It will be to your advantage to save all the packing materials, carton, fillers,
cushioning, etc. They will prove valuable in preventing damage should it become
necessary to transport or ship the Silver 6011. Be careful that you do not inadvertently
throw away or lose the parts packed with the unit.
Please inspect this unit carefully for any signs of damage incurred in
transit. It has undergone very strict quality control inspections and tests prior to
packing, and it left our workshop in Spain unmarred and in perfect operating condition.
If the unit was shipped directly to you and you discover damage, notify the
transportation company without delay. Only you, the consignee, may institute a claim
against the carrier for damage during shipment. However, we will cooperate fully with
you in such an event. Save the carton as evidence of damage for their inspection. If
you received the unit directly from a XTONEBOX dealer, return it to him for
adjustment.
Our Silver 6011 amplifier represents the fusion between the best sound of the
past with today's effectiveness. We have combined the warm and defined sound of
audio valve technology and the use of turntables with today’s audio-wireless Bluetooth
solutions. Everything powered by a Class-D power stage that multiplies the good
design of this preamplifier.
You can plug your turntable to an authentic audio valve circuit, just as the ones
used at vinyl's golden years. You'll first notice a clear and strong sound that will be
followed by hours of enjoyment listening to your records.
We also have included a Bluetooth circuit so you can listen music wirelessly
using your smartphone, tablet, iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac or any other Bluetooth device. It
isn’t a simple Bluetooth connection, it is a circuit that implements Qualcomm aptX
technology and provides a high definition audio experience.
The Silver 6011 has two auxiliary inputs (AUX 1, AUX 2) thought to be used with
devices such as CD player (highly recommended), television, DVD / Blu-ray player or
any game console. These inputs only support analog signals. If your device has a
digital output, you must use a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter).
Something usual when it comes to audio valve amplifiers is the lack of tone
controls. This was usually thought as an audiophile factor or as a failure of designs. We
have created an equalization circuit which has no signal loss when its controls are
centered. After all, everyone enjoys having the control of the final sound. Why are not
we going to be able to adjust the tone on a vinyl record? Why are not we going to be
able to give more definition to the cymbals of Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue?

best components and materials so we can offer a solution for the nowadays most
demanding ears.

This user manual corresponds to the 2nd version of the Silver-6011, to recognize
your unit, you can see on the back and you will see a serial number. The MkII version
starts from the serial number 00342 onwards.

EQUALIZATION CONTROLS (BASS & TREBLE). With these controls you can alter
the tonal balance of the signals to suit your individual listening preference.
VOLUME CONTROL. The volume control adjusts the level of the output channel, while
maintaining stereo balance.
SOURCE SELECTOR. With this selector you can choose which source you want to hear
your music from. The Silver 6011 has four different sources: BLUETOOTH, AUX 1, AUX
2 and PHONO.
POWER BUTTON. Use it to turn on the amplifier. Please, read the POWER ON
information before start using this unit.
MAIN POWER. Please, use a IEC cable with ground lug to power on safety.
STEREO SPEAKER OUTPUT. Make sure that each passive speaker you connect to
this unit has a rated impedance of 4 to 16 ohms.

INPUTS. There are three sources that need to be connected physically to the Silver
6011: AUX1, AUX2 and PHONO. These are stereo, so there are two inputs (R & L) per
source.
CHASSIS GROUND. If a hum is heard when playing vinyl records, this is an indication
that the record player or its connections are inadequately grounded or shielded.
Connect a separate ground wire from the turntable to the CHASSIS GROUND (as
indicated in PREPARATION FOR USE).
Each time you POWER ON this unit please check the following points:
Audio valves are properly installed.
Each speaker output is connected to its corresponding speaker, using a proper
cable. Make sure that the passive speakers you are using have a proper rated
impedance.
The IEC Cable are properly plugged. IEC with ground terminal is required for
safe operation and reduction of background noise.
To turn on this unit, first press the POWER button (LEDs should light up, if they
don't, please verify that the IEC Cable are properly plugged) and wait 30 seconds for
the valves to warm up (you should hear a little "click" after 30 seconds, this means
that the internal audio signal has been enabled). At this point your Silver 6011 will be
ready to play your favorite music. Enjoy!
To pair your Silver 6011 with a Bluetooth device, first you have to power on the
amplifier so it is discoverable (is not necessary to select BLUETOOTH (BT) source on
the amplifier for pairing). Then, set your Bluetooth device to discoverable. On the
Bluetooth device list shown on your device, select XTONEBOX Silver-6011.
When connected, remember to turn up the volume on your bluetooth device
to maximum or near maximum to have adequate volume with the rest of the inputs.
Now you are ready to listen your music wirelessly and with the best sound
quality. To start just select BLUETOOTH (BT) SOURCE.

Phono circuit was intended for use with turntables that have a standard MM
(Moving Magnet) phono cartridge with a rated impedance of (approximately)
47,000 ohm. This circuit amplifies the signal giving it extra gain and RIAA EQ, so you
shouldn't plug in any other device in PHONO input. The signal processing made by the
phono circuit is only needed in case of using a turntable.
When PHONO source is selected you should maintain your mobile phone
away from the amplifier. It could interfere and produce noise at the output.
The Silver 6011 Tube Amplifier is delivered with the audio valves already
installed (four ECC83/12AX7). However, since you may want to replace them in the
future, we have included this guide to make it easier for you.
REMEMBER: Wait at least 2 minutes for the audio valves to get cold before moving
the unit.
REMEMBER: Power off the unit and disconnect it from its power source before
manipulating it.
This type of chassis has an open frame with the audio valves exposed to the
outside, which can be inserted and removed whenever you want.
First, hold tightly the cabinet and remove the old valves. Then, for insertion, you
must look at the position of the pins relative to its socket. The valves must be securely
fixed. The use of gloves is recommended to avoid scratching or spotting them.

We have included this little scheme as a suggestion so you can get the most
out of your Silver 6011.
REMEMBER: Silver 6011’s PHONO, AUX 1 and AUX 2 inputs are thought just for
analog signals. Digital signals are only supported on Bluetooth mode.

Warranty: All our products pass several tests during production, and of course,
we do real tests of continuous hours of use, to ensure that all electronic components
do not have defects. On the other hand, technical sound measurements are made to
determine the entire set of electronic components is working properly and that the
frequency spectrum and signal processing is such that we have designed. All these
tests are necessary to guarantee that our products are ready for the customer.
Xtonebox offers a 2 years warranty on our products. Tubes, speakers, and
reverb tanks carry a 90 day warranty and are subject to the same terms and
conditions as following.
Any products found to be defective within the applicable period will be
replaced or repaired. Without any charge provided that:
The product was not modified, misused, abused, improperly maintained by any person
not authorized by Xtonebox.
Failure resulted from a defect in material or workmanship and was not damaged due to
use other than its intended use.
The product was not used in abnormal, excessive, or unusual operating conditions.
