Before installing and operating this unit, read this manual carefully.
SURFACE
This is a device for professional use and may only be used by persons who are aware of
the dangers of UV-C radiation and who are suciently familiar with the following safety
issues. This information can be found in the manual;
• Personal protective equipment
• Health and safety
• Use of the UV-C unit
• Hazard caused by unintentional exposure to UV-C in working areas
• First aid for UV-C exposure
WORKING
The device generates radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm by means of a UV-C lamp. This radiation
has an inactivating effect on bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi. The UV-C unit ensures an efficient and
environmentally friendly disinfected surface. The UV-C radiation inactivates bacteria, viruses and other
micro-organisms and thus prevents further reproduction. The UV-C unit is equipped with a built-in
electronic ballast. This ballast ensures optimum lamp performance. In addition, the irradiation hood
ensures safety and reflection of the UV-C radiation, increasing efficiency. Thanks to the UV-C unit, the
surface will be disinfected in an efficient and safe way.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This device generates harmful UV-C radiation. Direct contact is harmful to the eyes and skin. Check
the operation of the UV-C lamp only with protected equipment. Everyone involved in work on or
with the UV system must be aware of the dangers and harmfulness of UV-C radiation.
1. Warning: The use of this product is not suitable for children and/or persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the device by a person responsible for
their safety.
2. Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, replace damaged equipment immediately.
3. To reduce the risk of electric shock, the appliance must be handled with care. As experience
and knowledge are required, service activities should always be performed by an authorised/
recognised technician.
4. Never touch the device if it falls into water! Unplug the device from the power outlet. If the plug
and/or socket have also become wet, isolate the socket from the power supply before removing
the plug. Disconnect the connection cable before removing the unit from the water. Since
electrical components are damaged by water and therefore become unsafe, the device should
be presented to an authorised/recognised technician for inspection.
5. Do not switch on the unit if it has been dropped by transport or otherwise, if a production fault
exists or the device has been damaged by any other cause (this applies in particular to the UV-C
lamp!).
6. Always connect the device to an undamaged and earthed electrical socket equipped with a
residual current device.
7. Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use and/or during (cleaning) work. To remove the
plug from the wall socket, always pull on the plug itself. Never pull on the cable.
8. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not insert or unplug the power plug with wet hands and/
or while standing in water.
9. Never immerse all or parts of the unit in water or any other liquid.
10. The cable of the unit must not be shortened and/or directly connected without a plug. If the
cable is damaged, the entire unit must be handed over to authorised/recognised technicians.
Devices with cut/shortened cables are not covered by the warranty.
11. When the device is switched off, the light source will stay warm for at least ten minutes. Before
replacing a light source, check that it has cooled down sufficiently to prevent burns.
12. Use of the unit other than for its intended or developed purpose is not permitted. Using the
appliance other than for the purpose for which it was developed by the manufacturer may lead
to unsafe situations.
13. This device may only be operated in accordance with the guidelines described in this manual. In
addition, you must adhere to the instructions attached to the appliance.
14. Always wear protective gloves when handling or replacing the light source. This is to avoid
fingerprints on the glass.
15. Radiation from this UV lamp is dangerous for the eyes and skin. All persons involved must be
informed of the specific dangers associated with this UV-C system.

