Device Operation
Charging
. Use the included USB
charging cable to connect
the charging plate to a USB
power source (not included).
The charging LED will glow
when the plate is connected
to a power source.
. Match up the charging
contacts on the rear of
the keyboard with the
charging contacts inside the
charging plate, and place the
keyboard inside the plate.
The CHARGE LED on the
keyboard will glow when
the unit is charging, and will
turn o when charging is
complete.
Getting Started
. Insert your iPhone into
the case so your iPhone’s
external controls fit into the
corresponding openings in
the case.
. Push down on the other side
of the iPhone so it locks into
the case.
The keyboard and the case attach
via their magnetic surfaces, and
can be used in landscape and
portrait orientations. For landscape
orientation, make sure the camera
openings on the case and the
keyboard are aligned (Figure .
For portrait orientation, align the
bottom of the case with the dotted
line on the keyboard’s magnetic
surface (Figure .

When battery power is low, the
CHARGE LED on the keyboard
will blink.

Pairing Up the Keyboard
. Turn on the keyboard by
pressing and holding the
power switch until the
Bluetooth light glows. It will
glow, turn o, and then blink
rapidly until paired.
. On your iPhone, select
Settings →Bluetooth
(Figure .
. Select ON to activate
the iPhone’s Bluetooth
feature. The iPhone will
automatically search for
available Bluetooth devices.
. Select “Bluetooth keyboard
for iPhone ” from the list
of discovered Bluetooth
devices (Figure . After the initial setup is complete, your
iPhone will automatically recognize your
Xuma keyboard for future use.

Turning o the keyboard,
Reconnecting, and Sleep Mode
To turn o the keyboard, press
and hold the power key until the
Bluetooth LED blinks. The keyboard
will turn o and disconnect from
your iPhone.
To reconnect the keyboard, press
and hold the power key until the
Bluetooth LED glows. The keyboard
will turn on and reconnect with
your iPhone.
When the keyboard is inactive for
several minutes, it will enter sleep
mode in order to conserve battery
power. Press any key to wake up the
keyboard.
Shortcut Keys
The shortcut keys are shortcuts to various functions
on your iPhone. They are located in the top row,
on the , , and keys. Press Fn + the key to access
the shortcut.

Troubleshooting
Following are a few common
problems that may arise during
the operation of your Bluetooth
Keyboard Case, and basic
troubleshooting solutions to
avoid them.
Make sure that the wireless keyboard is
turned on and paired up, and that the
battery is charged.
Make sure that the wireless keyboard
and the iPhone are turned on, and that
their batteries are charged.
Make sure the wireless keyboard is
within operating distance of the iPhone
( feet or meters).
Make sure the iPhone's Bluetooth
setting is turned on.
Make sure to select Bluetooth Keyboard
for iPhone on the iPhone’s list of
discovered Bluetooth devices.
Problem Solution
The keyboard does not
respond.
The wireless keyboard
is not pairing up with
the iPhone.

Troubleshooting
Make sure the charging contacts on
the keyboard and the charging plate
are aligned.
Make sure the USB cable is properly
connected to the charging plate and
the power source.
If you are using a USB AC adapter (not
included), make sure that it has an
output of at least one ampere-hour
(Ah), and that it is properly plugged
into the power outlet.
Problem Solution
The keyboard will not
charge.

LIMITED ONEYEAR WARRANTY
Xuma Group provides a limited warranty that this product is free from defects
in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser under normal use
for a period of one () year from the original purchase date or thirty ()
days after replacement, whichever occurs later (the “Warranty Period”). Our
responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to
repair or replacement, at its option, of any product which fails during normal
consumer use.
To obtain warranty coverage during the Warranty Period, contact your place of
purchase (“Seller”) to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number,
and return to Seller the defective product along with proof of purchase and the
RMA number.
This warranty does not extend to damage or failure which results from misuse,
neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, XUMA GROUP MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS
WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and
you may also have additional rights which vary from state to state.

ONEYEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Xuma provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in
