Place structure No. 2 on structure No.
1, securing them with 2 Screws A) and
2 Nuts B) at the holes.
Fix the xCam in its place by matching
the holes and secure it with gasket
C) between screw A) and nut B) as
shown.

Close the rst side by tting the tab of
frame no. 2 into the dedicated slot of
frame no. 1
Follow the fold of structure no. 1 by
bending it back on itself to match
the other 2 holes and secure the 2
structures with 2 Screws A) and 2 Nuts

After inserting the sticky sheet, the xTrap can
be closed in the same way as in step 2.
Before closing the xTrap, insert the sticky
sheet inside after removing the protective
paper.

The xTrap can be hung between
the rows of crops to be monitored
using simple ties as in the picture.

Assembly and installation guide: Pole mount kit
1x pole mount steel ange
4x UV resistant cable ties 30x5mm
2x blind screws 5x5mm (female + male screws)
2x O-ring 6x1.5mm
1. Insert the O-ring on the female blind
screw.
2. Insert the female blind screw on the
bottom of the ange.
3. Align the ange to the delta structure,
camera cable should face to the pole
4. Close the pole mount using the male
blind screws from inside of the delta
structure.
5. Use the cable ties to hang the delta
structure to the pole.

Place 1 sticky sheet on the frame
in front of the chamber and
secure it with kit D), ensuring that
the washers hold the sticky sheet
rmly in place.

Use common cable ties to attach the xTrap
Colour to the pole, but BE CAREFUL not
to pull them excessively by bending the
xCam bracket as this could compromise
the quality of the photos

Pass the ambient probe through the
central hole in the bracket before
placing it on the sun shield
Screw nuts B) to the sun shield as a
base for the mounting bracket.
Insert the probe into the cable gland
and then tighten the shield cable
gland until the seal adheres to the
probe.

Tighten nuts B) to secure the bracket to

Before xing xNode it will be necessary to place it in the xFarm App.
There are 2 ways to do this:
Or scan the QR code from your smartphone
Search for XFARM in the App Store or Google Play Store
METHOD 1 - QR Code
Scan the QR code on the back of the
device.
METHOD 2 - Serial Number
Enter the serial number found on the
back of the device manually in the
app.
Download the xFarm app to create your account and connect traps

Search for XFARM in the App Store or Google Play Store
In the menu select Scan The camera will activate
and recognise the QR code
Complete all data and tap
Create Sensor

Fix the xNode at a height of no less
than 1.5 metres, above the crops and
with the photovoltaic panel facing
south.
Complete the installation by switching
on the xNode:
press the button on the side of the
device so that it remains pressed.
The LED light will remain on until it is
connected to the network, then it will
switch itself off.
If the connection fails, repeat the
operation by switching the xNode off
and on again after a few seconds.
Press once and
wait 2-3 seconds
for the LED to
start ashing.
