1 About Yellow V
Yellow V began as an idea among a group of enthusias-
tic staff at VETUS. Based on the clear vision that water-
sports should be accessible to everyone, we will do ev-
erything we can do make to make sure it is. The mission
is to get everyone out of their houses and onto the water.
Our tools: a comprehensive range of inatable products.
In designing our products, we want to go that step
further, whether by adding a special feature or offering an
extravagant package: the rst response we want to get
is “Wow!”. That’s what we do it all for. To encourage you
to be active! And that’s why we are next level in leisure:
Next-Level Leisure.
1.1 Our Mission
It is our mission is to get everyone out of their houses and
onto the water. Having fun getting and staying t: your
next level in leisure activities. The fantastic products of
Yellow V will help you to achieve that next level. Broaden
your horizons, go places you’ve never been before and
explore! Enjoy nature instead of gazing at your phone
and live! We currently offer boards for both calm and
fast-owing water, and there are a lot more models on
the way. Our inatable products go beyond current legis-
lation and regulations. Because we at Yellow V live to give
you that ‘Wow!’ feeling.

2.2 Safety label
A safety label has been afxed to the inatable.
• SUP board: on the bottom, around the n (1)
• Platform: on the bottom, beside the valve (2)
2 Safety
Warning indications
The following warning indications are used in this manual
in the context of safety:
Warning
Indicates that a potential danger that can lead to injury
exists.
Caution
Points out that the relevant operating procedures,
actions, etc may result in damage, injury or death.

Emphasises important procedures, circumstances etc.
Share the safety instructions with fellow users.
General regulations and laws concerning safety and to
prevent accidents must always be observed.
2.1 General
This manual was put together to help you use your in-
atable safely and enjoyably. It includes details about
the inatable, the equipment included or attached and
information about use and maintenance. Read through it
carefully and familiarise yourself with the inatable before
using it.
If this is your rst inatable or if it is a type of inatable
with which you are not yet familiar, please give yourself
enough time to gain experience in a safe manner.
note
Wear a suitable life jacket/personal otation
device when you are on the water. Please note
that in some countries it is legally required to
wear a life jacket, which complies with national
legislation, at all times.
You can nd an explanation of the symbols used in the
‘Safety Information’ supplied with the inatable or at
page 17 -18 of this manual.
3 Use of the inflatable
3.1 General
Fully inate the inatable a day before use and check for
air leakage.
Caution
Do not expose the inatable to the sun for extended
periods. This will prevent premature ageing of the material
as a result of pressure changes in the air chamber, varia-
tions in temperature and physical reactions due to ultra-
violet radiation.
The inatable should preferably be stored in a cool and
dark place.
Warning
Do not exceed the maximum recommended number of
persons. Regardless of the number of persons, the total
weight of persons and equipment may never exceed the
recommended maximum load.
Never exceed the maximum weight capacity as indicated
on the safety label of the inatable.
Every user must always wear a life jacket, which has
been approved by the local government.
Caution
Be very careful in shallows or ‘unfamiliar reefs’. Always
check the local hydrographic charts of the area where the
inatable will be used.
Securing loose items of equipment
It is strongly recommended to securely fasten loose
items of equipment or baggage during use on the water.
The SUP boards are tted with a bungee cargo cord for
this purpose.

When you start pumping, the pressure gauge will not
start moving immediately. Continue pumping until the
pressure gauge indicates the correct pressure.
6 Installing the fin (SUP board)
• Fully inate the SUP board.
• Turn the SUP board over with the n box for the n
facing upwards.
• Push the n all the way into the n box (1)
• Push the pin through the side of the n box and the n.
You will hear a click. (2)
• Remove in the reverse order to the above.
3.2 Towing
Warning
If the inatable is being towed, this is only allowed
without persons on it and at a low speed.
The towing line must be attached to the ‘D’ rings:
• SUP board: 1 x on the underside at the front
• Platform: 4 x on top (at each corner)
4 Inflating
4.1 Preparation for inflating
• Ensure that the surface on which you inate is at

