PRODUCT SAFETY
GENERAL SAFETY
WARNINGS
WARNING Read all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations and specications
provided with this power tool. Failure to follow
all instructions listed below may result in electric
shock, re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-
operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or
dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets
will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an
extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of
a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk
of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location
is unavoidable, use a residual current device
(RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces
the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool.
Do not use a power tool while you are tired
or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always
wear eye protection. Protective equipment
such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off-position before connecting
to power source and/or battery pack, picking
up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools
with your nger on the switch or energising
power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left
attached to a rotating part of the power tool may
result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control
of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or
long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of
dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure
these are connected and properly used. Use of
dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
h) Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use
of tools allow you to become complacent and
ignore tool safety principles. A careless action
can cause severe injury within a fraction of a
second.
4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot
be controlled with the switch is dangerous and
must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or remove the battery pack, if detachable,
from the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
power tools. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions
to operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

e) Maintain power tools and accessories. Check
for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition
that may affect the power tool’s operation. If
damaged, have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the power tool
for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
h) Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean
and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles
and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe
handling and control of the tool in unexpected
situations.
5) Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger specied by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery pack may create a risk of re
when used with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specically
designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from
one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or a re.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is
damaged or modied. Damaged or modied
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
f) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to re
or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or
temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions and do not
charge the battery pack or tool outside
the temperature range specied in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside the specied range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of re.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied
repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service
of battery packs should only be performed
by the manufacturer or authorized service
providers.
BRUSH CUTTER AND
GRASS TRIMMER SAFETY
WARNINGS
a) Do not use the machine in bad weather conditions,
especially when there is a risk of lightning. This
decreases the risk of being struck by lightning.
b) Thoroughly inspect the area for wildlife where the
machine is to be used. Wildlife may be injured by
the machine during operation.
c) Thoroughly inspect the area where the machine
is to be used and remove all stones, sticks, wires,
bones, and other foreign objects. Thrown objects
can cause personal injury.
d) Before using the machine, always visually inspect
to see that the cutter or blade and the cutter or
blade assembly are not damaged. Damaged parts
increase the risk of injury.
e) Follow instructions for changing accessories.
Improperly tightened blade securing nuts or
bolts may either damage the blade or result in it
becoming detached.
f) The rated rotational speed of the blade must be
at least equal to the maximum rotational speed
marked on the machine. Blades running faster than
their rated rotational speed can break and y apart.
g) Wear eye, ear, head and hand protection. Adequate
protective equipment will reducepersonal injury by
ying debris or accidental contact with the cutting
line or blade.
h) While operating the machine, always wear safety
footwear. Do not operate the machine when
barefoot or wearing open sandals. This reduces
the chance of injury to the feet from contact with a
moving cutter, line or blade.
i) While operating the machine, always wear long
trousers. Exposed skin increases the likelihood of
injury from thrown objects.
j) Keep bystanders away while operating the
machine. Thrown debris can result in serious
personal injury.
k) Always use two hands when operating the
machine. Holding the machine with both hands will
avoid loss of control.
l) Hold the machine by the insulated gripping
surfaces only, because the cutting line or blade
may contact hidden wiring. Cutting line or blades
contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal
parts of the machine “live” and could give the
operator an electric shock.

