withflammablematerial.Itmustalsonotbe
usednearflammablematerialbecausethe
straightenerplatesreachatemperatureof
approx.210°C!
• Nevercoverthestraighteningplates
withanyobject.
• Theappliancemustneverbeswitchedonwhen
theplatesareclampedtogether.Ensurethatthe
applianceisopen
• Removetheplugfromthepowersupply:
-Iftheappliancedoesnotfunctionproperly
-Beforecleaning
-Aftereveryuse
• Donotpullthemaincableand/orcarrythe
appliancebymeansusingthecable
• Neverusetheapplianceinthebathroom.

Use instruction
Switching on the appliance
• Connecttheapplianceintothepowersupply
andswitchontheapplianceusingtheON/OFF
button.
• Thepilotindicatorlightwillturnon.
• Allowtheappliancetoreachmaximum
temperaturebeforeuse,inabout60seconds.
Straightening hair
• Holdtheapplianceatthehandle,alwaysata
safedistancefromskinandeyes.Useamirror.
• Combthehairwellbeforestraightening,
ensuringtherearenotanglesorknots.
• Partyourhairintoapprox.4cmstrands.
• Holdtheappliancewithonehand,whilethe
otherhandisholdingthestrandofhair.
• Placethestrandofhairinbetweentheplates,
startingfromtheroots.Holdtheplatestightby
pressingthehandletogether.
• Holdfor2-3secondsandslidethestrandfrom
theheadtowardsthetipendsofthehair.DOnot
holdthehairbetweentheplatesformorethan
2-3seconds.
• Repeatuntilyourhairisasstraight
asyoudesire.
• Stylethenextstrand,ensuringthatthenext
strandoverlapwiththepreviousstrand.
Afterfinishingstyling,letyourhaircooldownand
thencombitthrough.



Curling :
• Holdtheapplianceatthehandle,alwaysata
safedistancefromskinandeyes.Useamirror.
• Combthehairwellbeforecurling,ensuring
therearenotanglesorknots
• Partyourhairintoapproximately4cmstrands.
• Placethestrandofhairinbetweenthe
straightenerplates.
• Beginfromtheroot,rollingthehairaroundthe
appliance.Keepingaverticalposition.
• Asyourolltowardstheend,releaseslowlythe
curledsectionofthehairstrandwhileusingone
handtocontinuouslyrollthehairuntilyougetto
theendtips.
Switching off the appliance
Switchofftheapplianceusingthepowerswitch.
Repair and Maintenance
Thisappliancedoesnotcontainanyuser
serviceableparts.Donottrytorepairthe
applianceyourself.Alwaystakeittothe
manufacture,itsserviceagentorsimilarlyqualified
personnel.

inspectedandtestedbeforebeingdispatchedandisfree
frommechanicalandelectricaldefectsandcomplieswith
theapplicablesafetystandards.However,shoulddefects
due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under
normal use, within 6 months from the date of purchase
pleasereturntheproducttothestorefromwhereitwas
purchasedforafullrefundorreplacement.
Thefollowingconditionsapply:
1)Pleaseensureyouretainyourreceiptasthismustbe
presentedwhenmakingaclaimunderthetermsofthe
guarantee.Itisimpossibletodeterminetheguarantee
periodwithoutproofofpurchase,sopleasekeepthis
inasafeplace.
2)If a refund or exchange is required the product must
becompletewithallaccessories,partsandpackaging.
Missingpartswillrendertheguaranteevoid.
3)Uponreceiptofyourappliancecheckitforanytransport
damage to ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the
store as soon as possible for exchange if damaged.
The guarantee is void if products are damaged after
use,sopleasedonotusethedamagedproduct.
4)Failuretoreadandcomplywiththeinstructionsforuse,
cleaningandmaintenancewillrenderyourguarantee
void, so please read these instructions carefully to
ensureyoursafety,andgetthemosteffectiveusefrom

insectinfestation)
5)Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use
or care will render the guarantee void and Creative
Housewares(Pty)Ltdwillnotbeliableforanylossor
damage.
6)Anyattemptedrepair,orreplacementofunauthorised
partswillrendertheguaranteevoid,sopleasecontact
anauthorisedservicecentreoragentforanyserviceor
repairrequirements.
Extended12MonthLimitedGuarantee
Aceofferanextended12monthlimitedguaranteefrom
thedateofpurchasetooffertheconsumerpeaceofmind
ontheirpurchase.Should defects duetofaultymaterial
or workmanship develop, under normal use, within 12
months from the date of purchase, please return the
product to the store from where it was purchased for
replacement.
Beforereturningyourproduct,checkforthefollowing:
1.Your mains supply socket is working and
switchedon.
2.Themainssupplycircuitisnotoverloaded(Whitetrip
switchonyourDBboardisoff).
3.You have read the trouble shooting guide in your
InstructionsforUse.
4.Allaccessoriesandpartsarepresent.
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the
guarantee period, this service is still available however
all transport/postage, spares and labour costs will be
paidbytheconsumer.Allchargeablerepairswillrequire
the consumers’ approval in writing once the quote is
accepted.Oncethego-aheadhasbeenreceivedAcewill
undertaketoconducttherepairwithinareasonabletime
andmaintaintheconditionoftheproductasreceived.
Allrepairscarrya3monthguarantee.Acewillattemptto
conductrepairswithinreasonableindustrystandardsbut
cannotbeheldresponsibleorliableforanycircumstances
notundertheirdirectcontrol.