16. Always wear appropriate protective equipment against UV-C radiation, so that body parts and
eyes are not exposed to harmful UV-C radiation.
17. The casing of the Handheld and UV-C lamp remain warm for a long time after the device is
switched off. The cooling time is at least 10 minutes.
REACTION IN CASE OF UV EXPOSURE
Exposure to UV-C radiation can lead to serious injury. The harmfulness of UV radiation is not
immediately perceptible. The effects of exposure to UV radiation only become apparent later. When
exposed to UV radiation, the following actions are recommended.
• Treat skin injuries immediately.
• Consult a doctor in case of suspicion of eye damage.
PREPARING FOR USE
Perform the following steps to properly prepare the device for use:
1. Remove the unit from its packaging.
2. Put on the gloves provided. These gloves are for lamp protection and do not protect your
hands in case of glass breakage.
3. Remove the lamp from its packaging and insert the end without the contact pins into the lamp
holder with the spring. Press in the spring by pushing the lamp towards the rear. Insert the lamp
base into the socket and press all the way into the socket. Note, the lamp fits easily, but only in
one way, in the socket (Figure 1).
USING THE DEVICE
Perform the following steps to use the device correctly:
1. Take protective measures against UV-C radiation; this radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin.
Put on the face mask and keep the gloves on. Make sure that naked skin on the body, face and
head cannot be irradiated with UV-C.
2. Provide a safe environment for yourself and bystanders. Ensure that bystanders and pets cannot
be irradiated with UV-C.
3. Make sure that the device is switched off (Figure 5).
4. Insert the plug into a wall socket (Figure 2).
5. Aim the device at the surface to be irradiated. (Figure 4). At the start of the manual there is a
table with the indicated distance in combination with the irradiation duration. .

6. Switch the unit on by pressing the switch (Figure 3). The UV-C lamp should heat up for about 30
seconds for optimal effect (Figure 4)

7. Carefully irradiate the surface. Do this from top to bottom and from left to right, see the front
of the manual (how to use). Do not move the device too quickly over an object, see the graph
at the beginning of the manual to determine the distance and speed. We recommend using
a distance of 10 cm from the surface. Make sure that the objects are irradiated at different
angles. Shaded areas are not disinfected. A surface can be irradiated several times. (Prolonged)
exposure to UV-C radiation can damage products.
8. Switch off the device when you have finished disinfecting the surface (Figure 5).
PLEASE NOTE: the lamp and the unit can stay warm for a while (+/- 10 min). Make sure that
everything has cooled down before storing the unit (Figure 7).
REPLACING THE UVC LIGHT SOURCE
1. Make sure that the device is switched off (Figure 5) and the device is de-energised (Figure 6).
2. Make sure that the unit and lamp have cooled down (Figure 7).
3. Put on the gloves provided. These gloves are for lamp protection and do not protect your
hands against glass breakage.
4. Remove the lamp base from the socket. Press in the spring by pushing the lamp towards the
rear. Unpack the lamp and replace it if necessary (Figure 8).
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This product is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase.
The lamp is not included in the guarantee. Warranty cases can only be processed if the product is
returned carriage paid and accompanied by valid proof of purchase. Warranty claims caused by
installation or operating errors will not be acknowledged. Defects caused by faulty maintenance
are not covered by the warranty. Warranty repairs may only be carried out by the supplier. The
supplier and manufacturer cannot be held liable for consequential damage resulting from failure,
inadequate maintenance or incorrect use of the device. The warranty is void if additional features
are added, or changes are made, to the product that are not part of the standard equipment.

ARBEITSWEISE
Das Gerät erzeugt mittels einer UV-C-Lampe Strahlung mit einer Wellenlänge von 253,7 Nm. Diese
Strahlung hat eine inaktivierende Wirkung auf Bakterien, Viren, Algen und Pilze. Die UV-C-Einheit sorgt
für eine effiziente und umweltfreundliche Desinfektion der Oberfläche. Die UV-C-Strahlung inaktiviert
Bakterien, Viren und andere Mikroorganismen und verhindert so ihre weitere Vermehrung. Die UV-C-
Einheit ist mit einem eingebauten elektronischen Vorschaltgerät ausgestattet. Dieses Vorschaltgerät
gewährleistet eine optimale Leistung der Lampe. Darüber hinaus sorgt die Bestrahlungshaube für
Sicherheit und Reflexion der UV-C-Strahlung, was die Effizienz erhöht. Dank der UV-C-Einheit wird die
Oberfläche auf effiziente und sichere Weise desinfiziert.

SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Dieses Gerät erzeugt eine schädliche UV-C-Strahlung. Der direkte Kontakt ist schädlich für die Augen
und die Haut. Prüfen Sie den Betrieb der UV-C-Lampe nur mit angelegter Schutzausrüstung. Jeder,
der an Arbeiten an oder mit der UV-Anlage beteiligt ist, muss sich der Gefahren und Schädlichkeit
der UV-C-Strahlung bewusst sein.
1. Warnung: Die Verwendung dieses Produkts ist nicht geeignet für Kinder und/oder Personen
(einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und mangelndem Wissen, es sei denn, sie werden von
einer für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlichen Person beaufsichtigt oder in die Verwendung des
Geräts eingewiesen.
2. Warnung: Um das Risiko eines Stromschlags zu verringern, sind beschädigte Teile umgehend
zu ersetzen.
3. Um das Risiko eines Stromschlags zu verringern, muss das Gerät mit Vorsicht behandelt
werden. Da Erfahrung und Wissen erforderlich sind, sollten Servicetätigkeiten immer von einem
autorisierten/anerkannten Techniker durchgeführt werden.
4. Berühren Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn es ins Wasser fällt! Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des

Trennen Sie das Anschlusskabel ab, bevor Sie das Gerät aus dem Wasser nehmen. Da elektrische
Komponenten durch Wasser beschädigt und dadurch unsicher werden, sollte das Gerät einem
autorisierten/anerkannten Techniker zur Inspektion vorgelegt werden.
5. Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht ein, wenn es durch den Transport oder auf andere Weise
heruntergefallen ist, wenn ein Produktionsfehler vorliegt oder das Gerät durch eine andere
Ursache beschädigt wurde (dies gilt insbesondere für die UV-C-Lampe!).
6. Schließen Sie das Gerät immer an eine unbeschädigte und geerdete Steckdose mit Fehlerstrom-
Schutzeinrichtung an.
7. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist und/oder während
(Reinigungs-)Arbeiten. Um den Stecker aus der Wandsteckdose zu entfernen, ziehen Sie immer
am Stecker selbst. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel.
8. Um die Gefahr eines Stromschlags zu vermeiden, darf der Netzstecker nicht mit nassen Händen
und/oder im Wasser stehend eingesteckt oder herausgezogen werden.
9. Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals ganz oder teilweise in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit ein.
10. Das Kabel der Einheit darf nicht gekürzt und/oder direkt ohne Stecker angeschlossen werden.
Wenn das Kabel beschädigt ist, muss die gesamte Einheit an autorisierte/anerkannte Techniker
übergeben werden. Geräte mit abgeschnittenen/kurzgeschlossenen Kabeln sind von der
Garantie ausgenommen.
11. Wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet wurde, bleibt die Lichtquelle mindestens zehn Minuten lang
warm. Bevor Sie eine Lichtquelle austauschen, prüfen Sie, ob sie ausreichend abgekühlt ist, um
Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.
12. Die Verwendung der Einheit zu einem anderen als dem beabsichtigten oder entwickelten
Zweck ist nicht gestattet. Wenn das Gerät nicht für den Zweck verwendet wird, für den es vom
Hersteller entwickelt wurde, kann dies zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

