Removing the Hard Drive
1. First, you will turn off the power to your Posiflex terminal. Tilted the Posiflex terminal
back and unplug power cable.

2. In the front part of your Posiflex terminal, there is a plastic plate; you will remove plastic
plate to expose the hard drive. Press down on the clip release and remove plastic plate.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the single screw.

4. Pull down on the metal bar and slide hard drive tray out.

5. Unscrew all four screws and remove hard drive.

Placing Hard Drive Directly into Posiflex Screen
1. Remove Base Terminal stand by pressing plastic clip, located on the backside of your
terminal. Hold the clip, place other hand on the terminals front side of your Posiflex
touch screen and lift screen up.

2. Place your Posiflex touch screen on a flat clean surface. Disconnect hard drive power and
sata cables.
3. Top right hand corner of the terminal, there are two screws you will remove, then take
plastic plate off. The hard drive will be placed into here.

4. Once plastic plate is removed, you will see two cables, hard drive power and sata cable.
