Make sure the following

Step 1: Unpack

Before you start using the speaker for the first time, it’s a
good idea to charge it completely.
Step 2: Charge the Speaker
To charge the speaker: Plug the
included micro-USB charging cable into
DC IN jack on the back of the speaker.
Plug the other end of the USB charging
cable into a power source, like a
computer or a USB charging adapter.
The charging indicator on the back of
the speaker is red while the speaker
is charging. It turns green when the
speaker is fully charged.

Step 3: Turn on
Press and hold the button on the
front of the speaker. The speaker
makes its power-up sound and the
indicator light starts on the front of
the speaker starts blinking.
After a few seconds, the speaker
goes to Bluetooth pairing mode to
set up with your smartphone.

If you’ve previously paired your phone or other Bluetooth device with this
speaker, the speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to that device
when you turn it on. If you want to pair to a new device, give a short double-
press to the speaker’s button. The speaker gives an audio signal and its
indicator light starts blinking.
Choose 808 SL2 from the pairing options on your
smartphone. (If it’s not in the list, choose “Scan” from your
phone’s Bluetooth menu.)
The speaker gives an audio signal when it’s finished pairing
and connecting to your smartphone. Its indicator light turns
solid blue.
Note: The process of enabling Bluetooth and connecting varies from device
to device. See your device’s owners manual for more information and specific
instructions.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips
•Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on.
•Make sure there’s nothing plugged into the speaker’s AUX IN jack when you’re
trying to use Bluetooth.
• The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10
meters). This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room
layout, wall material, obstacles, your device’s Bluetooth performance, etc. If
you’re having problems connecting to this speaker, move closer to it.
•If your device asks you for a password to connect, use “0000”.
•If you’ve paired your device with the speaker before but you’re having trouble
reconnecting when you turn the speaker back on, give a short press to the
button while the indicator light on the front of the speaker is flashing. The
speaker will attempt to connect to a previously paired device.

To adjust the volume of your audio: Press the + and –
buttons on the front of the speaker (or use the volume
controls on your phone).
Set your device’s volume for music
to 50%.
Note: This is to make sure the sound from the
speaker isn’t too loud when you start streaming.
Start playing music or other audio
on your device. Within seconds, the
speaker starts streaming the audio
wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Controlling Playback from the speaker
If you’re playing music via Bluetooth, it’s easy to play/
pause and skip tracks from the speaker.
To play/pause: press once on the speaker’s button.
To skip forward: press and hold the speaker’s +button.
To skip backwards: press and hold the speaker’s –
button.

If your paired smartphone features a virtual assistant, like
Siri or Google Assistant, you can use these features with
the SL2 speaker.
To use a virtual assistant from the speaker: Press and
hold the button on the front of speaker until you hear
an audio signal from the assistant (like a double beep
from Siri). Then speak normally (toward the speaker). Your
phone will respond through the speaker.
IMPORTANT: Your phone must be paired and connected to
the speaker in order for this to work!
To use Siri or Google Assistant from your phone: Invoke
Siri or Google Assistant from your phone as you normally
would. Then speak normally (toward the speaker). Your
phone will respond through the speaker.
Using Siri® and Google Assistant™
You can answer, conduct, and end calls from your paired
phone through the SL2 speaker, like a speakerphone.
To answer the call from the speaker: Press the button
on the front of speaker and speak normally (toward the
speaker).
To end the call from the speaker: Press the button on
the front of speaker.
IMPORTANT: Your phone must be paired and connected to
the speaker in order for this to work!

The button has four functions:
• it turns the speaker on and o (press and hold)
• it puts the speaker into pairing mode (short double-
press when the speaker’s on) to connect to a new
Bluetooth device
• it attempts to reconnect to the last paired device
(short single-press when the speaker’s on)
• it plays/pauses playback when audio is playing via
Bluetooth
The button answers and ends phone calls through your
paired phone (press). It also engages voice services on
paired phones that oer these services (press and hold).
Bluetooth indicator shows the Bluetooth status of the
speaker:
• fast blinking blue while pairing
• slow blinking blue while reconnecting
• solid blue when paired
• solid white when the AUX IN jack is in use

Charging indicator
DC IN jack connects to the provided micro USB charging
cable to recharge the speaker’s battery.
AUX IN jack lets you connect an audio device directly to the
speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable.
Turning the 808 Sounds On and O
(Silent Mode)
The 808 Hex SL2 speaker provides status/alert sounds when you
turn the speaker on and o, as well as when you’re pairing.
To turn status/alert sounds on/o: press and hold the + and –
buttons on front of the speaker (while it’s on) until the speaker
beeps twice.

