2. Package content
To get the most of your speaker system, please take a few minutes to read
the following instructions and familiarize yourself with the operation of the unit.
Before setting up the device, make sure that the following items are included

original packing materials, in case you wish to store the unit, or if you ever
need to return it for service.

Media panel controls
1. Mode selector: briefly press to cycle through the available input modes: BT
> USB > TF > Tuner > Line.
Note: all sources need to be connected to follow this sequence. When a
source is not connected, it will not be recognized as an input source on
the display.

4. Initial setup
Charging the battery
• When the unit is not in use or switched off, it will automatically recharge the
internal battery as long as it remains connected to a standard DC5V/1A USB
port. The charge LED lights up.
• When the icon flashes on the screen, it means that the battery needs to
be recharged.
• The unit will shut down automatically when voltage level drops below 3.0V.
The Off indication will come up in this case.
• During charging, the icon will be displayed on the screen. When the
battery reaches full capacity, the icon will become illuminated.
• Turn off the loudspeaker when not in use to conserve battery life.
5. Advanced operation
Pairing the speaker with wireless devices
Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device is
compatible with Bluetooth®.
1. Turn the power switch on located on the back of the unit. HI will appear
on the screen.
2. Enable the Bluetooth®feature on your audio device and set it to discover
the wireless speaker.
3. Remember to place your wireless device and the speaker not more than
one meter away from each other.
4. Next, cycle to the Bluetooth®feature on the speaker by pressing the
MODE button found on the media panel and select it as the input source.
The dot next to the bt symbol blinks fast on the display accompanied by a
short tone to indicate that the speaker has entered into the pairing mode.
5. Once the speaker appears listed under the newly found Bluetooth®devices
(XTS-700) of your wireless device, it will ask if you want to pair with it.
6. Accept by pressing Yes or Ok. If you have a lower Bluetooth®version,
you may be prompted to enter the passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
7. When pairing is successful, another tone will be heard through the
speaker making the dot blink slowly. If after 60 seconds the pairing process
fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 described above.
8. You can now start streaming audio through the speaker wirelessly from
your favorite Bluetooth®-enabled devices.
9. To reset the Bluetooth®feature, press and hold the button for
several seconds. The Bluetooth®function will be disconnected.
10. The speaker will re-pair automatically with memorized devices after
being turn off and on again.
How to use the recording feature
1. First, make sure to have a microphone connected and a compatible
memory card or USB drive inserted on the back panel in order to activate
the recording feature.
2. After selecting the mode where you want to save your recording
(micro-SD™ or USB), press and hold the REC button around 5 seconds.
The timer will appear on the screen when the recorder is activated.
3. Start recording, and when finished, press briefly the REC button once
again to stop recording.
4. To listen to your recording, briefly press the Play/Pause button.
5. To delete a recording, select the track you wish to eliminate. Press and
hold the Play/Pause button until delete appears on the screen.
Tuner mode operation
Recommendation: A 3.5mm cable can be plugged for better signal
reception.
1. First, press the MODE button briefly to select the tuner.
2. Next, press the Play/Pause button to start searching for active
channels.
3. Detected frequencies will be saved automatically in memory as CH-01
through 50.
4. To tune your saved frequencies, briefly press the tuner – and
tuner + buttons on the media panel.
5. If you want to manually switch frequencies, briefly press the CH button,
followed by the tuner – and tuner + buttons to scan the band in a
downward or upward direction.

Special features
1. CH/ button: Toggles between channel selection and player mode
selection in SD™ and USB modes:
All: plays all tracks in folder
One: repeats track being played
AND: shuffles the track order
2. Echo/EQ button:
• Enables the reverberation effect of the microphone. In this mode press
the to adjust the echo volume.
• In playback mode, briefly press this button to scroll through the
equalizer sound effects:

2. Contenido del empaque
Para aprovechar al máximo este sistema de parlantes, haga el favor de
tomarse unos minutos para leer las siguientes instrucciones y familiarizarse
con el funcionamiento de la unidad. Antes de conectar el dispositivo, verifique
que los artículos a continuación hayan sido incluidos en el empaque:

Retire cuidadosamente el contenido de la caja. Es recomendable que

Controles para el panel de medios
1. Selector de modo: Oprima brevemente este botón para alternar entre