m) Always keep proper footing and operate the
machine only when standing on the ground.
Slippery or unstable surfaces may cause a loss of
balance or control of the machine.
n) Do not operate the machine on excessively steep
slopes. This reduces the risk of loss of control,
slipping and falling which may result in personal
injury.
o) When working on slopes, always be sure of your
footing, always work across the face of slopes,
never up or down and exercise extreme caution
when changing direction. This reduces the risk of
loss of control, slipping and falling which may result
in personal injury.
p) Keep all parts of the body away from the cutter,
line or blade when the machine is operating.
Before you start the machine, make sure the
cutter, line or blade is not contacting anything. A
moment of inattention while operating the machine
may result in injury to yourself or others.
q) Do not operate the machine above waist height.
This helps prevent unintended cutter or blade
contact and enables better control of the machine
in unexpected situations.
r) When cutting brush or saplings that are under
tension, be alert for spring back. When the tension
in the wood bres is released, the brush or sapling
may strike the operator and/or throw the machine
out of control.
s) Use extreme caution when cutting brush and
saplings. The slender material may catch the blade
and be whipped toward you or pull you off balance.
t) Maintain control of the machine and do not touch
cutters, lines or blades and other hazardous
moving parts while they are still in motion. This
reduces the risk of injury from moving parts.
u) Carry the machine with the machine switched off
and away from your body. Proper handling of the
machine will reduce the likelihood of accidental
contact with a moving cutter, line or blade.
v) When transporting or storing the machine, always
t the cover on metal blades. Proper handling of
the machine will reduce the likelihood of accidental
contact with the blade.
w) Only use replacement cutters, lines, cutting
heads and blades specied by the manufacturer.
Incorrect replacement parts may increase the risk
of breakage and injury.
x) When clearing jammed material or servicing the
machine, make sure the switch is off and the
battery pack is removed. Unexpected starting of
the machine while clearing jammed material or
servicing may result in serious personal injury.
BLADE THRUST CAUSES
AND RELATED WARNINGS
Blade thrust is a sudden sideways, forward or
backward motion of the machine, which may occur
when the blade jams or catches on an object such as
a sapling or a tree stump. It can be violent enough to
cause the machine and/or operator to be propelled
in any direction, and possibly lose control of the
machine.
Blade thrust and its related hazards can be avoided by
taking proper precautions as given below.
a) Maintain a rm grip with both hands on the
machine and position your arms to resist blade
thrust. Position your body to the left side of the
machine. Blade thrust can increase the risk of injury
due to the machine moving unexpectedly. Blade
thrust can be controlled by the operator if proper
precautions are taken.
b) If the blade binds, or when interrupting a cut for
any reason, switch the machine off and hold the
machine motionless in the material until the blade
comes to a complete stop. While the blade is
binding, never attempt to remove the machine from
the material or pull the machine backward while
the blade is in motion, otherwise blade thrust may
occur. Investigate and take corrective actions to
eliminate the cause of blade binding.
c) Do not use blunt or damaged blades. Blunt or
damaged blades increase the risk of jamming or
catching on an object, resulting in blade thrust.
d) Always maintain good visibility of the material
being cut. Blade thrust is more likely to occur in
areas where it is dicult to see the material being
cut.
e) If you are approached by another person while
operating the machine, switch the machine off.
There is an increased risk of injury to other persons
being struck by the moving blade in the event of
blade thrust.
SAFETY WARNINGS FOR
BATTERY PACK
a) Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery
pack.
b) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store
battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer
where they may short-circuit each other or be
short-circuited by conductive materials. When
battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, that can
make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a re.
c) Do not expose battery pack to heat or re. Avoid
storage in direct sunlight.
d) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
e) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow the
liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes.
If contact has been made, wash the affected area

with copious amounts of water and seek medical
advice.
f) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
g) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry
cloth if they become dirty.
h) Battery pack needs to be charged before use.
Always refer to this instruction and use the
correct charging procedure.
i) Do not maintain battery pack on charge when not
in use.
j) After extended periods of storage, it may
be necessary to charge and discharge the
battery pack several times to obtain maximum
performance.
k) Recharge only with the charger specied by
WorxNITRO. Do not use any charger other
than that specically provided for use with the
equipment.
l) Do not use any battery pack which is not
designed for use with the equipment.
m) Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
n) Retain the original product literature for future
reference.
o) Remove the battery from the equipment when not
in use.
p) Dispose of properly.
q) Do not mix cells of different manufacture,
capacity, size or type within a device.
r) Keep the battery away from microwaves and
high pressure.

Operation
To start
WARNING! The cutting head
continues to rotate after the
trimmer has been switched off; wait
until it has completely stopped then
lay down the tool.
Press the lock-off button rst, then
press the switch trigger to start the
machine.

