Installation
This appliance is heavy. Care shoul be taken when
moving it.
It is angerous to alter the specifications or attempt
to mo ify this pro uct in any way.
Ensure that the appliance oes not stan on the
electrical supply cable. If the supply cable is
amage , it must be replace by a cable available
from your local Service Force Centre.
Any electrical work require to install this appliance
shoul be carrie out by a qualifie electrician or
competent person.

Whenever possible, the back of the appliance
shoul be close to a wall, but leaving the require
istance for ventilation, as state in the installation
instructions.

This appliance is esigne for the refrigeration of foo

To ensure correct operation, the appliance shoul

between 16-32 °C.

Using the Appliance
Before Use
Remove all securing tapes.
Wash the insi e of the appliance with lukewarm water
with a little bicarbonate of so a a e (5 ml to 0,5 litre
of water). Do not use soap or etergent as the smell
may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Do not use detergents, abrasive powders,
highly perfumed cleaning products, wax
polishes or products containing alcohol.
FFTo Start the Appliance
1. Allow the appliance to stan for 2 hrs after
installation.
2. Plug in the appliance an switch on at the mains
supply.
3. Turn the thermostat control to the require setting.
A setting of 3 is usually suitable for normal
operation (see thermostat control).
4. Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours for
the correct temperature to be reache before
placing foo insi e.
Thermostat Control
The thermostat control knob situate insi e the
refrigerator regulates the temperature of the lar er
compartment. Thermostat control is marke from 1-5
the higher the number, the col er the setting.

Storage Shelves
The variable shelves increase the usefulness of the
fresh foo compartment. The shelves can be
rearrange by opening the oor to 90°.

Food Storage
To obtain the best results from your appliance
neither hot foo s nor liqui s which may evaporate,
shoul be place in the lar er compartment.
Keep the time between buying chille foo an

temperature before placing in the fri ge.
Try to avoi keeping the oor open for long
perio s, or opening the oor too frequently as

bleach or alcohol.
Clean the rain hole of the water trough at regular
intervals an ensure that the rain hole is clear at all
times. If blocke carefully clear using a piece of
flexible curtain wire inserte into the rain outlet to
remove the blockage.
Regularly check the oor seals an wipe clean to
ensure they are clean an free from ebris.

External Cleaning
Wash the outer cabinet with warm soapy water.

Changing the Light Bulb
Defrosting Your Appliance
The fri ge compartment is efroste automatically,
when the motor stops. Defrost water from the cooling
plate runs out of the rain an onto a tray on the motor
compressor where it evaporates. Droplets of water on
the cooling plate uring efrosting are quite normal
an will freeze on the plate afterwar s.
When the appliance is not in use
When the appliance is not in use for long perio s
isconnect from the electricity supply, empty all of the
foo an clean the appliance, leaving the oor ajar to
prevent unpleasant smells.
Shoul the light fail to work you can change it as
below:
Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply.
Remove the lamp cover retaining screws, then take
the lamp cover off in the irection of the arrow an the
bulb can be change . (Type of the bulb: 230 V, 15 W,
E 14 threa )
After changing the bulb replace the lamp cover, an
retaining screws an reconnect the appliance to the
electricity supply.

the correct setting relative to ambient con itions.
Set the thermostat control knob to a warmer
position.
Check the oor has not been left open.
Check nothing is preventing the oor from closing.
Check the oor gasket is intact an clean.
Check if the appliance stan s stable (all four feet
shoul be on the floor).
Check the rain hole is not blocke (see

Installing the appliance
Transportation, unpacking
The appliance an the interior fitting are protecte for
transport.
Remove all packaging an any a hesive tape.
Any remnants of a hesive can be remove using
white spirit.
After transportation the appliance must not be
switche on for 2 hours. This is to allow the
refrigerant to settle.
Cleaning
Clean the accessories an the insi e of the appliance
with warm water an bicarbonate of so a (5 ml
to 0.5 litres of water). Rinse an ry thoroughly.
Do not use detergents, abrasive powders, highly
perfumed cleaning products, wax polishes or
cleaning products containing bleach or alcohol.

Ventilation Requirements

Door Reversal
If require the opening irection of the oor can be
change as follows:
To reverse the bottom hinge assembly procee as
follows:
Disconnect the appliance from the electricity
supply.
Tilt the appliance backwar s, resting the top e ge
of the appliance on a stool or something similar.
Unscrew the a justable feet situate on both si es
at the front (2 pieces). Remove the lower oor
hinge plate by unscrewing the 3 retaining screws.
Remove the hinge pin from the bottom of the oor.
Slot the hinge pin into the hole in the hinge plate
an relocate the hinge assembly to the opposite
location an refit using the retaining screws.
Put the cabinet in the upright position.

To reverse the top hinge assembly procee as follows:
Remove the 2 worktop retaining screws from the
back of the appliance.
Sli e the worktop towar s the rear an lift clear of
the appliance.
Remove the 2 upper hinge plate retaining screws.
Remove the hinge plate from the top of the oor.
Unscrew the hinge pin from the hinge plate an re-
insert on the opposite si e of the pate.
Rotate the hinge assembly 180° an insert the
hinge assembly into the opposite location.
Refit the 2 hinge plate retaining screws.
Relocate the worktop an refit the worktop
retaining screws.
To reverse the han le procee as follows:
Remove screw covers (if fitte ) an han le retaining
screws. Remove blanking plugs on the opposite
si e.
Relocate the han le to the opposite si e an refit
retaining screws (covers if fitte ), an replace the
blanking plugs.

Any electrical work required to install this

qualified electrician or competent person.

Electrical Requirements
Before switching on, make sure the electricity supply
voltage is the same as that in icate on the appliance
rating plate.

the event of having to change the fuse in the plug
supplie , a 13 amp ASTA approve (BS 1362) fuse
