ihm können Sie schnell und unkompliziert Eiswürfel in zwei verschiedenen Größen
herstellen. Einfach den Wassertank befüllen, die gewünschte Größe auswählen und
fertig. Innerhalb weniger Minuten werden diverse Eiswürfel produziert – ohne Was-
seranschluss und ohne langes Vorkühlen.

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄßER
GEBRAUCH
■Dieses Gerät ist zur Herstellung von
Eiswürfeln aus Trinkwasser bestimmt.
■Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung
mit anderen Flüssigkeiten wie Limo-
naden, Säften o.Ä. bestimmt.
■Das Gerät ist nicht für den Außen-
bereich geeignet.
■Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den
privaten Gebrauch geeignet, nicht für
eine gewerbliche Nutzung, z.B.:
○Personalküchenbereiche in Läden,
Büros und anderen Arbeits-
bereichen;
○in der Landwirtschaft und von Gästen
in Hotels, Motels und anderen Unter-
künften;
○Frühstückspensionen;
○im Catering und ähnlichen Groß-
handelseinsatz.
■Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen
Zweck und nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung aus-
geschlossen sind alle Mängel, die
durch unsachgemäße Behandlung,
Beschädigung oder Reparatur-
versuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch
für den normalen Verschleiß.

■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre
und werden beaufsichtigt.
■Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere sind vom Gerät und der
Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.
Das Gerät enthält Isobutan (R600a), ein brennbares
Erdgas mit einem hohen Grad an Umweltverträglich-
keit. Darauf achten, den Kältekreislauf, der Isobutan
enthält, nicht zu beschädigen.

■WARNUNG: Belüftungsöffnungen im Gerätegehäuse nicht
verschließen.
■WARNUNG: Zum Beschleunigen des Abtauvorganges keine
anderen mechanischen Einrichtungen oder sonstigen Mittel
als die vom Hersteller empfohlenen benutzen.
■WARNUNG: Kältemittelkreislauf nicht beschädigen.
■WARNUNG: Keine elektrischen Geräte innerhalb des Kühlfachs
betreiben, die nicht der vom Hersteller empfohlenen Bauart
entsprechen.
■In diesem Gerät keine explosionsfähigen Stoffe, wie zum
Beispiel Aerosolbehälter mit brennbarem Treibgas, lagern.
■WARNUNG: Bei der Aufstellung des Gerätes ist sicherzustellen,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
wird.
■WARNUNG: Ortsveränderliche Mehrfachsteckdosen oder
Netzteile nicht an der Rückseite des Gerätes platzieren.
■Das Gerät darf nur hochkant transportiert werden! Beim
Transportieren und Aufstellen des Gerätes darauf achten, dass
das Gerät einen Winkel von 45° nicht überschreitet. Der Kom-
pressor und das Kühlsystem könnten Schaden nehmen.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem
Transportieren oder dem Reinigen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Auch die An-
schlussleitung nicht selbst austauschen. Wenn das Gerät, die
Anschlussleitung oder das Zubehör des Gerätes beschädigt
sind, müssen diese durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder
eine Fachwerkstatt ersetzt bzw. repariert werden, um Gefähr-
dungen zu vermeiden.
■Die Reinigungshinweise im Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbewah-
rung “ beachten!

GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räu-
men verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüs-
sigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstel-
len, dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen
oder nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen,
sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose ziehen. Erst danach das Gerät
aus dem Wasser herausholen. Niemals
versuchen, es aus dem Wasser zu
ziehen, während es an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist!
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn das Gerät an das Strom-
netz angeschlossen ist.
■Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es
eine Fehlfunktion hatte, herunterge-
fallen oder ins Wasser gefallen ist.
Vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme in einer
Fachwerkstatt überprüfen lassen.
WARNUNG –
Verletzungsgefahr
■Plastikbeutel und -folien von Kindern
und Tieren fernhalten. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr.
■Sicherstellen, dass die Anschluss-
leitung stets außer Reichweite von
Kleinkindern und Tieren ist. Es be-
steht Strangulationsgefahr.
■Die Kühlstäbe während und direkt
nach Gebrauch niemals anfassen.
Es besteht die Gefahr von Kälte-
verbrennungen.
■Darauf achten, dass die Anschluss-
leitung keine Stolpergefahr darstellt.
Sie darf nicht von der Aufstellfläche
herabhängen, um ein Herunterreißen
des Gerätes zu verhindern.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht zusammen mit ande-
ren Verbrauchern (mit hoher Watt-
leistung) an eine Mehrfachsteckdose
anschließen, um eine Überlastung
und ggf. einen Kurzschluss (Brand) zu
vermeiden.
■Das Gerät nicht in Verbindung mit
Verlängerungskabeln nutzen.
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
brennbarem Material betreiben.
Keine brennbaren Materialien (z.B.
Pappe, Papier, Holz, Kunststoff) in
oder auf das Gerät legen.
■Wird der Kältekreislauf beschädigt,
sicherstellen, dass es keine Flammen
und Zündquellen im Raum gibt. Den
Raum belüften.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht
abdecken.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden
■Das Gerät nur verwenden, wenn es
korrekt zusammengebaut ist!
■Das Gerät niemals an der Anschluss-
leitung ziehen oder tragen. Beim
Herausziehen aus der Steckdose
immer am Netzstecker und nie am
Netzkabel ziehen!
■Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
ziehen, wenn während des Betriebes
ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem
Gewitter.
■Die Anschlussleitung regelmäßig auf
Beschädigungen prüfen. Sie muss bei
Schäden ausgetauscht werden.
■Das Gerät vor Feuer und anderen
Wärmequellen, Minustemperaturen,
lang anhaltender Feuchtigkeit und
Stößen schützen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Her-
stellers verwenden, um die Funktions-
weise des Gerätes nicht zu beein-
trächtigen und eventuelle Schäden zu
verhindern.

FUNKTIONEN
Das Gerät kann Eiswürfel in zwei ver-
schiedenen Größen produzieren und
verfügt über ein Reinigungsprogramm.

VOR DEM ERSTEN
GEBRAUCH
Das Gerät kann mit Produktionsrück-
ständen behaftet sein. Um gesundheit-
liche Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden,
das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch
gründlich reinigen (siehe Kapitel „Reini-
gung und Aufbewahrung“).
VORBEREITUNG
Beachten!
■Den Filter im Wassertank auf festen
Sitz überprüfen. Sollten Eisstücke in
das Wassersystem gelangen, könnte
das Gerät Schaden nehmen.
■Niemals den Wassertank überfüllen
(MAX-Markierung beachten)! Wasser
könnte überlaufen und das Gerät
beschädigen.
■Niemals warmes Wasser in den Was-
sertank füllen, um Geräteschäden zu
vermeiden.
WICHTIG! Nach dem Transport und
Aufstellen des Gerätes muss das Gerät
ca. 30 Minuten ruhen, damit sich die
Flüssigkeit des Kühlsystems setzen kann!
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch sollte das
Gerät ca. 2 Stunden ruhen, bevor es
benutzt wird.
1. Sicherstellen, dass der Ablassstop-
fen(5) auf der Unterseite des Gerätes
vollständig im Gerät sitzt.
2. Das Gerät immer mit einem Freiraum
zu den Seiten (min. 20 cm) und nach
oben (min. 30 cm) auf einen ebenen,
festen, wärmebeständigen und un-
empfindlichen Untergrund stellen.
3. Den Deckel(8) aufklappen und den
Wassertank(6) mithilfe eines Mess-
bechers o.Ä. mit Wasser befüllen. Da-
bei die MAX-Markierung beachten!
4. Den Eiswürfelbehälter(7) in das Gerät
einsetzen.
5. Den Deckel zuklappen.

BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig
installierte Steckdose anschließen.
Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem
Anschließen gut zugänglich sein, damit
die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann. Die Netzspannung muss
mit den technische n Daten des Gerä-
tes übereinstimmen.
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie nicht gequetscht, geknickt
oder über scharfe Kanten gelegt
wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in
Berührung kommt.
WICHTIG! Das Kühlsystem des Gerätes
wird durch einen Kompressor(3) betrie-
ben. Es ist normal, dass der Kompressor
sowie die Kühlflüssigkeit im Kältemittel-
kreislauf Geräusche produzieren. Zu
Beginn der Nutzung sind die Geräusche
lauter; im Verlauf der Benutzung nehmen
diese ab.
1. Die Anschlussleitung vollständig
auseinanderwickeln und in eine leicht
zugängliche Steckdose stecken. Das
Symbol der eingestellten Eiswürfel-
größe (10 bzw. 11) leuchtet und das
Symbol (9) blinkt.
2. Bei Bedarf durch Drücken der Taste
SELECT(15) die Eiswürfelgröße
ändern.
3. Die Eiswürfelherstellung durch Drücken
der Taste ON/OFF(16) starten.
Das Symbol leuchtet dauerhaft.
Das Gerät pumpt zunächst das Was-
ser einmal durch die Kühlstäbe, um
das Wasser abzukühlen und beginnt
anschließend mit der Eiswürfelher-
stellung.
Das Gerät arbeitet so lange, bis
○der Eiswürfelbehälter(7) voll ist
(Symbol (12) leuchtet);
○der Wassertank(6) leer ist
(Symbol (13) leuchtet);
○der Herstelllungsprozess durch
Drücken der Taste ON/OFF ge-
stoppt wird.
Nach dem Leeren des Eiswürfelbe-
hälters erlischt das Symbol und
das Gerät startet automatisch den
erneuten Herstellungsprozess.
Nach dem Auffüllen des Wassertanks
erlischt das Symbol .
Der Herstellungsprozess muss durch
Drücken der Taste ON/OFF erneut
gestartet werden.
4. Soll das Gerät nicht mehr verwendet
werden, den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
Das Restwasser nach jedem Gebrauch
aus dem Gerät ablassen (siehe Kapitel
„Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“).
REINIGUNG UND
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät auf Raumtemperatur aufwär-
men lassen, bevor es gereinigt wird.
■Zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder
Reinigungspads verwenden. Diese
können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
• Vergewissern, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
• Das Restwasser aus dem Gerät ab-
lassen:
○Das Gerät soweit über die Kante
der Abstellfläche ziehen, dass es
ca.6 cm nach vorne übersteht.
○Ein Gefäß mit ausreichendem
Fassungsvermögen unter das
überstehende Gerät halten und den
Ablassstopfen(5) auf der Unterseite
des Gerätes herausziehen.

