Product information
The ARCC is a ceramic cooker that makes use of infrared heat to cook food. It is suitable for the
modern family cooking.
One of the advantages of this cooker is that you can use any pots/pans such as iron, copper,
ceramic, and marmite. Even heat-resistant glass and utensils could be used.
This cooker is multi-function as it can steam, boil, fry and bake. It is environment-friendly as this
does not produce fire, smoke and carbon monoxide. And lastly, it is user friendly as it features
intelligent micro-computer control.
Protection feature
This cooker has been designed to protect the user if the following occurs.
Over-heat – The unit will stop working automatically if the temperature of the panel is over 650
degrees Celsius or the inside of the unit is over 100 degrees Celsius°.
Voltage protection - The unit will stop working automatically if the voltage is below 140V or over
275V.
Before using
Read the instructions properly before using the unit.
1. Remove all packaging including protective foam/cellophane and labels.
2. Dispose the packaging properly and keep it out of reach of children.
3. Ensure that all parts are complete as shown/mentioned in this manual.
Safety Measures
Use the appliance only for its intended domestic use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not plug the power cord into the socket with wet hands.
Place it on a flat and dry surface. Make sure the unit is out of reach by children.
The location of the infrared cooker must have sufficient space. The unit must be kept at a
distance of at least 10cms from the wall and ensure that the front and sides of the
appliance are clear as well.
Keep the appliance away from objects that are affected by magnet like spoons, forks
among others.
Do not place the appliance on a carpet, tablecloth or any other low heat resistant
materials.
Do not put any paper in between the pot/pan and the infrared cooker as the paper may
get burned.
Do not break the surface and if the surface is cracked. Turn off the appliance
immediately and call a qualified service centre technician.
Ensure the air intake or exhaust vent is not block.
Ensure that the power cord is well kept whether in use or not.
Do not put metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and alike on top of the plate.

Do not touch the top plate right after removing the pot/pan as the top plate may still be
very hot.
Always use pot holders when removing the pot/pan from the unit or moving from the unit
to another flat surface.
Do not use the appliance without putting any compatible cookware.
Before plugging in
Make sure your electricity supply is the same with the required voltage of the appliance.
Do not plug into a wall socket if ampere is less than 10A.
Do not plug into a wall socket where there are other appliances plugged in.
Do not use the product if power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the
manufacturer or an authorized reseller/distributor.

How to operate the cooker
1. Place the cooker on a flat surface. Now use appropriate cookware at the centre of the
glass plate.
2. Plug the power cord into the power outlet then center screen will show ‘---‘ which means
the unit is on standby mode.
3. Press ON/OFF to turn it on then the center screen will show ‘ON’.
4. Press MANUAL FUNCTION to select different cooking modes. There are five options as seen
on the image above.
5. To switch off the cooker, press again ON/OFF and wait until the screen turns to gray
before unplugging the power cord.
6. HOT warning indicator on the upper left on the cooker’s control panel will keep on
blinking until the cooking zone is back to safe degree
Getting to know the functions
ON/OFF – Press this symbol to turn on and off the appliance.
MANUAL FUNCTION – To use this function press ON/OFF and make sure its led is on then
press Manual Function. After that, select any desired cooking function to use.
STIR FRY – To use this function, press MANUAL FUNCTION then press STIR FRY and its led will
turn on. If you want more power or temperature then press the up arrow and if you want
lesser power or temperature then press the down arrow.
HOT SPOT – To use this function, press MANUAL FUNCTION then press HOT POT and its led
will turn on. If you want more power or temperature then press down arrow and if you
want lesser power or temperature then press up arrow.
BOIL – To use this function, press MANUAL FUNCTION then press BOIL and its led will turn on.
You cannot adjust the temperature and timer while it is working on this function.
STEWING - To use this function, press MANUAL FUNCTION then press STEWING and its led will
turn on. You cannot adjust the temperature and timer while it is working on this function.
GRILL – To use this function, press MANUAL FUNCTION then press STIR FRY and its led will
turn on. You can adjust the temperature and timer while it is working on this function.

TIMER – To use this function press TIMER and screen will turn on and blink for 10 seconds
before it will show the fix time setting. You can adjust it simply pressing down arrow and up
arrow. The timer can be adjusted from 1 minute to 12 hours. To cancel the time setting,
press TIMER again.
K/W – While cooking, press this symbol to check the electricity consumption and voltage.
The screen will show the data.
HOT – During and after cooking, if HOT indicator is still on it means the temperature is too
hot to be touched by hand. Once temperature cools down to safe degree, it will turn off
on its own.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Turn off the appliance by pressing ON/OFF and wait until the light turns off. Once
off, unplug the power cord properly.
Wait for some time and let the appliance cool down.
You can use mild detergent or dishwashing liquid with a soft cloth to remove dirt.
Do not clean it with running water or immerse it in water as water will get inside and
damage the appliance.
Always make sure that the top plate and the pan/pot is clean before cooking as
the dirt from the pan/pot will stick to the plate and plate will get discoloured.
You may clean the air vent by vacuum cleaner to suck up the dirt or you can use
cotton if the dirt is with oil. Toothbrush with little soap can also be used to clean the
surface as long as you use it gently on the appliance.
Do not use abrasives or strong detergents as it may get chemical reaction.
After dirt has been removed, use a dry, soft cloth to wipe dry the appliance.
Troubleshooting
Below are some common queries on the appliance. Please read and understand the basic
steps as it may save you time.

Infrared cooker shuts
off while in use
There are objects blocking the
vent holes of the appliance.
Fluids are spilled and hit the
controls of the appliance.
There are objects lying near the
controls of the appliance.
Ensure that there are no other
appliances or objects that are too near
the cooker.
Remove objects that are blocking the
vent holes.
If spillage happens, clean it right away.
Infrared cooker does
not heat the food
The appliance is off.
The ON/OFF switch is not
pressed.
The cookware used is
incorrect.
The firepower or the
cooking function is
incorrect.
The cookware is not placed
on the center of the cooker
zone.
Plug the power cord properly.
Press the ON switch and make sure it led
will light up.
Use the right pan/pot or cookware to
heat the food.
Make sure the cooking function type,
temperature and timer are set correctly.
Recipe
Spinach and Feta Pasta
Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups chopped tomatoes
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cups spinach leaves, packed
salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch red pepper flakes
8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled

Directions
Put a large pot over the cooker and pour water with a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Add the
pasta and cook in boiling water until al dente and drain.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and
cook until golden brown.
Mix in the tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Cook for 2 more minutes until tomatoes are heated through and spinach is wilted.
Reduce the heat to medium and stir pasta and feta cheese, and cook until heated through.
