Preliminary Data
The LT-70V is a rack-mountable trans-
former unit for use in situations where
multiple, transformer-equipped speakers,
need to be powered by one amplifier.
The LT-70V’s toroidal transformer has
over 300-watts of power capacity without
the added weight of an iron-core trans-
former. A detailed function label, located
near the terminal-strip, helps ensure
guess-free system connections.
Connections
Using 18 AWG speaker wire (or heavier),
connect the negative (– / black) amplifier
output to the COM terminal in the FROM
AMPLIFIER section on the LT-70V.
Depending on the amplifier's output
rating, connect the positive (+ / red)
lead from the amplifier to one of the
two end terminals identified on the
LT-70Vs label as
i. White wire on LT-70V's terminal strip
100-180 Watts from 4-ohm amp
ii. Red wire on LT-70V's terminal strip
225-325 Watts from 4-ohm amp or
110-180 Watts from 8-ohm amp
Note: If the amplifier has ¼ inch output
jacks, connect a ¼ inch plug to the
cable-end. The short (i.e. Tip) tab con-
nection in the jack will be positive (+).
Once you have interconnected all
the speakers (and their transformers)
in a parallel circuit, connect the com-
mon (or negative) speaker system lead
to the COM terminal in the TO
SPEAKERS block on the LT-70V.
Connect the other (+) lead to the ter-
minal identified as 70V in that block.
The system is now connected

Information Préliminaire
Le LT-70V est un transformateur qui peut
être installé dans un rack pour les appli-
cations nécessitent de multiples haut-par-
leurs avec transformateur, qui sont ali-
menté par un seul amplificateur de puis-
sance. Le transformateur toroïdal
LT-70V’s possède une capacité de puis-
sance d’au-delà de 300 watts sans le
poids accru d’un transformateur à noyau
d’acier. Une étiquette détaillée des fonc-
tions qui est située près de la barrette de
connexion vous assistera pour un
branchement du système sans erreur.
Connexions
À l’aide d’un fil pour haut-parleur de 18
AWG (ou plus gros), branchez la borne
négative (– / noire) de la sortie
d’amplificateur au terminal COM dans la
section “FROM AMPLIFIER’’ du LT-70V.
Selon la puissance nominale de sortie de
l’amplificateur, raccordez la borne positive (+
/ rouge) de l’amplificateur à une des deux
bornes du LT-70V marquée comme suit:
i. Conducteur Blanc sur la Barrette de
 connexionduLT-70V•100-180Watts
d’un amplificateur de 4 ohms
ii. Conducteur Rouge sur la Barrette de
 connexionduLT-70V•225-325Watts
d’un amplificateur de 4 ohms ou
110-180 Watts d’un amplificateur
de 8 ohms
Note: Si l’amplificateur est équipé de prises
de sortie type jack ¼-pouce, branchez une
fiche ¼-pouce à l’extrémité du câble. La tige
de connexion courte (raccordé à la pointe)
à l’intérieur de la fiche sera positive (+).
Lorsque vous aurez interconnecté
tous les haut-parleurs (et leur transfor-
mateur) en parallèle, branchez le con-
ducteur commun (le négatif) du système
de haut-parleur au terminal COM dans
le bloc “TO SPEAKERS’’ sur le LT-70V.
Branchez l’autre conducteur (+) au ter-
minal identifié “70V’’ dans ce même bloc.
Le système est
maintenant branché.