Assembling and removing the
trimmer head
Insert the hex key into the hole and
rotate the trimmer head until it stops
in a locked position. Then, rotate
counterclockwise to remove it, and
clockwise to assemble it.

Winding the trimmer line
Step 1: Remove the battery pack
from the trimmer
Step 2: Rotate the trimmer head in
the direction of the arrow so it aligns
with the eyelit.
Step 3: Insert the line into the eyelet
(J2) and push the line until the end
of the line comes out of the opposite
eyelet.
Step 4: Pull the line from the other
side until equal lengths of the line
appear on both sides of the trimmer
head (no more than 6.5ft on either
side)
Step 5: Rotate the head to load the
line.
NOTE: The spool must be wound
while inside the trimmer head. The
spool cannot be wound with line,
then installed into the trimmer head.

Assembling the brush cutter blade
Remove the trimmer head and the
skirt before assembling the brush
cutter blade.
Insert the hex key into the hole. Place
the brush-cutter blade on top of
the spacer, place washer on top of
the brush-cutter blade, place blade
housing over washer. After that, use
the wrench to tighten the lock-nut.

ATTACHMENT-CAPABLE ACCESSORIES
The below attachment accessories are sold
separately to convert the grass trimmer into a tool
for various applications.
1. Pole hedge trimmer attachment (WA0220)
This attachment is intended for cutting and
trimming hedges and bushes in domestic use.
2. Pole saw attachment (WA0222)
This attachment is intended for sawing of trees,
tree trunks, branches, limbs, etc. Cuts can be
sawed with or across the grain. This product is
not suitable for sawing mineral materials.
3. Edger attachment (WA0223)
This attachment is intended for edging around
walkways, driveways, ower beds, etc.

BATTERY STATUS (See Fig. E5)
Before starting or after use, press the button beside
the power indicator light on the machine to check
the battery capacity. During operation, the battery
capacity will be indicated automatically by the battery
power indicator.
The indicator constantly senses and displays the
battery condition as follows.
For the machine with 2 battery packs with different
power, the power indicator light displays the battery
condition with the lower one of the two batteries.

OPERATION
INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! The charger and battery pack are
specially designed to work together so do
not attempt to use any other devices. Never insert or
allow metallic objects into your charger or battery
pack connections because of an electrical failure
and hazard will occur.
1. Bump-line feed system (See Fig. I)
The trimmer is equipped with a bump-line system.
Just bump the trimmer head while the machine is
running, new line will feed out.
2. Winding the trimmer line (See Fig. K)
Insert the replacement line through the eyelet and
feed it through the other side. Ensure both ends of
the line are even on each end of the trimmer head
(recommended 2m) and cut the line. Turn the dial
clockwise to wind the line around the spool until
about 19cm remains on either side.
STORING YOUR GRASS
TRIMMER
Always remove the battery pack from your
trimmer after use.
To store your GRASS trimmer
The trimmer is provided with a hanging slot for
storing the trimmer on the wall. (See Fig. N)
Store in a dry place where the trimmer and battery
can be protected from damage.
MAINTENANCE
Always remove the battery pack from your
trimmer after use.
Always check the product prior to being used for
any damage.
After use, disconnect the battery from the tool and
check for damage.
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication or
maintenance. There are no user serviceable parts
in your power tool. Never use water or chemical
cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a
dry cloth. Always store your power tool in a dry room
temperature location. Keep the motor ventilation
slots clean. Keep all working controls free of dust.
FOR BATTERY TOOLS
The ambient temperature range for the use and
storage of tool and battery is 0°C-45°C .
The recommended ambient temperature range for
the charging system during charging is 0°C-40°C .

Disposal
The machine, its accessories and
packaging materials should be sorted for
environmentally friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling.