4. Configuración inicial
Carga de la batería
• Cuando la unidad no está en uso o está apagada, la batería interna se
recargará automáticamente siempre y cuando permanezca conectada al
puerto USB estándar DC5V/1A. Las luces LED de carga se iluminan.
• Cuando el ícono parpadea en la pantalla, significa que la batería
necesita ser recargada.
• La unidad se apagará automáticamente cuando el nivel de voltaje se
encuentre por debajo de 3,0V. La indicación OFF (Apagado) aparecerá en
este caso.
• Mientras se carga, el ícono aparecerá en la pantalla. Cuando la batería
haya alcanzado el nivel de carga plena, el ícono se iluminará.
• Le recomendamos apagar el altoparlante cuando no lo esté usando para
conservar la energía de la batería.
5. Funcionamiento avanzado
Cómo emparejar el parlante con dispositivos inalámbricos
Nota: Antes de instalar este producto, debe asegurarse de que su dispositivo
sea compatible con Bluetooth®.
1. Encienda el botón de conexión ubicado en la parte posterior de la unidad.
La palabra HI (Hola) aparecerá desplegada en la pantalla.
2. Habilite la función Bluetooth®en su dispositivo de audio y prográmelo
para detectar el altoparlante inalámbrico.
3. Recuerde colocar su dispositivo inalámbrico y el parlante a no más de un
metro de distancia entre sí.
4. Luego, busque la función Bluetooth®en el parlante presionando el botón
de MODO que se encuentra en el panel de medios y elíjalo como la fuente
de entrada. El punto ubicado al lado del símbolo bt parpadea rápidamente
en la pantalla acompañado por un tono breve que indica que el parlante ha
entrado en el modo de emparejamiento.
5. Cuando el parlante aparece en la lista de dispositivos Bluetooth®
(XTS-700), recién detectados de su dispositivo inalámbrico, le preguntará si
desea integrarlo al sistema.
6. Pulse Sí u Ok para aceptar. En caso de contar con una versión Bluetooth®
inferior, es posible que se le pida ingresar la clave 0000 (4 ceros).
7. Cuando el proceso de emparejamiento concluye satisfactoriamente, se
escuchará otro tono a través del parlante que hace que el punto parpadee
lentamente. Si después de un intervalo de 60 segundos no logra
emparejar el dispositivo, repita los pasos del 1 al 6 del procedimiento
anterior.
8. Ahora puede comenzar a reproducir música en forma inalámbrica
desde sus dispositivos con tecnología Bluetooth®.
9. Para volver a configurar la función Bluetooth®, mantenga oprimido unos
segundos el botón de . La función Bluetooth®quedará desconectada.
10. El parlante se volverá a emparejar automáticamente con los
dispositivos que están en la memoria cuando vuelva a encenderse
después de haber sido desconectado.
Cómo usar la función de grabación
1. En primer lugar, asegúrese de que haya un micrófono conectado y una
tarjeta de memoria compatible o unidad USB insertada en la parte
posterior del panel para activar la función de grabación.
2. Después de seleccionar el modo en el que desea guardar la grabación
(micro-SD™ o USB), mantenga oprimido el botón REC (GRABAR)
durante aproximadamente 5 segundos. El indicador de tiempo aparecerá
en la pantalla cuando se active esta función.
3. Comience la grabación y cuando haya finalizado presione brevemente
el botón REC (GRABAR) una vez más para detener la grabación.
4. Para escuchar la grabación, presione brevemente el botón Play/Pause
(Reproducción/Pausa).
5. Para borrar una grabación, elija la pista que desea eliminar. Mantenga
oprimido el botón Reproducción/Pausa hasta que aparezca
delete (borrar) en la pantalla.
Modalidad de operación de sintonizador
Recomendación: Se puede conectar un cable de 3,5mm para obtener
una mejor señal.
1. Primero, presione brevemente el botón de MODO para elegir el
sintonizador.
2. A continuación, presione el botón Reproducción/Pausa para
comenzar a buscar canales activos.
3. Las frecuencias detectadas serán guardadas automáticamente en la
memoria como CH-01 a 50.

4. Para sintonizar las frecuencias guardadas, oprima brevemente los
botones sintonizador - y sintonizador + en el panel de medios.
5. Si desea cambiar frecuencias en forma manual, presione brevemente el
botón CH, seguido de los botones de sintonizador - y sintonizador + para
escanear la banda en dirección ascendente o descendente.
Funciones especiales
1. Botón CH/ : Alterna entre la selección de canales y la selección de
modo de reproductor en los modos SD™ y USB:
Todas: reproduce todas las pistas de la carpeta
Una: repite la pista que se está reproduciendo
Y: alterna el orden de la pista
2. Botón Eco/EQ: :
• Activa el efecto de reverberación del micrófono. En este modo oprima
para ajustar el volumen del eco.
• En el modo de reproducción, oprima brevemente este botón para
desplazarse por los efectos de sonido del ecualizador:
