Key applications
This document describes the detail configuration in some of new features in NSA-220 PLUS.
In final part, FAQ, you may also find more information in user guide or knowledge base in
ZyXEL service portal.
1. Auto upload service
ZyXEL NSA-220 PLUS provides users to automatically upload their pictures to Flickr website
(http://www.Flickr.com) and video files to You Tube website (http://www.youtube.com).
Additionally, automatical FTP uploading is supported in NSA-220 PLUS.
1.1 Network topology
The following network environment will be referred for the following auto upload scenarios.
PC and NSA-220 PLUS connect to switch and access to internet through switch.

1.2 Auto-upload pictures to Flickr
For sharing pictures in Flickr website (http://www.Flickr.com), ZyXEL NSA-220 supports
automatically upload picture in given folder in NSA-220 PLUS.
Configuration Procedure:
zEnable auto-upload in Flickr service.
zConfigure the account Flickr account information.
zLink your NSA-220 with your Flickr account.
zSpecify the folders which you want NSA-220 to automatically upload your pictures.
zSpecify the grace period and other options in auto upload function.
zMove pictures to the folders you specify in previous step.
zCheck the result in Flickr website.
zCheck the system log in NSA-220 PLUS.
First, log into the web GUI page in NSA-220 PLUS, go to \Auto Upload\Flickr/YouTube.
Then, enable Flickr service as following figure.

After enabling the Flickr service, you will see two more icons in the same page.
Press “config” icon to set more detail configuration. There will be several system notification
to warn that you are going to link to Flickr website. In the meanwhile, please make sure you
have Flickr account information.
After configuring the account information, system will warn you that the connection to Flickr.
In the following popup browser, you need to authorize the connection between your account
and your NSA-220.

The following figure shows that you agree this link after press “OK” button.
After allowing the agreement in Flickr page, please also press the “Get ready” button in
NSA-220 PLUS.

You also can check the service status in NSA-220 PLUS under “Auto Upload/Flickr/YouTube”
In his case, we can see the storage status in your Fickr account.
Afterwards, users need to set which folder(s) in your NSA-220 PLUS will be monitored and
uploaded to Flickr website. In this example, we are going to set folder named as
“ 2009_SpaceTraveling” under public folder to be monitored and uploaded all the pictures to
Flickr website.

In this example, we configure the grace period as two minutes. This means that NSA-220
PLUS will upload any new added pictures in the folder you specify after fifteen minutes since
you press apply button.
Please specify the given folder that NSA-220 PLU will watch and upload the pictures after
applying configuration. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRESS APPLY BUTTON.

Please remember to press “APPLY” button after specifying the given folder. NSA-220 PLUS
will monitor any need added pictures in the folder you assigned after you press apply button.
After fifteen minutes, NSA-220 PLUS will upload new added photos to Flickr website. IN this
example, we can see one picture has been uploaded to Flcikr website.
