Basicsettings
ConnectionofOfficeRoute
OfficeRoutehasdefaultIPaddress 10.0.0.1andmask255.0.0.0. You can
reachOfficeRoute’swebinterfaceincasethat youassignIPaddress ofyour
PCfromthesamerangeasIPofOfficeRoute.
Incaseyouwant tochangeIPaddress ofOfficeRouteasafirst step,youcan
usesupplied USBcable (itisnecessarytoinstallUSB driver).Run
Hyperterminal (oranotherterminalprogramenablingserialcommunication),
select COMportassignedtoinstalledUSB driver, Setcommunicationspeed
921600bps,flowcontrol:none.Whenyou pressEnter,followingscreen
appears:

IfPINcodeisstored,power-off theunit, mount antennaand insertSIM
card(s). Thenpowerunit on. WhenLEDindicatorsareoff, it meansthatSIMs
areloggedintotoanetwork.IncasethatLEDindicatorshinesorange, there’s
nosignalofpreferrednetworkorPINiswrong.
Log intothe webinterfaceagain.Youcan seeSIMcardsdetailsinthesection
Telephonyservices–Devices–SIMcards.
Select dataSIMcardbyclickingtotheiconwithapenci:

Fill GPRSprovidername (userdefined)and APN (you canfindthis
informationonawebpageof networkprovideroraskhishelpline).
Sometimesusernameand passwordisneeded. Don’tfill GPRSnumber and
GPRSinitialATcommands (thesesettingsarenot neededformost cases).

SaveSIMcardsettings.Switchon connectiontoInternet inthesection
Network–GPRSON/OFF byclickingtoiconwithgreenhandset„GPRS“.
Aftercca30secondsLEDindicatorstartsblinking bygreencolour–it usually
meansthatitisconnected tothe networkofoperator. Fromthismomentit is
connectedevenyourestarttheunit orpoweritoff andon again.
ForusingOfficeRouteasarouterforinternetconnectivityyou havetosetIP
addressofOfficeRouteasDefault gatewayinyouPCandIPaddressesof
DNSservers(displayedin the GPRSwindow).
IPsettingscanbefoundinyourPCin the sectionStart –Control panels–
Networkconnections–Localnetworksettings.
OfficeRouteasDHCPserver
OfficeRoutemayworkalsoasDHCPserver.Youcan setnecessarysettings
in Network–DHCPserver.
IncasethatIPof OfficeRouteis10.0.0.1,then youcanusesettingsfromthe
picturebellow.
ThenIPaddresses10.0.0.2-10.0.0.100areassignedtodevicesin yourLAN.
AlsoitisnecessarytoswitchonDNSproxy in themenu Network–DNS
proxy –tick EnableDNSproxy.

Thereisaroutenamed‘MobileNetworks’onthepicture
whichcontainsallmodules,itisbeingusedduring all
definedtimeintervalswithoutsuppressing CLI(CLI can
besuppressedformobilenetworksonly).

LCR rule –Routingofcallisbasedonthecalled
number.LCR rulebasicallydefinestowhichRoute
dialednumbersarerouted(accordingprefix).

ThereisanexampleofaLCR rule.Destination nameis
userdefined,theruleisappliedtocallednumberswith
prefixes6or7,callisroutedtotheroute‘Mobile
networks’withunknownpriority.Prioritycanbe
accordingfreeminutes,firstfreeorcycle(forfree
minutesandcycleatariff mustbedefinedforeachline
oftheroute).
LCR test –you cantestrouting rulesaftersetting all
routingrulesandroutes.Forrouting testSIMcards
mustbeplacedintheunit inordertohavetestfully
functional.