Avant de commencer à utiliser le haut-parleur pour la première fois,
il est conseillé de le charger complètement.
Étape 2 : Charger le haut-parleur
Pour charger le haut-parleur : Brancher le
câble de chargement micro-USB inclus dans la
prise DC IN située à l’arrière du haut-parleur.
Brancher l’autre extrémité du câble de charge-
ment USB sur une source d’alimentation,
comme un ordinateur ou un adaptateur
chargeur USB.
Le voyant de charge à l’arrière du haut-parleur
est rouge pendant la charge. Il devient vert
lorsque le haut-parleur est complètement
chargé.

Étape 3 : Activer
Appuyer sur le bouton situé à l’avant
du haut-parleur et le maintenir enfoncé.
Le haut-parleur émet son signal sonore
de mise en marche et le voyant à l’avant
du haut-parleur clignote.
Après quelques secondes, le haut-parleur
passe en mode d’appariement Bluetooth
pour se configurer avec le téléphone
intelligent.
Activer la fonction Bluetooth du
téléphone intelligent ou de tout
autre appareil.
Vérifier que le voyant situé à
l’avant du haut-parleur clignote
rapidement. (Dans le cas contraire,
appuyer rapidement deux fois sur

Si votre téléphone ou tout autre appareil Bluetooth a été apparié antérieurement au
haut-parleur, celui-ci, lorsqu’il est allumé, essaie automatiquement de se reconnecter
à cet appareil. Pour apparier le haut-parleur à un nouvel appareil, appuyer rapidement
deux fois sur le bouton du haut-parleur. Le haut-parleur émet signal sonore et le
voyant commence à clignoter.
Sélectionner 808 SL2 dans les options d’appariement de votre
téléphone intelligent. (S’il ne figure pas sur la liste, choisir
« Balayer/Scan » dans le menu Bluetooth du téléphone.)
Le haut-parleur émet un signal sonore lorsque l’appariement et la
connexion à votre téléphone intelligent sont terminés. Le voyant
devient bleu fixe.
Remarque : Le processus d’activation Bluetooth et de connexion varie d’un appareil
à l’autre. Se reporter au manuel du propriétaire de l’appareil pour obtenir des
informations supplémentaires et des instructions spécifiques.
Conseils pour la connexion sans fil Bluetooth
• Vérifier que la fonction Bluetooth de l’appareil est activée.
• Vérifier que rien n’est branché dans la prise AUX IN du haut-parleur lorsqu’il s’agit
d’utiliser Bluetooth.
• La connexion sans fil Bluetooth dispose d’une portée d’environ 10 m (33 pi).
Cependant, cette portée peut varier en fonction d’autres facteurs, tels que
l’agencement de la pièce, le matériau des murs, les obstacles, la performance
Bluetooth de votre appareil, etc. En cas de problème de connexion avec ce haut-
parleur, s’en rapprocher.
• Si l’appareil demande un mot de passe pour se connecter, utiliser « 0000 ».
• Si l’appareil a déjà été apparié avec le haut-parleur auparavant mais qu’il présente
des dicultés pour se reconnecter quand le haut-parleur est rallumé, appuyer
brièvement sur le bouton lorsque le voyant à l’avant du haut-parleur clignote.
Le haut-parleur eectuera une tentative de connexion à un appareil apparié
précédemment.

Réglage du volume audio : Appuyer sur les boutons + et – sur
l’avant du haut-parleur (ou utiliser les commandes de volume
du téléphone).
Réduire le volume sonore de l’appareil à
50 % pour écouter de la musique.
Remarque : Cela permet de s’assurer que le son émis
par le haut-parleur n’est pas trop fort lorsque démarre
la diusion en flux.
Démarrer l’écoute de musique ou de
toute autre source audio sur l’appareil. En
quelques secondes, le haut-parleur diuse
l’audio en flux sans fil via Bluetooth.

Commande de lecture depuis le haut-parleur
Si l’écoute de la musique est eectuée depuis Bluetooth, il est
facile d’écouter / suspendre et de sauter des pistes depuis le
haut-parleur.
Pour écouter/suspendre : appuyer une fois sur le bouton du
haut-parleur.
Pour passer au morceau suivant : appuyer sur le bouton +et
le maintenir enfoncé.
Pour revenir au morceau précédent : appuyer sur le bouton –et
le maintenir enfoncé.

