1. Remove twelve (12) screws from the base cover
2. Using a scribe, carefully pry open the base cover starting from the gap between the base cover and top assembly next to the LCD
hinge (as indicated in yellow)
3. Slide the scribe along the edges of the base cover in the direction indicated until all the latches have been released
4. Lift the base cover from the left side of the system and remove the base cover from the system in the direction indicated.

5. Disconnect the cable of battery.
Note: Only replace the WLAN module if the customer reports the WiFi connection issue; to skip the WLAN module replacement
process, you can skip to step 13 for adding the rubbers.
And, please be informed that we need NS/RO to keep the replaced WLAN modules for Quanta to pick up.
For EMEA, please send the replaced WLAN modules to Asplex.

6. Disconnect WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module.
7. Remove one (1) screw securing the WLAN module in place.
8. Remove the WLAN module from the mainboard connector

9. Insert the new WLAN module into the mainboard connector.
10. Install one (1) screw to secure the WLAN module in place.
11. Connect the MAIN antenna (black-color) to the WLAN MAIN pin.
12. Connect the AUX antenna (white-color) to the WLAN AUX pin.

13. Place the Square rubber (PN: GAZHR009010) on wifi connector area of MB show as figure.
(Align pin of wifi con, place the rubber between solder pin of wifi con and component)
14. Connect the Battery cable to battery connecter

15. Place the base cover onto the top assembly ensuring that the base cover fits into the top assembly.
16. Press along the sides of the base cover to engage all latches Press along the sides of the base cover to engage all latches
17.Install twelve (12) screws to secure the base cover in place
