Setup
Remove battery cover on the back of the Fluorotek 200 by gently pressing
the corrugated section and pulling the cover toward the bottom of the unit.
Install 4-AA batteries on the back side of the Fluorotek 200 in the
orientation drawn on the battery compartment.
Replace the battery cover by inserting it into the groves and pushing it up
toward the top of the unit.
Turn the unit on by sliding the switch on the top right of the Fluorotek 200
to the left.

Example Measurement Procedure for E. coli
Turn on the unit by sliding the switch on the top right of the Fluorotek 200
to the left.
Press the Measure button.
Press the Ch 360 to select the specific wavelength for the E. coli test.
Add 2 drops of buffer solution to a cotton swab provided with the test kit.
Rub the surface to be tested with the cotton swab.
Place the swab into the pre-filledtest vial provided with the test kit.
Remove swab & add two drops of reagent topre-filled test vial.
Remove the plastic light shield from Fluorotek 200 sample chamber.
Place testvialinto Fluorotek 200 with the tab facing the AccuStrata logo.
Replace the plastic light shield on the Fluorotek 200 sample chamber.
Press the Blank button.
Press the Measure button.
Wait for the 10-minute timer to complete.
A measurement will automatically be taken after 10 minutes.
Compare measured results to the threshold limit provided with the E. coli
test kit.
If the value on the screen is higher than the threshold limit, then E. coli has
been detected. The threshold value will be provided with test kit.