○Das Wasser vollständig ablaufen
lassen.
○Den Ablassstopfen wieder vollstän-
dig in das Gerät einsetzen.
• Den Eiswürfelbehälter(7) mit war-
mem Wasser und ggf. etwas Spülmit-
tel reinigen.
• Das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit einem
feuchten Tuch abwischen. Bei stär-
keren Verschmutzungen ggf. etwas
Spülmittel nutzen.
• Das Gerät (innen und außen) und den
Eiswürfelbehälter und die Eiswürfel-
schaufel trockenem Tuch gründlich
nachwischen.
• Das Gerät an einem trockenen,
sauberen, frostfreien Ort aufbewah-
ren, der vor direktem Sonnenlicht
geschützt und für Kinder und Tiere
unzugändlich ist.
Reinigungsprogramm
Das Gerät verfügt über ein Reinigungs-
programm, das mindestens ein- bis
zweimal im Monat, bei regelmäßiger Be-
nutzung des Gerätes häufiger, angewandt
werden sollte.
1. Eventuell vorhandenes Restwasser
ablassen (siehe vorheriger Abschnitt).
2. Ein Tuch in einer Wasser-Essig-Lösung
tränken und das Innere des Gerätes
damit auswischen.
3. Den Wassertank(6) mit frischem
Wasser befüllen (siehe Kapitel
„Vorbereitung“).
4. Die Anschlussleitung in eine leicht
zugängliche Steckdose stecken. Das
Symbol der eingestellten Eiswürfel-
größe (10 bzw. 11) leuchtet und das
Symbol (9) blinkt.
5. Durch Drücken der Taste SELECT (15)
das Reinigungsprogramm (14)
wählen.
6. Das Reinigungsprogramm durch Drü-
cken der Taste ON/OFF(16) starten.
Das Symbol leuchtet dauerhaft.
Das Gerät pumpt für ca.6Minuten
das Wasser durch das Gerät und
schaltet anschließend in den Stand-
by-Modus.
7. Das Gerät wie gewohnt benutzen
oder zum Aufbewahren vorbereiten
(siehe vorheriger Abschnitt).
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten das
Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenservice
kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektrisches
Gerät selbst zu reparieren!
Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.
Der Netzstecker steckt nicht richtig in
der Steckdose.
►Den Sitz des Netzsteckers korrigieren.
Die Steckdose ist defekt.
►Eine andere Steckdose ausprobieren.
Es ist keine Netzspannung vorhanden.
►Die Sicherung des Netzanschlusses
überprüfen.
Das Gerät wurde nicht gestartet.
►Die Taste ON/OFF(16) drücken, um
die Herstellung der Eiswürfel oder
das Reinigungsprogramm zu starten.
Der Eiswürfelbehälter(7) ist voll. /
Das Symbol (12) leuchtet.
►Den Eiswürfelbehälter entleeren.
Das Gerät arbeitet automatisch
weiter.
Der Wassertank(6) ist leer. / Das Symbol
(13) leuchtet.
►Den Wassertank befüllen und das
Gerät durch Drücken der Taste
ON/OFF(16) neu starten.

Die Sicherung im Sicherungskasten
wird ausgelöst.
Zu viele Geräte sind am selben Strom-
kreis angeschlossen.
►Die Anzahl der Geräte im Stromkreis
reduzieren.
Es läuft Wasser aus dem Gerät.
Es befindet sich zu viel Wasser im Wasser-
tank(6).
►Den Wassertank nicht überfüllen!
Der Ablassstopfen(5) sitzt nicht richtig
im Gerät.
►Den Sitz des Ablassstopfens korri-
gieren.
Während des Gebrauchs lässt sich ein
unangenehmer Geruch feststellen.
Das Gerät wird zum ersten Mal verwendet.
►Eine Geruchsentwicklung tritt bei
der ersten Benutzung neuer Ge-
räte häufig auf. Der Geruch sollte
verschwinden, nachdem das Gerät
mehrmals benutzt wurde.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial um-
weltgerecht entsorgen und der
Wertstoffsammlung zuführen.
Das nebenstehende Symbol
(durchgestrichene Mülltonne
mit Unterstrich) bedeutet, dass
Altgeräte nicht in den Hausmüll,
sondern in spezielle Sammel- und
Rückgabesysteme gehören.
Besitzer von Altgeräten aus priva-
ten Haushalten können diese bei
den Sammelstellen der öffentlich-
rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger
oder bei den von Herstellern und
Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG
eingerichteten Rücknahmestellen
unentgeltlich abgeben. Rücknah-
mepflichtig sind auch Geschäfte,
die Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte
auf dem Markt bereitstellen.

entzündliches Gas. Für Informa-
tionen zur korrekten Entsorgung

Behörden wenden.

INTENDED USE
■This device is intended to be used to
make ice cubes from drinking water.
■The device is not intended to be used
with other liquids such as soft drinks,
juices or similar beverages.
■The device is not suitable for use
outdoors.
■The device is suitable for personal use
only and not for commercial applica-
tions, e.g.:
○staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other workspaces;
○in agriculture and by guests in hotels,
motels and other accommodation;
○bed and breakfasts;
○in catering and similar wholesale
applications.
■Use the device only for the specified
purpose and as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use
is deemed to be improper.
■The warranty does not cover faults
caused by incorrect handling, damage
or attempted repairs. The same
applies
to normal wear and tear.

