Intended Use Statement
The 3M Projector Sleeve for iPhone 4/4S is designed to operate with the Apple®
iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and charge using Apple USB power adapter or computer
USB port in environments that meet these conditions:
z5° to 35°C (41° to 95°F)
z20–80% RH (without condensation)
z0– 3048 m (0–10,000 feet) above sea level
Continued exposure to smoke, grease, oil and other airborne contaminants can
affect the operation or performance of the projector. Use of this product in adverse
conditions will void the product warranty.

instructions prior to the use of this projector. Retain these instructions for future
reference.

The 3M™ Projector Sleeve (the “3M Product”) is warranted to be free from defects
in material or manufacture for a period of 1 year from the date or purchase. If the
product does not conform to the warranty within the warranty period, 3M’s
exclusive obligation is to repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the
non-conforming product. To the extent permitted by law, 3M will not be liable for
indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, irrespective of the legal

Charging the Projector
Charge the projector by
connecting the projector to a
computer or an iPhone Power
Adapter using the USB cable
included with the projector.
NOTE:
i. The battery will take up to 4 hours to
charge.
ii. The Apple iPhone 4/4S Power
Adapter is not included with the
projector.
Charging for iPhone
1. Connect the iPhone to the
projector.
2. Press the iPhone charging
mode button to start or stop
charging for iPhone.

Turning on/off the projector
Press the Power Button for 3
seconds to turn ON or turn OFF
the projector.
Adjusting the Focus
Adjust the focus by using the
focus wheel to get a sharper and
clear picture.
Projecting photos and videos via iPhone native app
1. Select the “Photos” icon on iPhone home screen.
2. Choose the photo or video you want to project.
* Photos can only be projected as a slideshow.
**Please push the volume control button on iPhone to adjust the
volume during playback.

Troubleshooting
Symptom Check Point
The projector will not turn on. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
The projected image is too
dark.
* Use the Projector in a darker
environment.
* Decrease the size of projecting
image.
The projected image is too
blurry.
Adjust the focus by using focus
wheel.
The projector is turned on, but
an image is not projected.
Ensure the App has a TV-out
function.
The temperature of the
projector’s surface is warm.
It is normal for this projector to
generate moderate heat during
normal operation.
When connecting the iPhone
to the projector and an error
message appears on iPhone
screen as shown below.
It may be caused by poor a
connection between iPhone and
the projector. Please reconnect
iPhone and projector, then turn on
the projector again.

Symptom Check Point
The projection image ratio is
distorted.
On the iPhone, switch the
Widescreen setting to "Off" in
Settings>Gerneral>TV out.
Stop video projection
suddenly and automatically.
On the iPhone, switch the Auto-lock
to "Never" in Settings>General.
Only safety logos and
numbers appear are on the
projection screen.
When the projector's power button
is held down for too long, the
projector enters engineering mode.
Press the power button until the
projector turns off, then press the
power button again for 3 seconds.