13. Dieses Gerät darf nur in Übereinstimmung mit den in diesem Handbuch beschriebenen
Richtlinien betrieben werden. Darüber hinaus müssen Sie die dem Gerät beiliegenden
Anweisungen befolgen.
14. Bei der Handhabung oder dem Austausch der Lichtquelle stets Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
Dadurch sollen Fingerabdrücke auf dem Glas vermieden werden.
15. Die Strahlung dieser UV-Lampe ist gefährlich für die Augen und die Haut. Alle beteiligten
Personen müssen über die spezifischen Gefahren, die mit diesem UV-C-System verbunden sind,
informiert werden.
16. Tragen Sie stets eine geeignete Schutzausrüstung gegen die UV-C-Strahlung, damit Körperteile
und Augen nicht der schädlichen UV-C-Strahlung ausgesetzt sind.
17. Das Gehäuse des Handhelds und der UV-C-Lampe bleiben auch nach dem Ausschalten des
Gerätes noch lange warm. Die Abkühlzeit beträgt mindestens 10 Minuten.
REAKTION IM FALLE EINER AUSSETZUNG DER UVCSTRAHLUNG
Die Einwirkung von UV-C-Strahlung kann zu schweren Verletzungen führen. Die Schädlichkeit der
UV-Strahlung ist nicht unmittelbar wahrnehmbar. Die Auswirkungen der UV-Strahlen-Exposition
zeigen sich erst später. Im Fall einer UV-Strahlenbelastung werden folgende Maßnahmen
empfohlen:
Hautverletzungen sofort behandeln.
Konsultieren Sie bei Verdacht auf Augenschäden einen Arzt.
VORBEREITUNG FÜR DEN EINSATZ
Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um das Gerät ordnungsgemäß für den Gebrauch
vorzubereiten:
1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus seiner Verpackung.
2. Ziehen Sie die mitgelieferten Handschuhe an. Die Handschuhe dienen dem Schutz der Lampe
und schützen ihre Hände nicht bei Glasbruch.
3. Nehmen Sie die Lampe aus der Verpackung und führen Sie das Ende ohne die Kontaktstifte
mit der Feder in die Lampenfassung ein. Drücken Sie die Feder ein, indem Sie die Lampe nach
hinten drücken. Den Lampensockel in die Fassung einsetzen und bis zum Anschlag in die
Fassung drücken. Beachten Sie, dass die Lampe sich leicht einsetzen lässt, aber nur auf eine
Weise in die Fassung passt (Abbildung 1).

VERWENDUNG DES GERÄTS
Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um das Gerät korrekt zu verwenden:
1. Ergreifen Sie Schutzmaßnahmen gegen die UV-C-Strahlung; diese Strahlung ist schädlich für die
Augen und die Haut. Setzen Sie die Gesichtsmaske auf und behalten Sie die Handschuhe an.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die ausgesetzte Haut an Körper, Gesicht und Kopf nicht mit UV-C-Licht
bestrahlt werden kann.
2. Sorgen Sie für eine sichere Umgebung für sich selbst und umstehende Personen. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass umstehende Personen und Haustiere nicht mit UV-C-Licht bestrahlt werden können.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist (Abbildung 5).
4. Stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Wandsteckdose (Abbildung 2).
5. Richten Sie das Gerät auf die zu bestrahlende Oberfläche. Am Anfang des Handbuches befindet
sich eine Tabelle mit dem angegebenen Abstand in Kombination mit der Bestrahlungsdauer
(Abbildung 4).

6. Schalten Sie das Gerät durch Drücken des Schalters ein (Abbildung 3). Für eine optimale
Wirkung sollte sich die UV-C-Lampe etwa 30 Sekunden lang erwärmen (Abbildung 4).
7. Die Oberfläche vorsichtig bestrahlen. Gehen Sie von oben nach unten und von links nach
rechts vor; siehe vorne im Handbuch (Anwendung). Bewegen Sie das Gerät nicht zu schnell
über ein Objekt; siehe die Grafik vorne im Handbuch, um die Entfernung und Geschwindigkeit
zu bestimmen. Wir empfehlen, einen Abstand von 10 cm zur Oberfläche einzuhalten. Achten
Sie darauf, dass die Objekte in verschiedenen Winkeln bestrahlt werden. Schattierte Bereiche
werden nicht desinfiziert. Eine Oberfläche kann mehrfach bestrahlt werden. Die (längere)
Einwirkung von UV-C-Strahlung kann Produkte beschädigen.
8. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn Sie die Desinfektion der Oberfläche abgeschlossen haben
(Abbildung 5).
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Die Lampe und das Gerät können eine Weile warm bleiben (+/- 10
Minuten). Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie es lagern
(Abbildung 7).

