No power.
Symptom Cause Solution
The car ignition switchis not
on.
If the power supplyis properly connected
to the car accessoryterminal switch the
ignition key to ACC .
The signals are tooweak. Select a station manually.
The antenna cable isnot

Press it to detach the removable faceplate.

Press it to adjust volume level.
3. PWR BUTTON
Press it to turn on the unit. Press it again to turnoff.
4. MUTE BUTTON
Press it to mute down sound. Press it again to release this mode and
recover previous volume level.
5. SEL BUTTON & VOL + / VOL-
Press to cycle the audio mode through volume,bass,treble, balance,and fader.
Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons to adjust the selected mode.When the mode has
not been adjustedfor several seconds the display returns to the radio or CD
display.
A.Volume: Adjust volume level by using Vol+ / Vol- buttons.
Note: The unit is initially set to volume mode.
B.Bass:Press SEL button once. Adjust the bass level by using Vol+ / Vol-
buttons.
C.Treble:Press SEL button twice.Adjust treble level by using Vol+ /
Vol- buttons.
D.Balance:Press SEL button three times. Adjust sound balance between
left and right speakers by using Vol+ /Vol- buttons.
E.Fader:Press SEL button four times. Adjust sound balance between front
and rear speakersby using Vol+ / Vol- buttons.

6. LOC BUTTON(FOR REMOTE)
Press LOC button on the front panel or on the remote controller for
distance reception when you are located at weak signal location. Depress it
for stronger signal.

Press it to select STEREO or MONO.
8. BND/TA BUTTON
Press repeatedly in radio mode to cycle bands between:

This is to let the user set Brightness,

setup is available. When DVD
playback, the picture setup is
unavailable.
a. BRIGHTNESS
optical output signal of the unit will be
the same as the digital signal (RAW
format) of the playing disc. At the
same time, the power amplifier you
connected must have the decode fu-
nction of Dolby Digital, DTS or MPEG.
3) SPDIF/PCM:
When the player is connected with the
2 channel, digital stereo amplifier,
please select this item; when the pla-
ying disc which is recorded by Dolby
Digital or MPEG recording system, the
analog or optical output will be mod-
ulated to 2 channel output by PCM.

CDP MODE:
A.M1/STOP button
Press it on the front panel or STOP button on the remote controller
during playback, the unit will stop playing.

front panel toplay the previous10 seconds partof each track/chapteron

C.Press M3/REP button to select repeat mode as follows:

15. A.P(AMS) BUTTON
IN RADIO MODE:
When shortly pressthe A.Pbutton on the front panel or the AMS button on
the remote controller, the radiowill search foreach preset station.When the
field strength levelis more thanthe threshold levelof stop level,the radio is
holding at thatpreset number fora few secondswith releasing mute,and then
searches again. InFM band, FM1, FM 2and FM 3is checked oneby one ata
time. When longpress theAMS button (morethan 1 second),the radio searches
Title Number, Total Title Number, Chapter Number, TotalChapter Number
of this Title of the disc currentlybeing played will be shown on the screen,
along with theelapsed time.

Mp3 disc is playing as the format of DIRECTORY by DIRECTORY. For
example:
<L/R soundtrack switch
Press AUDIO button to choose L/R or STEREOsoundtrack.
<Multi-audio function
DVD disc canbe recorded differentlanguage soundtrack. Press audio button to
change language duringplaying. In VCDmode, press audio button to choose L/R
or stereo track.
<Subtitle language function
Press sub-t buttonduring playing. Eachtime the button is pressed number of the
caption language changeson sequential order.
Note: only the discrecorded multi-subtitle language can get this function. The
digital sign onthe DVD packet shows the subtitle language number.
Notes: The language number is different according to the disc.Some disc
only contain onelanguage soundtrack. Whenno different language

A. DVD: PressAUDIO duringplayback.
TITLE Menu Function
A. DVD: If the DVD has multiple titles recorded on the disc. It can select
preferred title from the title menu to start playback.
a. Press TITLE during playback. The title menu is displayed.
b. Press the cursor button shown in TV screen, select preferred title by the
cursor button and confirmed by ENTER key.
B. VCD: Press MENU button while the disc is playing, you can switch
between PBC on and PBC off mode.
Multi-subtitle Language Function (For DVD only)
Press SUBTITLE during playback. Each time the button is pressed, number
of the subtitle language changes in sequential order.
Notes:
- The language number is different according to the disc.
- Some discs only contain one subtitle language.
- When no different subtitle languages are recorded, INVALID KEY will
be displayed at screen left top corner.

B. VCD: PressAUDIO duringplayback. It isavailable to switch the sound
between monaural andstereo sound.

Multi-angle Function (For DVD only)
Press ANGLE during playback. Each time the button is pressed, number of
the angle changes in sequential order.
Notes: The angle number is different according to the disc.
The function only work for discs having scenes recorded at different angles.
When no different angles are recorded, INVALID KEY will be displayed
at screen left top corner.