Si le téléphone intelligent apparié au haut-parleur dispose d’un
assistant virtuel comme Siri ou Google Assistant, il est possible
d’utiliser ces fonctionnalités avec le haut-parleur SL2.
Utilisation d’un assistant virtuel depuis le haut-parleur : Appuyer
sur le bouton à l’avant du haut-parleur et le maintenir enfoncé
jusqu’à entendre un signal sonore émis par l’assistant (comme un
bip double de Siri). Puis parler normalement (vers le haut-parleur).
Le téléphone répond via le haut-parleur.
IMPORTANT : Votre téléphone doit être apparié et connecté au
haut-parleur pour que cela fonctionne!
Utilisation de Siri ou Google Assistant depuis le téléphone :
Invoquer Siri ou Google Assistant depuis votre téléphone comme
d’habitude. Puis parler normalement (vers le haut-parleur). Le
téléphone répond via le haut-parleur.
Utilisation de Siri® et Google Assistant™
Un appel peut être pris, mené et terminé depuis le téléphone apparié
au haut-parleur SL2 comme avec un téléphone haut-parleur.
Pour prendre un appel depuis le haut-parleur : Appuyer sur
le bouton à l’avant du haut-parleur et parler normalement
(vers le haut-parleur).
Pour terminer un appel depuis le haut-parleur : Appuyer sur
le bouton à l’avant du haut-parleur.
IMPORTANT : Votre téléphone doit être apparié et connecté au
haut-parleur pour que cela fonctionne!

Présentation du 808 SL2
Avant de l’appareil
Les boutons – / + baissent ou
augmentent le volume sonore du
haut-parleur. Ils eectuent aussi
un saut avant ou arrière (appuyer
et maintenir enfoncé) lorsque le son est en cours de lecture via
Bluetooth.
Le bouton dispose de quatre fonctions :
• il allume ou éteint le haut-parleur (appuyer et maintenir
enfoncé)
• il met le haut-parleur en mode d’appariement (double pression
rapide quand le haut-parleur est allumé) pour lui permettre
de se connecter à un nouvel appareil Bluetooth
• il eectue une tentative de reconnexion au dernier appareil
apparié (appui unique rapide quand le haut-parleur est allumé)
• il joue/suspend la lecture lorsque le son est en cours de lecture
via Bluetooth
Le bouton permet de prendre et de terminer les appels
téléphoniques via le téléphone apparié (appui). Il permet d’engager
les services vocaux sur les téléphones appariés qui orent ces
services (appui prolongé).
Le voyant Bluetooth indique l’état de connexion Bluetooth du
haut-parleur :
• bleu clignotant rapidement pendant l’appariement
• bleu clignotant lentement pendant une reconnexion
• bleu continu lorsque l’appariement est terminé
• blanc continu lorsque la prise AUX IN est utilisée

Voyant de charge
La prise DC IN (Entrée c.c.) permet de connecter le câble de
chargement micro-USB fourni afin de recharger la batterie
du haut-parleur.
La prise AUX IN permet de connecter un appareil audio directement
au haut-parleur au moyen d’un câble audio de 3,5 mm.
Activer et désactiver le son du 808 (Mode silencieux)
Le haut-parleur 808 Hex SL2 émet un son d’état/d’alarme lors
de l’activation et la désactivation du haut-parleur ainsi que
lors de l’appariement.
Pour activer/désactiver le son d’état/d’alarme : appuyer et
maintenir enfoncés les boutons + et - sur l’avant du haut-parleur
(pendant qu’il est activé) jusqu’à ce qu’il émette deux
signaux sonores.

Paso 3: Enciéndalo
Oprima y no suelte el botón en la parte
anterior del altavoz. El altavoz emite un
sonido de energización y la luz indicadora
en la parte anterior del altavoz comienza
a parpadear.
Después de unos segundos, el altavoz
pasa al modo de sincronización Bluetooth
para configurar con su teléfono
inteligente.

Si anteriormente sincronizó su teléfono u otro dispositivo Bluetooth con este altavoz,
el altavoz intentará automáticamente reconectarse a ese dispositivo cuando lo
encienda. Si desea sincronizarse a un nuevo dispositivo, oprima brevemente el
botón del altavoz dos veces. El altavoz emite una señal de audio y su luz
indicadora comienza a parpadear.
Seleccione 808 SL2 de las opciones de sincronización en su teléfono
inteligente. (Si no aparece en la lista, seleccione “Scan” [Explorar]
