NOTE: This equipment has been tested
and found to comply with the limits for a

designed to provide reasonable protection

situation. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy and if not used in accordance
with the instructions may cause harmful

circumstance. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio and/

determined by turning the equipment off

The AV70 Speaker can easily connect to your mobile phone, tablet
or computer - and also works with many TVs.
It’s built-in microphone allows you to use it for hands-free phone
calls or video conferences.
Initial Operation:
• Connect the included power cable to the Micro USB Connector
and to a 5 volt USB power source. Charge the unit for 10-20 min-
utes or more.
• Turn on the AV70 with a press of the Power button. The power
light will turn blue and you will hear a voice say “Bluetooth Mode...
Pair The Device.”
• At this point open the Bluetooth menu of your phone, tablet, lap-
top or TV, and nd “Other Devices” or “New Devices” When you
nd “ZVOX AV70” click on it - you will then hear a voice announce
“Paired.”
• You can now play music or videos on your device - or make tele-
phone or video calls - and you will hear the audio from the ZVOX
AV70 Speaker.

Adjustments:
•Use the + and - buttons on the AV70 to adjust volume up and
down. NOTE: You can also use the volume controls on your device
to adjust sound levels as well.
• To activate AccuVoice mode, briey press and release the Accu-
Voice button on the AV70. You will hear a voice announce “Accu-
Voice Mode” To return to normal audio mode, press the button
again.
• AccuVoice mode makes voices easier to understand. It can help
you listen to dialogue on movies, sporting events and TV shows.
It can be very helpful in clarifying voices on phone calls and video
conferences. NOTE: There is a microphone built into the AV70
Speaker that allows for hands-free phone and video calls.
Play/Pause Button:
• The play/pause button performs two sets of functions. It allows
you to answer a phone cal and end the call. And when watching
videos it will start and/or pause the playback of the video.
Pairing Additonal Devices:
• The AV70 Speaker can be set up to easily switch between two
Bluetooth devices. Simply use the Bluetooth menu on Device
One to pair to the AV70. Then turn off the Bluetooth function of
Device One and go through the same pairing process with Device
Two. From then on when it is within range of either device, it will
automatically pair to that device. NOTE: If both devices are within
range, you should turn off the Bluetooth function of the device you
will not be using - or you can press the Pair button to disconnect
the currenty connected Bluetooth device. The AV70 can pair to
only one device at a time.
Connection Via 3.5mm Cable:
• You can connect an audio device to the AV70 using the supplied
3.5mm connecting cable. If two devices are connected at the
same time - one by cable and one by Bluetooth - the speaker will
play the cable-connected device. But you can switch to the Blue-
tooth device by briey pressing the Power button.
Overloading The AV70 Speaker:
• We programmed the AV70 so it can produce strong bass output.
Some program material with liud bass can overload the AV70. If
you hear distortion or nitce movement of the speaker, simply turn
down the volume.
