I. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Xtech SUONO portable speaker with
Bluetooth® wireless technology. We encourage you to read this user’s
guide thoroughly to get the most out of this wireless portable audio device.

II. Main features

III. Product components
1. Volume down:
a. Press this button shortly to reduce the volume.
b. Press and hold to go to the previous song.
2. Play/pause button:
a. Press it shortly to play or pause a song.
b. Press and hold it to turn on or off the lights.
In hands-free phone mode:
a. When the speaker is in Bluetooth® mode, press this button to answer and end a call.
b. Press and hold this button to reject an incoming call.
c. Press it twice to dial the last number called (on supported devices).

3. Volume up:
a. Press this button shortly to increase the volume.
b. Press and hold to go to the next song.
4. Power/mode button:
a. Press and hold the circular button to turn the speaker on/off or to
connect to Bluetooth® mode.
A voice will indicate your speaker has been paired to a wireless device.
Note: The unit will shut off after approximately ten minutes of inactivity if
it's not connected to the Bluetooth® device. An audible voice will
indicate when the speaker has paired with your smart device or when
it's been disconnected.
b. Press it shortly to toggle through the different light options.
c. Click it twice to select a mode: Aux, USB drive, microSD™
card or Bluetooth.
5. USB port:
Use it to play audio files stored in a USB flash drive.
6. Auxiliary input port:
Allows the connection of any device equipped with an auxiliary 3.5mm
audio connector (for wired playback).
7. DC 5V micro-USB charging port:
Charges the speaker’s built-in battery.
8. microSD™ memory card port:
Allows music playback from compatible media files stored in a
microSD™ memory card.
9. Microphone.
IV. Charging the speaker
• To charge the battery, first plug the micro-USB end of the supplied charging
cable in the speaker charging port, and the other end in the USB port of your
computer or AC adapter.
• The battery will take about 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge.
• While charging, the LED light indicator (located in the rear connection panel)
will blink in alternating red and blue colors if the speaker is on. If it’s off, the
light will turn red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED light will turn off.
Note: Make sure that your SUONO speaker is fully charged before using it for
the first time.
V. Pairing your speaker with a Bluetooth®compatible device
Please, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the speaker is off.
2. Set your Bluetooth® phone to “discover” compatible devices.
3. Place both devices not more than three feet away from each other.
4. Turn ON the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button. The blue LED
starts blinking, accompanied by a short tone, to indicate that the device has
entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable.
5. On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (XTS-616)
displayed in the Bluetooth® list.
6. If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter the
passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
7. If pairing is successful, you’ll hear a voice that says “connected” and the LED
will turn solid blue. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat
steps 1 through 6 described above.

Using the speaker to answer and end a call
• If you get a call, the speaker will produce a ringtone as an alert.
• Briefly press the Play/pause button to pick up. You may also press the
answer button on your phone to take the call using the speaker.
• To end a call, press the Play/pause button once again. Likewise, you
may also end the call directly using the command on your cell phone.
• When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will resume
automatically once the call has ended.
• By pressing the Play/pause button twice, the phone will redial the last
number called (on supported devices).
• Press and hold the Play/pause button for about 2 second to send a call
to voice mail.
VI. Auxiliary mode operation
a. First, connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm cable to the auxiliary port
on the speaker and the other end of the cable to the source of choice.
b. Turn on the speaker as it was previously instructed and adjust the volume
to your desired level.
c. Press the Power/mode button twice to switch to Auxiliary-in mode.
d. Start streaming audio files directly from the source of choice.
e. The speaker will remain in this mode until the Power/mode button
is pressed twice to change to the mode of choice or until the
3.5mm cable is disconnected.
Once disconnected, the speaker will switch to Bluetooth® mode.
VII. Micro SD™/USB mode operation
Recommendation: Use a USB flash drive or microSD™ card to enable
audio playback from compatible files stored in this type of devices.
a. First, connect a USB flash drive or MicroSD™ card to the corresponding
port of the speaker.
b. The speaker will automatically detect the USB flash drive or microSD™
device and play the audio file. If the devices are not automatically
detected, press the Power/mode button twice to toggle through
the different modes available until you find the one you are looking for.
c. Start streaming audio files directly from the source of choice.
d. As soon as the microSD™/USB devices are disconnected, the speaker
will automatically enter the Bluetooth® mode.
VIII. TWS operation
a. When both speakers are in Bluetooth® search mode, double-click the
power button on both speakers to enter the TWS mode.
b. After hearing the prompt, both machines start to pair.
c. When connection is successful, the secondary unit's blue light stays
on and the host unit continues to search until pairing is complete.
d. To revert back from TWS mode, double click the power button again.

VIII. Technical specifications
* Range estimate is based on an area free and clear of obstacles and interference,

I. Introducción

II. Características principales
• Parlante portátil con tecnología Bluetooth® V.5.0 y micrófono incorporado,
para conversaciones a manos libres.
• Transmite música de forma inalámbrica desde una distancia de hasta 10
metros de la fuente de audio

1. Botón de signo menos (-):
a. Presiona este botón brevemente para reducir el volumen.
b. Mantenlo presionado para ir a la canción anterior.
2. Botón triangular:
a. Presiónalo brevemente para reproducir o pausar una canción.
b. Mantenlo presionado para encender o apagar las luces.
En modo de manos libres:
a. Cuando el parlante esté en modo Bluetooth®, presiona este botón para
responder y finalizar una llamada.
b. Mantenlo presionado si deseas rechazar una llamada entrante.
c. Presiónalo dos veces para marcar el último número al que llamaste
(solo en dispositivos compatibles).

3. Botón de signo más (+):
a. Presiona este botón brevemente para aumentar el volumen.
b. Mantenlo presionado para ir a la siguiente canción.
4. Botón circular de encendido/modo:
a. Mantén presionado este botón para encender o apagar el parlante,
o para conectarlo al modo Bluetooth®. Una voz indicará que tu parlante
se ha emparejado con un dispositivo inalámbrico.
Nota: La unidad se apagará después de unos diez minutos de
inactividad si no está conectada al dispositivo Bluetooth®. Una voz
indicará cuándo el parlante se ha emparejado con su dispositivo
inteligente o cuándo se ha desconectado.
b. Presiónalo brevemente para alternar entre las diferentes opciones
de luces.
c. Presiónalo dos veces para seleccionar uno de los modos disponibles:
Aux, unidad USB, tarjeta microSD™ o Bluetooth®.
5. Puerto USB:
Úsalo para reproducir archivos de audio almacenados en una unidad USB.
6. Puerto de entrada auxiliar:
Permite la conexión de cualquier dispositivo equipado con un conector
de audio auxiliar de 3,5 mm.
7. Puerto de carga micro USB:
Conecta aquí el cable USB incluido con el parlante para cargar su batería.
8. Puerto para tarjeta de memoria microSD™:
Permite la reproducción de música desde archivos multimedia
compatibles almacenados en una tarjeta de memoria microSD™.

