power supply, connecting H2CAP with several electrical appliance to the
same USB port may lead to malfunctioning due to low electrical current.
– If you use an adapter higher than 5.6V, it may cause damage to the product.
– H2CAP performs better with water from 10 to 30 ℃ . If you use H2CAP with alkaline water over pH 8, it
generates hydrogen water with much greater PPB.
– Do not apply excessive force when connecting the USB cable to H2CAP.
– Large amount of hydrogen gas will be generated when you operate the product, which may cause a
popping sound when opening H2CAP.
2. LED Indicators
– White LED O : Working properly
– White LED Blinking : Cleaning mode
– Orange LED O : Hydrogen generated properly, Cleaning finished properly.
– Orange LED Blinking : eeds Cleaning
– Orange LED Blinking Fast : Product failure detected (If the same phenomenon repeats after the power
is reconnected, A/S is required.)

3. Standards
– H2CAP is designed to meet the international standard of water bottle lip. (30mm)
– If the lip of water bottle is too short or you use a water bottle that does not meet the size of
international standard, it may not be properly connected to the product. And water may overflow during
hydrogen generation, resulting in malfunction of the product.
– Since there are various type of water bottles, please check the recommended ones with the seller.
4. Storage
– H2CAP is designed to meet the international standard of water bottle lip. (30mm)
– If the lip of water bottle is too short or you use a water bottle that does not meet the size of
international standard, it may not be properly connected to the product. And water may overflow during
hydrogen generation, resulting in malfunction of the product.
– Since there are various type of water bottles, please check the recommended ones with the seller.
How to Use
① Attach H2CAP to the water bottle filled up to the bottleneck. You should use the general water bottle
with the size of 30mm lip. Turn the water bottle upside down once attached to the H2CAP.
② Connect the mini terminal of the USB cable to the H2CAP.
③ Connect the other side of USB cable to the power supply.
④ Once the power is supplied, H2CAP will starts to generate Hydrogen automatically with the white LED
on. It will turn off automatically once completed and the orange LED will lit.
If hydrogen water with more than 1,000 ppb is generated, the orange LED will lit. If scale is accumulated, the
operating time may be extended to produce more than 1,000 ppb of water. In this case, orange LED will blink

to indicate the need of cleaning.
※ After completion, separate H2CAP quickly to get rid of excessive hydrogen gas in the water bottle.
※ When you are using smartphone to supply power to H2CAP, you need to check the type of OTG gender that fits with
your smartphone.
How to Clean
Cleaning alarm unction : The H2CAP automatically detects when the hydrogen generator is not working
properly or needs to be cleaned, the orange-colored LED light will blink at the bottom of the product.
① Please pour small amount of water (100 ~ 200ml) and a descaler into the water bottle that you use.
② Attach the H2CAP, and shake it until the descaler melts.
③ Leave it for certain period of time. (The longer, the better.)
④ Connect the power supply. After 3 seconds, disconnect the USB cable and reconnect back
immediately to activate the cleaning mode for 2 minutes.
⑤ After cleaning, rinse with pure water 2 ~ 3 times using the water bottle which was in use.
※ Little amount of water may leak trough the cap at the bottom of the product while cleaning.
※ Hydrogen water is not generated during cleaning.

※ Cleaning must be done by using the descaler provided. (1 pack per cleaning)
※ Do not use other materials for cleaning, such as detergents / chlorine bleach / tools.
※ If the H2CAP is not cleaned after the cleaning alarm, the performance may be reduced or may result in
malfunctioning.
Actions to be taken in case o mal unctioning
If you find any of the following conditions during the use of the product, it is a temporary error caused by
water entering the USB terminal or USB cable. Please use it after drying in a windy place. If same
conditions persist, ask for A/S.
· Does not work when the power is connected.
· Repeatedly turns off during operation.
· LED malfunctioning.
– The brightness of LED weakens
– LED blinks irregularly.
– LED not tuned on.
– White & orange LED turns on simultaneously.
How to Use the TEST KIT
① Put water into the provided test container up to the indicated line (6cc)
② If you set 1,000ppb of hydrogen water as a standard for testing, open the test kit and drop 7~8
consecutive droplets into ① .
③ If the color of water in ① is transparent, check the color change while adding one droplets each time.
④ If the color turns blue on the 11th droplet, the level of the dissolved hydrogen water is 1,000ppb and
on 12th droplet, it is 1,100ppb.

※ Measurement standard : 100ppb per drop.
※ Recommended temperature of the water is 10~30 ℃ .
※ The measurement by test kit may have some deviations depending on the environments.