ERSETZEN DER UVCLICHTQUELLE
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet (Abbildung 5) und das Gerät spannungsfrei
geschaltet ist (Abbildung 6).
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät und die Lampe abgekühlt sind (Abbildung 7).
3. Ziehen Sie die mitgelieferten Handschuhe an. Die Handschuhe dienen dem Schutz der Lampe
und schützen Ihre Hände nicht bei Glasbruch.
4. Entfernen Sie den Lampensockel aus der Fassung. Drücken Sie die Feder ein, indem Sie
die Lampe nach hinten drücken. Nehmen Sie die Lampe heraus und ersetzen Sie sie
gegebenenfalls (Abbildung 8).
GARANTIEBESTIMMUNGEN UND BEDINGUNGEN
Für dieses Produkt gilt eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum gegen Herstellungsfehler. Die Lampe
ist von der Garantie ausgenommen. Garantiefälle können nur bearbeitet werden, wenn das Produkt
frachtfrei zurückgeschickt wird und ein gültiger Kaufbeleg beiliegt. Gewährleistungsansprüche aufgrund
von Installations- oder Bedienungsfehlern werden nicht anerkannt. Defekte, die durch eine fehlerhafte
Wartung verursacht wurden, sind von der Garantie ausgenommen. Garantiereparaturen dürfen nur
vom Lieferanten durchgeführt werden. Der Lieferant und der Hersteller können nicht für Folgeschäden
haftbar gemacht werden, die durch Ausfall, unzureichende Wartung oder unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
des Geräts entstehen. Die Garantie erlischt, wenn dem Produkt zusätzliche Funktionen hinzugefügt oder
Änderungen am Produkt vorgenommen werden, die nicht zur Standardausrüstung gehören.

FONCTIONNEMENT
L’appareil génère un rayonnement d’une longueur d’onde de 253,7 nm au moyen d’une lampe UV-C.
Ce rayonnement a un effet inactivateur sur les bactéries, les virus, les algues et les champignons. L’unité
UV-C assure une désinfection efficace et écologique de la surface. Le rayonnement UV-C inactive les
bactéries, les virus et autres micro-organismes et empêche ainsi toute reproduction ultérieure. L’unité

NSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
Cet appareil génère des rayons UV-C nocifs. Le contact direct est nocif pour les yeux et la peau. Ne
vérifiez le fonctionnement de la lampe UV-C qu’avec un équipement protégé. Toutes les personnes
qui travaillent sur ou avec le système UV doivent être conscientes des dangers et de la nocivité du
rayonnement UV-C.
1. Avertissement: L’utilisation de ce produit ne convient pas aux enfants et/ou aux personnes (y
compris les enfants) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites ou qui
manquent d’expérience et de connaissances, à moins qu’ils ne soient supervisés ou instruits
dans l’utilisation de l’appareil par une personne responsable de leur sécurité.
2. Avertissement: Afin de réduire le risque de choc électrique, remplacez immédiatement un
câble endommagé.
3. Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, l’appareil doit être manipulé avec précaution.
L’expérience et les connaissances sont requises, les activités de service doivent donc toujours
être effectuées par un technicien autorisé/reconnu.
4. Ne touchez jamais l’appareil s’il tombe dans l’eau ! Débranchez l’appareil de la prise de courant.
Si la fiche et/ou la prise de courant sont également mouillées, isolez la prise de courant de
l’alimentation électrique avant de retirer la fiche. Débranchez le câble de raccordement avant
de retirer l’appareil de l’eau. Étant donné que les composants électriques sont endommagés
par l’eau et deviennent donc dangereux, l’appareil doit être présenté à un technicien autorisé/
reconnu pour inspection.
5. N’allumez pas l’appareil s’il a été abandonné en transport ou autrement, s’il y a un défaut de
fabrication ou si l’appareil a été endommagé par une autre cause (cela s’applique en particulier
à la lampe UV-C !).
6. Branchez toujours l’appareil sur une prise électrique non endommagée et mise à la terre,
équipée d’un dispositif de protection contre les courants résiduels.
7. Débranchez toujours l’appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé et/ou pendant les travaux (de
nettoyage). Pour retirer la fiche de la prise murale, il faut toujours tirer sur la fiche elle-même. Ne
tirez jamais sur le câble.
8. Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, n’insérez pas ou ne débranchez pas la fiche
d’alimentation avec les mains mouillées et/ou en restant debout dans l’eau.
9. Ne jamais immerger tout ou partie de l’appareil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.
10. Le câble de l’appareil ne doit pas être raccourci et/ou connecté directement sans prise. Si le
câble est endommagé, l’ensemble de l’appareil doit être remis à des techniciens autorisés/
reconnus. Les appareils dont les câbles sont coupés/court-circuités ne sont pas couverts par la
garantie.
11. Lorsque l’appareil est éteint, la source de lumière reste chaude pendant au moins dix minutes.
Avant de remplacer une source lumineuse, vérifiez qu’elle a suffisamment refroidi pour éviter
les brûlures.
12. L’utilisation de l’appareil à d’autres fins que celles prévues ou développées n’est pas autorisée.
L’utilisation de l’appareil à d’autres fins que celles pour lesquelles il a été conçu par le fabricant
peut entraîner des situations dangereuses.

13. Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que conformément aux directives décrites dans ce manuel. De
plus, vous devez respecter les instructions jointes à l’appareil.
14. Portez toujours des gants de protection lorsque vous manipulez ou remplacez la source de
lumière, afin d’éviter les empreintes digitales sur le verre.
15. Le rayonnement de cette lampe UV est dangereux pour les yeux et la peau. Toutes les
personnes concernées doivent être informées des dangers spécifiques liés à ce système UV-C.
16. Portez toujours un équipement de protection approprié contre les rayons UV-C, afin que les
parties du corps et les yeux ne soient pas exposés à des rayons UV-C nocifs.
17. Le boîtier de l’appareil portatif et la lampe UV-C restent chauds pendant longtemps après que
l’appareil a été éteint. Le temps de refroidissement est d’au moins 10 minutes.
RÉACTION EN CAS D’EXPOSITION AUX UV
L’exposition au rayonnement UV-C peut entraîner des blessures graves. La nocivité du rayonnement
UV n’est pas immédiatement perceptible. Les effets de l’exposition au rayonnement UV ne se
manifestent que plus tard. En cas d’exposition au rayonnement UV, les mesures suivantes sont
recommandées.
• Traitez immédiatement les blessures cutanées.
• Consultez un médecin en cas de suspicion de lésions oculaires.
PRÉPARATION À L’UTILISATION
Effectuez les étapes suivantes pour préparer correctement l’appareil à l’utilisation:
1. Retirez l’appareil de son emballage.
2. Mettez les gants fournis. Ces gants servent à protéger les lampes et ne protègent pas les mains
en cas de bris de verre.
3. Retirez la lampe de son emballage et insérez l’extrémité sans les broches de contact dans le
support de la lampe avec le ressort. Appuyez sur le ressort en poussant la lampe vers l’arrière.
Insérez le socle de la lampe dans la douille et appuyez à fond. Notez que la lampe s’insère
facilement, mais d’une seule manière, dans la douille (schéma 1).
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
Pour utiliser correctement l’appareil, suivez les étapes suivantes:
1. Prenez des mesures de protection contre le rayonnement UV-C, qui est nocif pour les yeux et
la peau. Mettez le masque facial et gardez les gants. Veillez à ce que la peau nue du corps, du
visage et de la tête ne puisse pas être irradiée par les UV-C.
2. Offrez un environnement sûr pour vous et les spectateurs. Veiller à ce que les passants et les
animaux de compagnie ne puissent pas être irradiés par les UV-C.
