1Generalinformation
1.1 About this manual
Thismanualdescribestheinstallation,function andoperationofanintegratedsolarpumpingstation,whichis
suitableforsplit pressurizedsolarheating system.Beforeinstallingandoperatingthedevice,pleasereadthe
following information carefully.
1.2 Safetyregulations
♦Installation,commissioning andmaintenance ofthedevicemayonlybe performedbyprofessionalpersonal.
♦Alloperationsthatrequireopeningthedeviceareonlytobeconductedclearedfromthepowersupply.All
safetyregulationsforworkingon thepowersupplyare valid.
♦Thedevicemustnotbeinstalledinroomswhereeasilyinflammablematerial(e.g.gasoroil)mixturesare
presentormayoccur.
♦Beforeconnectingthepumpingstation,makesurethattheenergysupplymatchesthespecificationsofthe
device.Protectthe solarpumping stationagainstoverloading andshort-circuiting.
♦Alldevicesconnectedtothepumpingstationmustconformtothe technicalspecificationsofthedevice.
♦Assoonasit becomesevidentthatsafeoperation isnolongerpossible, pleaseimmediatelytakethedevice
outofoperation.
♦Withoutlightningrod,pleasedon tuse thisdevice duringa thunderstorm.

2Productinformation
2.1 Systemdescription
Thesolarcollectorpump(P1)isactivatedassoon asthetemperaturedifferencebetweenthecollectorarray(T1)
andthestoragetank(T2)isreached.Ifthetemperaturedifferencebetweenthecollectorarray(T1)andstorage
tank (T2)dropsbelowtheswitch-offtemperaturedifference, orthestoragetank (T3)reachesthemaximum
storage temperature, the solarpump(P1)willbe switchedoff.
T3isusedtomeasurethetemperatureofthetoppartofstoragetank.Iftheturning-on conditionforauxiliary
heatingisfilled,theauxiliaryheating willbeactivated.

Danger: Ifthereisonlyonetemperaturesensorinwaterstoragetank (usuallyinbottompartT2),itis
possible, thattheauxiliaryheatingfunctionwillnotbeactivatedordeactivatedatarighttime, because
thewatertemperatureintoppartofthetank(T3)cannotbemeasured.Inthiscase,ifyou stillwanttouse
auxiliaryheatingfunction, controlprogramwillautomaticallytakethesignalfrombottomtemperaturesensor(T2)
insteadofT3.However, waterintoppartoftankmightoftenbeoverheated.Itmaycause damagestomaterialand
persons.Soit ishighlyrecommendednottouse auxiliaryheatinginsucha case.

3.1 Settingtime
Afterpowersupplyisswitchedon,pleasefirstlysetthetimeofthe
system.
ìPress “SystemSetting”button until thesignal “Week_”
displaysonthescreen.
ìPress “ ” “ ” button tosetweekday.
ìPress “Confirm”button tosavethesetting;press “Cancel”
buttontocancelthe setting.

3.2 Temperaturedifferencecirculationfunction
Thesolarcontrolprogramworksonthe principleoftemperaturedifferencecirculation.SolarpumpP1istriggered,
assoonasthe presettemperaturedifference betweencollectorandtankisreached.
ìPress “SystemSetting”button,until “ ” displaysonthe screen.
ìPress “”“ ” buttontoadjuststorage tanktemperature. Default value:60 ,setting range:45~75 .
ìPress “Confirm”buttontosavethe setting. Press “Cancel”buttontocancelthisfunction.
ìAtthesametimethemenushows “10 ”,thedefaultvalueof
switch-ontemperaturedifference.
ìPress “”“ ” buttontoadjustit.Setting range:5~20 .
ìPress “Confirm”button tosavethesetting.Press “Cancel”

