This is a step-by-step user’s guideline to synchronize users’ contacts from
Smartphone to XOR X2.

3.1. Installaon on Smartphone

3.2. Detailed Instrucons
Important notes:
• During the process of contact download and synchronizaon, XOR and
smartphone require stable internet connecon.
• Smart Transfer is now available on all OS versions.
• Export Contact funcon will be available for OS versions from 194 onward.
• Latest soware update is advised.

3.2.2. Grant access
When selecng “Transfer Contacts”, a pop-up shows to ask to grant access
to the users’ contacts.
Choose “OK” to
grant the App to
access contacts.
Choose “Don’t
Allow” to reject
access to contacts.
Connue with
“OK” to enter
the verificaon
code.
At this step,
user selects
“OK” to allow
access to con-
nue with the
App.

On XOR X2, select Contacts -> Add new -> Smart Transfer

3.2.5. Download contacts
3.2.4. Adopt the verificaon code
Aer allowing access to user’s contacts in Figure 6,
enter the verificaon code on the screen. Each code
is valid for 5 minutes.
Enter 8 digits of verificaon code:
• If the code is accurate, move to the next step of the
synchonizing contacts.
• If the code is entered inaccurately, the message
“You have entered wrong verificaon code.
Please try again” will display, and ask user to
re-enter the code.
If the verificaon code is entered inaccurately,
the user will have to start over the process.
User should ensure the stability of internet
connecon on both XOR X2 and smartphone
before and during the uploading process. In case
the network is unstable, the upload progress will
be broken and you will have to start over again.
Aer the progress of encrypon and upload to the server
have been done successfully, “Uploaded successfully”
message will display on screen. The screen shows 10-minute
mer corresponding to the me the contacts remain on the
server. Within 10 minutes, the data will be deleted from the
server.

3.2.6. Download, decrypt and import contacts to XOR X2
• Aer contacts on smartphone are uploaded successfully to the server,
select OK to start the download, decrypt, and import progress on XOR X2.
• Aer contacts are imported successfully, the screen will show a
noficaon of total contacts have been done.