IV. Cómo cargar el parlante
• Para cargar la batería, primero conecta el extremo micro-USB del cable de
carga (incluido con el producto) en el puerto de carga y el otro extremo en el
puerto USB de tu computadora o adaptador de corriente.
• La batería tardará unas 2 horas y 40 minutos en cargarse por completo.
• Mientras se carga, el indicador de luz LED (ubicado en el panel de conexiones
posterior) parpadeará alternando los colores rojo y azul si el parlante está
encendido. Si está apagado, la luz se pondrá roja durante la carga. Cuando la
batería esté completamente cargada, se apagará la luz LED.
Nota: Asegúrate de que tu parlante SUONO esté completamente cargado
antes de usarlo por primera vez.
V. Cómo emparejar tu parlante con un dispositivo compatible con Bluetooth®
Sigue estos pasos:
1. Asegúrate de que el parlante esté apagado.
2. Configura tu teléfono para que pueda “descubrir” dispositivos compatibles
con Bluetooth®.
3. Coloca ambos dispositivos a no más de un metro de distancia entre sí.
4. Enciende el parlante manteniendo presionado el botón de encendido. Una luz
LED azul comenzará a parpadear y sonará un tono breve para indicar que el
dispositivo está en modo de emparejamiento y listo para ser detectado.
5. En tu teléfono móvil, presiona el nombre del parlante recién descubierto
(XTS-616) que aparece en la lista de Bluetooth®.
6.Si tienes una versión inferior de Bluetooth®, es posible que el parlante te pida
que ingreses la clave de acceso “0000” (4 ceros).
7. Si el emparejamiento es exitoso, escucharás una voz que dice "conectado" y
la luz LED se iluminará en color azul fijo. Si después de 60 segundos, falla el
proceso de emparejamiento, repite los pasos del 1 a 6.

Cómo usar el parlante para llamadas telefónicas
• Si recibes una llamada, el parlante producirá un timbre de llamada
como alerta.
• Presiona brevemente el botón de encendido/modo para contestar.
También puedes presionar el botón de respuesta en tu teléfono para tomar
la llamada usando el parlante.
• Para finalizar una llamada, presiona el botón de encendido/modo una vez
más. Del mismo modo, también puede finalizar la llamada directamente
desde tu teléfono celular.
• Si estás escuchando música con tu teléfono móvil, la reproducción se
reanudará automáticamente una vez que termine la llamada.
• Al presionar dos veces el botón de encendido/modo, el teléfono volverá a
marcar el último número al que llamaste (en dispositivos compatibles).
• Mantén presionado el botón de encendido/modo por unos 2 segundos
para enviar una llamada al correo de voz.
VI. Cómo usar el modo auxiliar
a. Primero, conecta un extremo del cable de 3,5 mm (incluido con el parlante)
al puerto auxiliar y el otro extremo del cable a la fuente de tu preferencia.
b. Enciende el parlante como se indicó anteriormente y ajusta el volumen
al nivel deseado.
c. Presiona el botón de encendido/modo para cambiar al modo de
entrada auxiliar.
d. Comienza a reproducir archivos de audio directamente desde la fuente
de tu elección.
e. El parlante permanecerá en este modo hasta que se presione el botón de
encendido/modo para cambiar a otro modo o hasta que se desconecte el
cable de 3,5 mm. Una vez desconectado, el parlante entrará en
modo Bluetooth®.
VII. Cómo usar el modo microSD™/unidad flash USB
Recomendación: Utiliza una unidad flash USB o una tarjeta microSD™ para
habilitar la reproducción de audio desde archivos compatibles almacenados en
cualquier de estos dispositivos.
a. Primero, conecta una unidad flash USB o una tarjeta microSD™ al puerto
correspondiente del parlante.
b. El parlante detectará automáticamente la unidad flash USB o la tarjeta
microSD™ y reproducirá el archivo de audio. Si los dispositivos no se
detectan automáticamente, presiona el botón de encendido/modo para
alternar entre los diferentes modos disponibles hasta que encuentres el
que estás buscando.
c. Comienza a reproducir archivos de audio directamente desde la fuente
de tu preferencia.
d. Tan pronto como se desconecten la tarjeta microSD™ o la unidad USB,
el parlante entrará automáticamente en modo Bluetooth®.
VIII. Cómo usar el TWS
a. Cuando ambos parlantes estén en el modo de búsqueda de Bluetooth®,
haz doble clic en el botón de encendido en ambos parlantes para ingresar
al modo TWS.
b. Cuando escuches el pitido, ambas máquinas han comenzado a emparejarse.
c. Si la conexión es exitosa, la luz azul de la unidad secundaria permanecerá
encendida y la unidad primaria continuará buscando hasta que finaliza
el emparejamiento.
d. Para volver del modo TWS, haz doble clic en el botón de encendido nuevamente.