警告！阅读随电动工具提供的所有安全警
告、说明、图示和规定。不遵照以下所列说
明会导致电击、着火和／或严重伤害。
保存所有警告和说明书以备查阅。
警告中的术语“电动工具”是指市电驱动（有线）
电动工具或电池驱动（无线）电动工具。
a)工作场地的安全
1)保持工作场地清洁和明亮。杂乱和黑暗的场地
会引发事故。
2)不要在易爆环境，如有易燃液体、气体或粉尘
的环境下操作电动工具。电动工具产生的火花
会点燃粉尘或气体。
3)操作电动工具时，远离儿童和旁观者。注意力
不集中会使你失去对工具的控制。
b)电气安全
1)电动工具插头必须与插座相配。绝不能以任何
方式改装插头。需接地的电动工具不能使用任
何转换插头。未经改装的插头和相配的插座将
降低电击风险。
2)避免人体接触接地表面，如管道、散热片和冰
箱。如果你身体接触接地表面会增加电击风
险。
3)不得将电动工具暴露在雨中或潮湿环境中。水
进入电动工具将增加电击风险。
4)不得滥用软线。绝不能用软线搬运、拉动电动
工具或拔出其插头。使软线远离热源、油、锐
边或运动部件。受损或缠绕的软线会增加电击
风险。
5)当在户外使用电动工具时，使用适合户外使用
的延长线。适合户外使用的电线将降低电击风
险。
6)如果无法避免在潮湿环境中操作电动工具，
应使用带有剩余电流装置（RCD）保护的电
源。RCD的使用可降低电击风险。
c) 人身安全
1)保持警觉，当操作电动工具时关注所从事的操
作并保持清醒。当你感到疲倦，或在有药物、
酒精或治疗反应时，不要操作电动工具。在
操作电动工具时瞬间的疏忽会导致严重人身伤
害。
2)使用个人防护装置。始终佩戴护目镜。防护装
置，诸如适当条件下使用防尘面具、防滑安全
鞋、安全帽、听力防护等装置能减少人身伤
害。
3)防止意外起动。在连接电源和/或电池包、拿起
或搬运工具前确保开关处于关断位置。手指放
在开关上搬运工具或开关处于接通时通电会导
致危险。
4)在电动工具接通之前，拿掉所有调节钥匙或扳
手。遗留在电动工具旋转零件上的扳手或钥匙
会导致人身伤害。
5)手不要过分伸展。时刻注意立足点和身体平
衡。这样能在意外情况下能更好地控制住电动
工具。
6)着装适当。不要穿宽松衣服或佩戴饰品。让你
的头发和衣服远离运动部件。宽松衣服、佩饰
或长发可能会卷入运动部件。
7)如果提供了与排屑、集尘设备连接用的装置，
要确保其连接完好且使用得当。使用集尘装置
可降低尘屑引起的危险。
8)不要因为频繁使用工具而产生的熟悉感而掉以
轻心，忽视工具的安全准则。某个粗心的动作
可能在瞬间导致严重的伤害。
d)电动工具使用和注意事项
1)不要勉强使用电动工具，根据用途使用合适的
电动工具。选用合适的按照额定值设计的电动
工具会使你工作更有效、更安全。
2)如果开关不能接通或关断电源，则不能使用该
电动工具。不能通过开关来控制的电动工具是
危险的且必须进行修理。
3)在进行任何调节、更换附件或贮存电动工具之
前，必须从电源上拔掉插头和/或卸下电池包（
如可拆卸）。这种防护性的安全措施降低了电
动工具意外起动的风险。
4)将闲置不用的电动工具贮存在儿童所及范围之
外，并且不允许不熟悉电动工具和不了解这些
说明的人操作电动工具。电动工具在未经培训
的使用者手中是危险的。
5)维修电动工具及其附件。检查运动部件是否调
整到位或卡住，检查零件破损情况和影响电动
工具运行的其他状况。如有损坏，应在使用前
修理好电动工具。许多事故是由维护不良的电
动工具引发的。
6)保持切削刀具锋利和清洁。维护良好地有锋利
切削刃的刀具不易卡住而且容易控制。