Check that the valve is in the highest position. If this is
not the case, press the white cap with your nger and
turn it 90 degrees so the valve is raised
• Attach the pump to the valve and start inating
5 Pump operation
Double operation: double pumping power with red cap
installed for faster inating. When the red cap is removed,
it becomes a high-pressure pump to inate the board to
the recommended pressure.
The outlet above the pressure gauge on the pump is
for inating, the outlet under the pressure gauge on the
pump is to vacuum.
The pressure gauge needs a minimum counter pressure
of 0.5 bar. The needle will not move below that. If you
doubt whether the pressure gauge is working, remove
the hose from the pump, hold the palm of your hand
rmly against the outlet for inating and pump once by
pressing the handle downwards. The pressure gauge will
move immediately.
Warning
Do not use compressed air for inating (such as a
tyre compressor).
Do not expose the inatable to direct sunlight if it is not
in the water because the air expanding may result in
damage or explosions.
If the pressure is too high, it may lead to structural (irrep-
arable) damage.
Working pressure: 15 psi / 1,0 bar
Maximum pressure: 20 psi / 1,4 bar
Minimum pressure: 10 psi / 0,7 bar

7 Leash - How to properly attach
the leash to a board
Leashes provides safety, it prevents that the board gets
away from you when you fall of it.
7.1 Board attachment point
The leash must be attached to the D- ring which is at
the tail of the board. The leash has a ‘nylon’ string/ cord,
which goes under the D- ring and then looping it through
itself.
note
Besides the D- ring at the tail there are several other D-
rings on the board, but these are for other purposes,
like storage of cargo or mounting a kayak seat. They
can’t be used for attaching a leash.

10 Storing inflatables
Let the inatable dry properly in the shade before storage.
Never dry the inatable in direct sunlight.
Store the inatable in a cool, at and dry place, preferably
with a little air in the air chamber. If that is not possible,
allow it to deate completely, but do not roll it up too
tightly. Rolling it up too tightly may damage the seams.
Always roll it up towards the valve.
11 Cleaning and maintenance
The surface of the inatable must be cleaned using a
solution of mild soap and clean water after each use.
Ensure that any sand, small stones, oil and dirt are rinsed
off before folding or storin the board.
9 Deflating
Ensure that the inatable is clean and dry before deating
it.
• Remove the protective
cap.
• Press the white cap
with your nger and
turn the central element
of the valve 90 degrees
to open the valve.
7.2 Body attachment
point
The most comfortable spot to
attach a leash is the ankle but
the change of tangles is higher.
The spot just below the knee is
less comfortable but there is less
chance of tangles. The leash ts
for both spots.

8 Setting up a SUP kayak seat
The SUP kayak seat is not part of the ‘Scope of supply’
of a Yellow V SUP board, so it has to be ordered sepa-
rately.
When the board is inated position the SUP kayak seat
in the middle of board somewhere in between the four
D- rings. Attach the upper two straps from the back side
of the seat to the two D- rings facing towards the nose
of the board by using the snap hooks at each end of the
strap. Then attach the lower back straps to the nearest
D- rings behind the seat. Adjust the straps to a comforta-
ble sitting/ leaning position.
For most user the recommended position of the SUP
kayak seat is just slightly behind the center of the board.
7.3 How to hold the paddle

it’s easy to get on the board while in the water and six
D-rings to tie multiple boards together to create a play
platform. An absolute lightweight at 8,5 kg and rigid
enough to hold 75 kg. For stability 3 removable ns are
included. The 5mm EVA foam offers a comfortable un-
derground while the 1,5 mm drop-stitched PVC is highly
durable and build to last.

12.4 Heartbeat 08 game
Players roll the dice and move their pieces around the
board. Only pieces not in the nest may move forward on
the board. Pieces may only leave the nest with a roll of a
ve on a single dice.
Once out of the nest, a player may move one or more
pieces, by the number on the dice. If no move is possible,
the turn is forfeited.
All die moves must be taken before the application of any
extra rewards for sending an opponent to their nest or
moving a piece to its home position.
When a piece ends its move on the same space as an
opponent’s piece, the opponent’s piece is sent back to
its nest.
A blockade is formed when two pieces of a single
player occupy the same space. No piece of any player
may move through a blockade, including pieces of the
blockade owner. Another player’s piece cannot land in
a space occupied by a blockade, even to leave its nest.
A piece is not required to enter the home row and can
pass the row and start another circuit of the board vol-
untarily or as the result of requirement of the use of the
total die roll.
The game is won when all pieces are in the home spot
of the player.

your companion. Suitable for fast owing rivers and in
the breakers. This rocker board is highly manoeuverable
and can be turned on the spot with its raised kick pad.
The three detachable ns can be easily replaced and you
benet from more stability due to the extra width of this
Stand Up Paddling board. So when you are SUPping on

13.4 Heartbeat09 game
This basic game uses a 3-by-3 grid. Goal of the game
is to be the rst player to get three in a row.Player one
places the rst piece.
Players alternate placing their coloured pieces on the
board until one player has three in a row (horizontally/
vertically/diagonally) or until it’s a draw.
