In live multiple division display mode: selects one channel.
In setup menu: used to select an menu item.
In data entry mode: finishes data entry
MENU button
MENU Enter to Menu Mode
In live display mode: enters into system setup display. Then turn off the
system or set system configuration.
PTZ button
PTZ Enter to Menu Mode
In live display mode, enter into PTZ camera control mode. Then control pan
and tilt using ▲| ►| ▼| ◄buttons.
SEARCH button
SEARCH Enter to Video Search Mode
In live display mode: enters into video search mode. Then trieve video by
time, date, or event.
SEQ button
SEQ Enter to Video Display Sequencing Mode
(See MODE button description)
In live display mode: enters into display sequencing mode. When screen
division can accommodate less cameras (e.g. screen display division selected
is 9 division and the system is 16 channel system), camera images are

displayed in groups (e.g. images of first 9 cameras are displayed and followed
by next 7 camera images. Then followed by first 9, alternating.).
MODE button
MODE Changes screen display division
Following screen divisions are possible.
Single 4 division 4,8,16 channel system
6 division 8 division
9 division 8,16 channel system
10 division 13 division
16 division 16 channel system
Jog / Shuttle
JOG Device for Frame search
One frame is replayed to the forward direction per each movement of JOG in
case of the clockwise direction. Previous key frame is replayed per each
movement of JOG in case of backward replay mode. Key frame is the frame
that has complete image in MPEG.
SHUTTLE Device for Speed search
Forward and backward replay of video. Display speed can vary from 1X, 2X,
4X, 8X, 16X or 32X of normal (1X) speed.
When audio playback is enabled, forward or backward speed will not change
and remain at normal speed.
ESC Button
ESC Cancel current mode or Return to previous selection

Emergency Recording Start / Stop
By pressing this button, all channels start recording at maximum recording
using CIF resolution, regardless of recording setup. During the emergency
recording period, the current time is displayed by blue and dark green from
yellow color display.
USB 2.0 Ports
USB Ports
For connecting USB stick memory, USB CD/RW and USB HDD as
backup devices.

Dynamic PTZ:
The PTZ icon ( ) appears when a camera is defined as a PTZ camera.

Motion & Alarm Sensor Indicator
Blue: No motion -- in the alarm sensor mode.
Yellow: Motion detected -- in the continuous or alarm sensor mode.
Red: Motion detected -- in the alarm sensor mode.
Blue: No Alarm -- occurs in the alarm mode.
Yellow: Alarm triggered -- in the continuous or alarm sensor mode.
Red: Alarm triggered -- in the alarm sensor mode.
Screen division selection button.
;Screen division selection buttons are normally not displayed. These buttons appear
when mouse hovers over these button positions (bottom, center of surveillance
screen).
Division screen mode is changed by pressing the middle wheel button of the mouse
Screen rotates based on sequence order in the current screen mode.

System temperature status:
(Blue) : The system temperature is within specified range.
(Red) : The system temperature is higher than specified range.
Range can be set up at:

HDD storage space utilization status:
(Blue): sufficient recording space.
(Yellow): recording is close to reaching the space limit setup value by user.

Main Menu
Main Menu Activation
Main menu is shown at the left bottom of the screen when pressing the
right button of the mouse.
Not all user have access to all menu items. For users, access to menu
item are granted by administrative user.
Main Menu
System, device, record, network, event setup is possible and only
administrator can do this. This item needs very careful control due to its
status of system operation
Search
Recorded data can be searched by various type such as calendar
search/motion search/event search)
Back Up
Backup is possible to CD/DVD-RW and external USB backup device.
Digital PTZ
Zoom In/Out and movement is possible for the surveillance screen.
Freeze
Freeze function for the surveillance screen for the temporary period of
time.
Dynamic PTZ
Zoom In/Out/movement/focus control are possible for the surveillance
screen when PTZ module is connected.

Screen Operations
1. Full screen display
To view one camera images using full screen.
Using Mouse Using Remote Using Keypad

Digital PTZ
Digital PTZ is a PTZ emulation function. On activation of digital PTZ, image is enlarged digitally (2X) so
the image details can be seen. Due to enlargement, whole image cannot be fit in the (physical) display
screen. The area of enlarged image displayed on the screen is called “viewing window” (or “view
port”). The view port can be moved to display different area of the enlarged image.
Digital PTZ feature is supported in both live and search mode.
Activating Digital PTZ Feature
Select a camera
Select “Digital PTZ” item on the main menu. The main menu can be
displayed by a right mouse button click from the main screen.
User login is required to use this feature.
Using Digital PTZ Feature
Move mouse to edge of image.
Arrow button will appear.
Click on left mouse button.
It will move (pan and/or tilt) view port
to direction of the arrow .
Returning to normal mode from “Digital PTZ” mode.
Right click – Main menu will appear
Select “Ddigital PTZ” – Will return to normal mode.

Freeze
Freeze function “pauses” live video. This feature is useful when you want to stop the live motion to
examine video image.
This function pauses live display only. Recording and other process continues in
background.
To “Freeze” live image
Select a camera
Select “Freeze” item on the main menu. The main menu can be displayed
by a right mouse button click from the main screen.
User login is required to use this feature.
To cancel “Free”
Select “Freeze” from the main menu.

Dynamic PTZ
Dynamic PTZ functions are used to control the pan, tilt and zoom functions of the PTZ cameras.
To activate “Dynamic PTZ”
Select a PTZ camera. A camera must be a PTZ camera and must be
registered as a PTZ camera.
Select “Dynamic PTZ” item on the main menu. The main menu can be
displayed by a right mouse button click from the main screen.
User login is required to use this feature.
Using Dynamic PTZ Features
Move mouse to edge of image.
Arrow button will appear.
Click on left mouse button.
It will move (pan and/or tilt) view port
to direction of the arrow .
ZOOM [+]
Move mouse to center (upper) left of the screen – Zoom[+] will appear.
Press the left button – the PTZ camera will ZOOM IN.
ZOOM [-]
Move mouse to center (upper) right of the screen - ZOOM [-] will appears