e)电池式工具使用和注意事项
1)仅使用生产者规定的充电器充电。将适用于某

2)仅使用配有专用电池包的电动工具。使用其他
电池包可能会产生伤害和着火危险。
3)当电池包不用时，将它远离其他金属物体，例
如回形针、硬币、钥匙、钉子、螺钉或其他小
金属物体，以防电池包一端与另一端连接。电
池组端部短路可能会引起燃烧或着火。
4)在滥用条件下，液体可能会从电池组中溅出；
应避免接触。如果意外碰到液体，用水冲洗。
如果液体碰到了眼睛，还应寻求医疗帮助。从
电池中溅出的液体可能会发生腐蚀或燃烧。
5)不要使用损坏或改装过的电池包或工具。损坏
或改装过的电池组可能呈现无法预测的结果，
导致着火、爆炸或伤害。
6)不要将电池包暴露于火或高温中。电池包暴露
于火或高于130 ℃的高温中可能导致爆炸。
f) 维修
1)让专业维修人员使用相同的备件维修电动工
具。这将保证所维修的电动工具的安全。
2)决不能维修损坏的电池包。电池包仅能由生产
者或其授权的维修服务商进行维修。
手持式草坪修整机、草坪修边机
安全警告：
当在切割器件可能触及暗线的场合进行操作时，
要通过绝缘握持面握持工具。切割器件碰到带电
电线会使工具金属零件成为带电从而使操作者受
到电击。
割灌机安全警告
1. 严谨操作者在疲劳、生病或在酒精或其它药物
的影响下使用割灌机。
2. 操作时要站稳脚跟保持平衡并使用随整机提供
的肩带。
3. 如果切割刀片有任何裂痕、缺口或损坏，请立
即更换。确保正确安装刀片并牢固固定。否则
可能会造成严重伤害。
4. 远离切割刀片。即使在电机停止后，切割刀片
仍将继续旋转几秒钟。在放下机器或进入切割
区域之前，请等待直到切割刀片完全停止。
5. 当不切割时关掉机器。无人看管时切勿让机器
运行。
6. 切割刀片的额定转速不能小于机器标识的主轴
最大转速。切割刀片运行的转速超过其额定转
速可能会导致破裂和飞离。
7. 不要在过于陡峭的斜坡上使用机器。
8. 务必使用双手操作机器。双手握住机器可避免
失控。
9. 在切割灌木和树苗时要格外小心。细长的材料
可能会抓住刀片并让你失去平衡。
10.机器运行时，使身体的所有部位远离切割刀
片。启动机器前确保切割刀片不接触任何东
西。操作机器时一时疏忽可能会对自己或他人
造成严重伤害。

a) 禁止拆卸、打开或切碎蓄电池组。
b) 禁止将电池组暴露在热源或火焰下。避免在阳
光直射下储存。
c) 禁止将电池组短路。不要将电池组随意搁置在
盒子或抽屉中以避免它们间相互短路或被其他
金属物体短路。
d) 禁止使电池组经受机械冲击。
e) 一旦电池泄漏，勿将泄漏出的液体直接接触皮
肤或眼睛。如果发生接触，应用大量水冲洗接
触部位并及时就医。
f) 不要使用非设备专用的充电器。
g) 不要使用非设备专用电池组。
h) 将电池组远离儿童。
i) 为设备购买合适的电池组。
j) 保持电池组清洁和干燥。
k) 如果电池组的极端变脏应使用清洁干燥的布擦
拭。
l) 蓄电池组在使用前应进行充电。充电时应使用
正确的充电器并参照制造商的说明或设备使用
手册中正确的说明充电。
m)不使用时不要将电池组长期充电。
n) 经长期储存后，需将电池组进行数次充放电循
环以获得最佳的性能。
o) 在常温(20℃±5℃)下使用蓄电池组的性能最
佳。
p) 保存好产品的原始说明书以备日后参考。
q) 电池组仅用于预期的用途。
r) 不使用时尽可能将蓄电池组取出。
s) 正确地处理电池组。

操作指南
警告！充电器与电池包须配套使用，禁止

1.砸动放线(见图I)
本机器配有砸动放线系统。操作时只需要向下砸
动打草头即可出线。