Note: Between60~70 scale canformmore easily,we usuallysetthewatertanktemperatureat60 .
3.3 Time-controlledcirculationfunction
Thisfunctionneedsanextracirculationpump(P2).You cansetupatimerprogramwithuptothreetimeperiods.
Thispumpcanbe triggeredattimeswhenhotwaterwill be needed.
Note: Withinthepresetthree timeperiods,pumpP2alwaysstopsfor15minutesafteroperating for3
minutes.
Note: Default setting:thefirsttimeperiod:6:00turning-on,8:00turning-off;thesecondtimeperiod:
10:00~10:00;thethirdtimeperiod:19:00turning-on,21:00 turning-off.Three timeperiodsshouldbeset
withinoneday(24 hours).
ìPress “SystemSetting”,until “ ” displaysonthe screen.
ìPress “ ” “ ” button toadjustthestarttimeand end timeof
firsttimeperiod.Press “ ” button toadjusthours,press “ ”
buttontoadjustminutes.
ìPress “Confirm”buttontoconfirmthesetting,press “Cancel”

ìImmediatelyaftersettingthefirsttime period,thedisplayentersintotheoperatingmenu ofnexttime period.
ìPerformlike above steps,theothertwotime periodscanbe set.
Note: Ifyouwanttoshutoffoneofthethreetimeperiods,youcansetasamevalueforbothstarttime
andend time, e.g.,youcansetboththestartandendtimeofsecondtime periodat10:00am.
3.4 Time-controlledauxiliaryheating
Solarthermalsystemcanbe combinedwithelectric boilerorgas/oilboiler.The systemissupportedwithadefault
programwhichcanbecustomizedtomeetyourindividualneeds.Youcancreateatimerprogramwithuptothree
timeperiodstoheatthewatertoadesiredvalue.During thethreepresettimeperiods,auxiliaryheatingstarts
working,whenthewatertemperatureintoppartofstoragetank(T3)isbelowpresetturning-ontemperature,and
itstopsworking,whenT3exceedstherequiredtemperature.
Note: Defaultsetting:thefirsttimeperiod:4:00 turning-on,5:00turning-off;thesecondtimesection:
10:00~10:00;the thirdtime section:17:00turning-on, 22:00turning-off.
ìPress “System Setting”buttonuntil thesignal “ ” appears.
ìPress “”“ ” buttontosetthestarttimeofthefirsttimeperiod.
Press “ ” toadjusthours,press “ ” buttontoadjustminutes.

3.5 Switchingon/offauxiliaryheatingmanually
Ifyouwanttousewarmwaterimmediately,butthewatertemperaturedoesn treachthedesiredvalue, youcan
switchon/offthe auxiliaryheatingmanually.
ìPress “ChooseFunction”,until “ ” displaysonthe screen.
ìPress “Confirm”buttontoswitchonauxiliaryheatingmanually.
ìPress “Cancel”button toswitchoffauxiliaryheatingmanually.
3.6 Forbid/Permitauxiliaryheating
ìPress “ChooseFunction”button,until “ ” displaysonthe
screen.
ìPress “Confirm”buttontosavethesettingandforbidauxiliary
heating.
ìPress “ChooseFunction”buttonuntil “ ” displayson the
screen.
ìPress “Cancel”button tocancelthe settingand permit auxiliaryheating.
Note: Whenforbidauxiliaryheating,customercan tswitchon/offauxiliaryheatingmanuallyand
time-controlledauxiliaryheatingfunction isalsoautomaticallydeactivated.
3.7 Storagetankoverheatingprotection
Toavoidoverheatingofwaterstoragetank,systemissupportedwithanoverheating protectionfunction.When
thetemperatureoftank (T3)ishigherthanthemaximumtank temperature,eventheconditionoftemperature
difference circulation isreached, solarpumpisstill forbiddentooperate.
ìPress “ChooseFunction”button,until displaysonthe
screen.
ìPress “”“ ” button toadjustthemaximumtank
temperature. Default value:80 ,setting range:60 –90 .
ìPress “Confirm”button toconfirmthesetting,press “Cancel”
