Digital mp3 player
Thank you for your use of the digital MP3 player.
You will get introduction, method of application and system
setup relating to the product as well as all information coming
along with the safety cautions, which will help you make better
use of the functions of the product.
In case any problem arises during the service of the product,
which you cannot tackle, dial our hotline number.

1. During the purchase, check if the following accompanying

Use of power supply
This unit is powered by builtin lithium battery at a7V and
250mA. The player allows charging by direct insertion into
the USB jack of the computer or through the charger pro
vided. The charging duration required is about 45 hours.
Note: This unit does not play in the process of charging For
the battery of the unit, min. 12 hours is required for the first
charging.

Cautions
1. For proper operation of the unit and prevention against
accidents, never subject it at places with high temperature,
severe cold or high humidity or close to fire and likely to be
affected by rains.
2. With the fine workmanship In this unit, never attempting to
dismantle the unit in case of problems arising from the
service, please contact our aftersales department.
3. For your personal safety, never use earphones for listening
while driving cars or other vehicles. In particular, pay spe
cial attention to the traffic safety when crossing roads.
Remove the earphones if necessary.
4. To prevent damage to the hearing, it is recommended that
the volume be tuned down to the minimum before listening
to the music and then tuned up gradually depending on the
actual conditions during the listening to satisfy personal
needs.

Overview
Function block diagram
Universal functions of product:
Supporting the play of music files and recording files in up
to 99 subfolders at one level.
Supporting the identification of up to 99 recording files
under each folder.
Supporting the deletion of one or all song (or recording)
files in the current folder.
Poweroff memory function: allowing the restoration of the
various states before poweroff after switching the power
on, including memory of the number of song or position of
the recording.

Play resumption at interrupted point: allowing memory of
the play position when the play is interrupted. When the
power is switched off while a song under a folder is being
played, the unit stops at the point of time when the power is
switched on. Start the Play and the play starts from this
point.

Key, Rest and Port
1. Definition of key functions (7 keys in total):
PLAY/PAUSE: Poweron/off, play, pause and stop.
MODE: switching between operating modes, options of
menu and interfaces
NEXT: next item, fast forward
PREV: previous item, fast rewind.
VOL+: volume increase/next folder
VOL: volume decrease/previous folder
: Special hotkey for AB/recording
2. USB miniport and 1 standard jack for earphones.
Description of keypressing modes
Keypressing modes include short press, long press and hold.
Short press:
In the case of combined short/long press, release the key
to enable the setting; till the release time <=1,2s; (Play,
Stop; previous song and next song);
In the case of short press alone, there is only one response
to the key frompressing to release without time limit.
Long press:
Press the key tor >1.2s to enable the setting. (Power
on/off. Fast forward/rewind).

Hold: During the period from pressing to release, there are
multiple responses to the key at certain frequency, (tuning
the volume)
Hotkey recording function for REC key
For REC key, the hotkey recording function applies to all
interfaces but VOICE and MUSIC play interface, repeat
interface, upgrading interface and Udisc interface. Simply
press the REC key shortly to enter RECORD and recording
starts.
Shortcut function for MODE key
In MUSIC, RECORD, VOICE, FM, SYSTEM and IMAGE,
unless otherwise noted or in some inapplicable cases,
press the MODE key long to stop the current operation and
return to the main menu.

Note: The standard menu provides a menu selection interface,
which is subject to frequent use in the interfaces of the indi
vidual modules. At each entry,

Max. 4 items for each screen. In case of less than 4 items,
they are displayed at the top.
The item with blue background is the active item.
Pressing Mode key enables selecting and entering that
option.
Pressing PLAY/PAUSE key enables exiting from that option.

Key function
Press NEXT shortly or long and the blue background steps
down and when it reaches the bottom, the next screen
shows up until the last screen.
Further pressing leads back to the first screen.
Press PREV shortly or long and it works contrary to NEXT.
Press MODE shortly and select the active icon to execute
the function relevant to the selected option.
Press AB shortly to enter the recording mode and record
ing starts.
Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to exit from the menu.
VOL+/VOL disabled.
Idlesse for 5s leads to automatic exit from the functions.

Each circle represents a mode. Only the colored one in the
middle allows entry.
Key function
Press NEXT shortly or long and all circles move gradually
leftward. Press PREV shortly or long and repeat of position

Press MODE shortly to confirm and enter this function.
Poweron and off
Power off
Press PLAY/PAUSE key long to switch off the power.
The system automatically switches off when it lays idle for
the period set by users. When the system USB port is con
nected to PC, this function is disabled.
Power on
The system switches on when users press the PLAY key
long.
Low power in battery
When battery is low in power, the system automatically
switches off to enter the Standby state.

Press MODE key long to enter the main menu.
Press MODE key shortly to enter the Stop menu interface.
Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to play MUSIC.
If the current file is an illegal music file, a prompt "Format
Error" appears followed by return after 2s.

Hold NEXT key and the repeat switches to the next song in
the current folder and the position for music time clears.
In case of illegal music file, "00:00:00" is displayed at the
total time of file.
Hold PREV key and it works contrary to the NEXT key.
Press VOL+/VOLkey shortly to tune up and down the volume.
Press REC key shortly to switch to the recording interface
and recording
3. Stop menu interface.
Note: Here, it allows the selection of local folder, Delete and
Exit. When you enter the interface, the active position is the
one where you left last time.