er than those recommended by the manufacturer to speed up
the defrosting process.
■WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
■WARNING: Do not operate any electrical devices within the
refrigerator compartment that do not correspond to the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
■Do not store any potentially explosive substances, such as aer-
osol cans containing a flammable propellant, in this device.
■WARNING: When the device is set up, it must be ensured that
the connecting cable is not jammed or damaged.
■WARNING: Do not place portable multiple sockets or power
supplies on the back of the device.
■The device may only be transported upright! When the de-
vice is transported and set up, make sure that the device does
not exceed an angle of 45°. The compressor and the cooling
system could be damaged.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains pow-
er when it is left unattended and before transporting or clean-
ing the device.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. Also do not re-
place the connecting cable yourself. If the device, the connect-
ing cable or the accessories of the device are damaged, they
must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, customer
service department or a specialist workshop in order to avoid
any hazards.
■Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and Storage”
chapter!

DANGER – Danger of Electric
Shock
■Use and store the device only in
closed rooms.
■Do not use and store the device in
rooms with high humidity.
■Never immerse the device and the
connecting cable in water or other
liquids and ensure that they cannot
fall into water or become wet.
■If the device does fall into water, pull
the mains plug out of the plug socket
immediately. Only after this should
you pull the device out of the water.
Never attempt to pull it out of the
water while it is connected to the
mains power!
■Never touch the device and the con-
necting cable with wet hands when
the device is connected to the mains
power.
■Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned, fallen or been dropped
into water. Have it checked in a spe-
cialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■Keep plastic bags and films away from
children and animals. There is adan-
ger of suffocation.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
small children and animals. There is
adanger of strangulation.
■Never touch the cooling rods during
or immediately after use.
There is the risk of cold burns.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard. It
should not hang down from the
surface on which the device is placed
in order to prevent the device from
being pulled down.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■Do not connect the device along with
other consumers (with a high wattage)
to a multiple socket in order to pre-
vent overloading and a possible short
circuit (fire).
■Do not use the device in conjunction
with extension cables.
■Do not operate the device in the vi-
cinity of combustible material. Do not
place any combustible materials (e.g.
cardboard, paper, wood or plastic) in
or on the device.
■If the refrigerant circuit is damaged,
make sure that there are no flames or
ignition sources in the room. Ventilate
the room.
■Do not cover the device during
operation.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■The device should only be used if it
has been correctly assembled!
■Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable. When you pull it
out of the plug socket, always pull on
the mains plug and never the mains
cable!
■Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket if an error occurs during opera-
tion or before a thunderstorm.
■Check the connecting cable regularly
for any damage. It must be replaced if
it is damaged.
■Protect the device from flames and
other heat sources, sub-zero tem-
peratures, persistent moisture and
impacts.
■Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
There may still be some production
residues on the device. To avoid harmful
effects to your health, clean the device
thoroughly before you first use it (see the
"Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
PREPARATION
Please Note!
■Check that the filter fits securely in the
water tank. If chunks of ice get into
the water system, the device could be
damaged.
■Never overfill the water tank (note the
MAX marking)! Water could overflow
and damage the device.
■Never pour any warm water into the
water tank to prevent damage to the
device.
IMPORTANT! Once you have transported
and set up the device, the device needs
to rest for approx. 30 minutes so that the
liquid in the cooling system can settle!
Before you first use the device, it should
rest for approx. 2 hours before it is used.
1. Make sure that the drain plug(5) is ful-
ly fitted on the bottom of the device.
2. Always set up the device with a clear
space at the sides (at least 20 cm)
and clear space above it (at least 30
cm) on a flat, solid, heat-resistant and
resilient surface.
3. Open up the lid (8) and fill the water
tank (6) with water using a measuring
cup or similar vessel. Note the MAX
marking when you do this!
4. Insert the ice cube container (7) into
the device.
5. Flip the lid shut.

USE
Please Note!
■Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the technical data of the device.
■Lay the connecting cable so that it is
not squashed, bent or laid over sharp
edges and does not come into con-
tact with hot surfaces.
IMPORTANT! The cooling system of the
device is operated by a compressor (3).
It is normal for the compressor and the
cooling liquid in the refrigerant circuit to
make noises. The noises are louder when
you start using the device; they reduce as
you use the device more.
1. Completely unwind the connecting ca-
ble and plug it into a plug socket that
is easily accessible. The symbol for the
set ice cube size (10 or 11) lights up
and the symbol (9) flashes.
2. If necessary, change the ice cube size
by pressing the SELECT button (15).
3. Start making the ice cubes by pressing
the ON/OFF button (16).
The symbol is lit constantly.
The device initially pumps the water
through the cooling rods once in or-
der to cool down the water and then
starts making the ice cubes.
The device keeps operating until
○the ice cube container(7) is full
(symbol (12) lights up);
○the water tank(6) is empty
(symbol (13) lights up);
○the production process is stopped
by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Once the ice cube container is emp-
tied, the symbol goes out and
the device automatically starts the
production process again.
After the water tank has been refilled,
the symbol goes out.
The production process needs to be
restarted by pressing the ON /OFF
button.
4. If the device is no longer going to be
used, pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket.
Drain any remaining water from the
device after every use (see the “Cleaning
and Storage” chapter).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■Allow the device to warm up to room
temperature before it is cleaned.
■Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
• Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
• Drain the rest of the water from the
device:
○Pull the device over the edge of
the surface it is resting on until it is
protruding out by approx.6 cm.
○Hold a vessel with a sufficient ca-
pacity below the protruding device
and pull out the drain plug (5) on
the bottom of the device.
○Allow all of the water to drain out.
○Insert the drain plug all the way
back in the device.
• Clean the ice cube container (7) with
warm water and a little detergent if
necessary.
• If necessary, wipe down the housing
with a damp cloth. If there is heavy
soiling, use a little detergent if nec-
essary.

• Thoroughly wipe down the device
(inside and outside) and the ice cube
container and the ice cube scoop with
a dry cloth.
• Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-
free place that is protected from di-
rect sunlight and cannot be accessed
by children or animals.
Cleaning Programme
The device has a cleaning programme
which should be used at least once or
twice a month, and more frequently if the
device is used regularly.
1. Drain any remaining water (see previ-
ous section).
2. Soak a cloth in a water/vinegar solu-
tion and use it to wipe the inside of
the device.
3. Fill the water tank (6) with fresh water
(see the “Preparation” chapter).
4. Plug the connecting cable into a plug
socket that is easily accessible. The
symbol for the set ice cube size (10 or
11) lights up and the symbol (9)
flashes.
5. Press the SELECT button (15) to select
the cleaning programme (14).
6. Start the cleaning programme by
pressing the ON/OFF button (16).
The symbol is lit constantly. The
device pumps the water through the
device for approx.6minutes and then
switches to stand-by mode.
7. Use the device in the usual way or
prepare it for storage (see previous
section).
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps that are listed,
contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
►Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►Check the fuse of the mains connec-
tion.
The device was not started.
►Press the ON/OFF button (16) to
start the production of the ice cubes
or the cleaning programme.
The ice cube container (7) is full. /
The symbol (12) lights up.
►Empty the ice cube container. The
device carries on working automati-
cally.
The water tank(6) is empty. / The
symbol (13) lights up.
►Fill the water tank and restart the
device by pressing the ON/OFF
button (16).
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices are connected to the
same circuit.
►Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.

Water runs out of the device.
There is too much water in the water
tank(6).
►Do not overfill the water tank!
The drain plug (5) is not fitted correctly in
the device.
►Correct the fit of the drain plug.
During use, an unpleasant smell is
detected.
The device is being used for the first time.
►A smell often develops when new de-
vices are first used. The smell should
disappear once the device has been
used several times.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
The adjacent symbol (crossed-out
bin underlined) means that used
devices should not be disposed of
in the domestic waste, but should
instead be taken to special collec-
tion and return systems.
Owners of used devices from
private households can take them
free of charge to the collection
points of the public waste disposal
authorities or the disposal points
which are set up by manufacturers