Folder selection interface
Note: This is where users select effective folders (Folder
including Music files) to change the current folder in play.
To enter this interface, set it at the current disc and current
folder.

The displayed is a longname of folder. Only effective folders
are displayed in addition to root folder.
Key function
Press NEXT shortly or long and the selecting bar switches
to the next folder gradually, which scrolls by 2 lines.
Press PREV shortly or long and the selecting bar switches
to the previous folder gradually, which scrolls by 2 lines.
Press MODE shortly, select that folder and return to the
Stop interface.
Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to return to the Stop inter
face.

Description of play interface function
1. In the Play interface, information relating to current melody
is displayed and play of melodies starts.

Press MODE key shortly to enter the Play menu interface.
Press MODE key long: if relevant words of song are avail
able, it enters the wordsofsong interface. If they are not
available, it stops play and enters the main menu.
Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to enter the Stop interface.
Press NEXT key long: This is the fast forward function,
which moves till the end of a melody.
Press PREV key long: This is the fast rewind function, which
moves till the beginning of a melody.
Press NEXT key shortly and the music fades out in 2s. It
jumps to the next melody and plays. Now, the next one is
selected based on the current play mode. When the current
play mode is Repeat One, the next melody selected based
on the Repeat All mode. Press PREV key shortly and it
works contrary to NEXT. Hold VOL+ key to the volume
increases.
Hold VOL key to enter the volume setting interface and the
volume decreases.

Press REC key shortly to enter the Repeat interface and
Point A is confirmed.
4. Illegal file treatment
In case of illegal file during auto or manual melody selec
tion, a prompt of "Format/Error" is shown. After 2s, it
returns to the Stop interface.
5. Repeat setting interface
Note: This is where Repeat is selected for playing music.
Now, the music is still being played.

List of Repeat options
(Normal): when melodies in the current are played, it con
tinues to D play the melodies in the next folder
(Repeat One): repeat play of the current melody.
(Folder): when current melody is played, play stops.
(Repeat Folder): repeat play of melodies in this folder. C5
(Repeat All): repeat play of melodies in all folders.
(Random): random play of melodies in current folder.
(Intro): play in sequence of the first 10s of all melodies in
current folder.

7. Equalizer setting interface
Note: This is where Equalizer is selected for playing music.
Now, the music is still being played.

The display mode is same as in Repeat setting.
List of Equalizer options:
Natural (default)

Jazz
DBB
Replay interface
Note: This is where users conduct manual or auto replay. The
type of replay is set in the SYSTEM. The Replay times and
Replay pause are set in the Play menu interface.

In the manual replay mode, "A" in " " flickers. Press

NEXT or REC key shortly, set properly Point A and "B" flick
ers. Set properly Point B, fix "A" and "B" and the sound
between Points A and B is repeatedly played. Press NEXT
key shortly and you have the display of FollowRepeat, i.e.
the cycle of follow > repeat.
Press NEXT key shortly to return to Point A, and wait for the
setting of the next Repeat.
In all the above steps, holding VOL+/VOL means Change
Stepping, which changes the current tempo rate, (except in
WMA)
Auto Repeat process
In the Auto Repeat process, "A" in flickers.
Press NEXT/ REC key shortly, set properly Point "A" and
Point "B" flickers.
At a space or where a break is possible or press NEXT/ REC
key shortly, repeat is displayed and the sound
between Points A and B is played repeatedly.
8. Variable Speed setting interface
Note: This is where the current tempo rate is set, which is
effective to the play of MP3 music and ineffective to WMA.

Key function
At the interface as shown in the figure above, pressing
NEXT or PREV adjusts the Tempo Rate. Pressing MODE key
is to enter.
9. Repeat times
Note: Select the Repeat times, which leads to automatic
exit when the set Repeat times are performed. The range is
110 times.

10. Repeat interval
Note: Select the Repeat interval so that there is a pause at
the interval each time during the Repeat. The intervals vary
from 110s.

Press NEXT adjusts the time interval.

Description of song words play interface
1. General: At the songwords play interface, the current

melody continues to be played while the relevant song
words are displayed according to the play progress. When
the play completes, set the function to enter the play of
subsequent melodies in line with the play mode. If the song
words are available in the subsequent melodies, the song
words play interface remains. If they are not available, it
returns to the Play interface to play the subsequent
melodies.

Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to exit the songwords inter
face and enter the Stop interface.
Press Next key long: This is the fast forward function. It dis
plays till the end of a melody.
REC key is disabled.
Anomaly processing
In case of reading error during play, it suspends the voice
play with a prompt of "Disk error!"
When the FollowRepeat record space is insufficient or root
folder overflows with files, a prompt of "Overflow" is given
before returning to Repeat.

VOICE
VOICE provides the play of *.WAV files and *.ACT files and
includes Stop interface, Play interface, Folder selection
interface, Delete interface, and Function selection and set
ting interface.
Description of Stop interface function

Press PLAY/PAUSE key shortly to start play.
Press PREV key long to repeatswitch to the previous
recording file.
Press NEXT key shortly to switch to a recording file of the
current folder.
Press REC key shortly to switch to RECORD mode and
recording starts.

Note: This is where Local folder, Delete and Exit are selected.
