For your convenience record the complete model number and the date you received the product,
together with your purchase receipt and attach to the warranty and service information. Retain in
the event that warranty service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identication plate) is based on specic
loading tests. Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw signicantly less
power.
Important safeguards
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

indicated on the product identication plate.

purchase for inspection, repair or placement.

• Switch o and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts

• Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not
disassemble this appliance.
• Improper use of the earthing can result in electric shock. Do not plug into a socket until
appliance is properly installed and earthed.

TWOROUNDPIN PLUG
This appliance must be earthed. In the event of an electrical short circuit,
earthing reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the
electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an earthing wire
with an earthing plug. The plug must be plugged into a socket that is properly
installed and earthed.
Consult a qualied electrician or serviceman if the earthing instructions are
not completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is
properly earthed. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord.
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled
in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. If a long cord set or extension cord is used:
a) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as high as
the electrical rating of the appliance.
b) The extension cord must be an earthing type 3-wire cord.
c) The long cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop
where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): the Acme appliance complies with all standards regarding
electromagnetic elds.
For your safety
• Always operate the product in accordance with these use instructions.
• Do not operate the product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions
or appears damaged in any manner. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for

Operating instructions
• IfyouintendtousetheapplianceasaHorizontalGrill,opentheunitandturnupButton(2).
The Grill Plates open 180° in the horizontal position.
• Thetemperaturecontrols(4)areusedtosetandmaintainthetemperatureofthecooking
surface. You may vary the setting of the control knob at any time during cooking, and may
wish to do so depending on the types of foods on the cooking plate.
• Itmaytakeupto8minutestoreachoperatingtemperature,dependingonthetemperature
level that was set. When the thermostat has reached operating temperature, a green
indicator light inside the chosen control will indicate that the appliance is ready for cooking.
During operation, the light will continue to turn on and o as the thermostat regulates the
temperature. This is normal.
• Alwaysexercisecautionwhenhandlingtheapplianceduringcooking.Toopentheappliance,
grasp the black plastic area of the handle. This part of the handle stays cool to the touch while
cooking.
• Thearmsaremadeofdie-castaluminiumandwillbecomehotduringuse.Donottouchthem
during or immediately following cooking.
• Theappliancehousingwillbecomehotduringuse.
• Thecoverismadeofstainlesssteelandwillbecomeveryhotandshouldnotbetouched
during or immediately following cooking. If you need to adjust the cover, be sure to use an
oven mitt to prevent burns.
• Thelowerhousingismadeofplastic,andwhileitwillbecomeverywarmitwillnotburnyou.

If you need to move the appliance during cooking, be sure to handle it from the base only. Do
not touch the cover.
• Allowtheappliancetocooldownbeforehandling(letatleast30minuteselapse).
Usage
CAUTION: Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food. All food must be completely
defrosted before cooking it with this product.
NOTE: The rst few times this product is used, it may produce some smoke. This is normal and will
subside with further use.
1. Before using this product for the rst time, clean it as described in the “Cleaning” section.
Make sure to replace the Drip Tray.
2. Open the unit by pulling the Handle up.
3. Since the appliance has a non-stick coated surface, the use of butter or oil is optional.
4. Close the Plates and turn the unit on by plugging it into a standard electrical outlet. Verify that
the Power Indicator Light shows orange.
WARNING: The Cooking Plates and metal surfaces of the unit will become extremely hot when in use.
To avoid a burn hazard, wear heat resistant mitts or gloves and touch only the black portion of the
Handle.
5. After the unit preheats for approximately ve minutes, the Ready Indicator Light will show
green, indicating the product is ready for use.
6. Use the Handle to lift the Upper Plate. Place food on the Lower Plate using wooden or plastic
heat-resistant utensils.
CAUTION: Do not use metal utensils on this product, as they will scratch and damage the Plates’ non-
stick coating.

7. Use the Handle to lower and rest the Upper Plate on top of the food.
NOTES:
 •Thecookingtimefordierentfoodsdependsonthetypeandthicknessofthefoods.
 •Foodsshouldbecookedthoroughlybeforeconsumption.
8. When the food is cooked to your liking, lift the Handle to open the Plates, then remove the
food using the utensils. If more cooking will be done at this time, close the Plates to conserve
heat.
9. Turn o the product by unplugging the Power Lead from the electrical outlet.
10. When the unit has completely cooled, clean and dry it.
Cleaning
• Beforecleaning,unplugandwaitfortheapplianceandtheplatestocooldown.
• Wipetheoutsidewithonlyaslightlymoistenedclothensuringthatnomoisture,oilorgrease
enters the cooling slots.
• Wipetheplateswithadampclothortowel.

damage the nish.

KIŠTUKAS SU DVIEM APVALIAIS KAIŠTELIAIS
Prietaisas turi būti įžemintas. Trumpojo elektros jungimo atveju įžeminimas
sumažina elektros smūgio riziką nukreipdamas elektros srovę į žemę. Prietaiso
maitinimo laidas ir kištukas yra su įžeminimo kontaktu. Kištuką reikia įkišti į
tinkamai sumontuotą ir įžemintą kištukinį lizdą.
Jei nesuprantate įžeminimo nurodymų ar abejojate dėl atlikimo,
pasikonsultuokite su kvalikuotu elektriku ar prižiūrinčiu asmeniu, kad
prietaisą įžemintumėte tinkamai. Jei reikalingas ilgintuvas, naudokite tik
ilgintuvą su trimis laidais.

Naudojimo instrukcijos
• Jeiprietaisasbusnaudojamaskaiphorizontalikepsninė,jįatidarykiteirnuspauskitemygtuką
(2). Kepsninės grotelės atsidarys 180° horizontalioje padėtyje.
• Temperatūrosvaldikliais(4)nustatomairpalaikomakepimopaviršiaustemperatūra.Kepdami
bet kada galite keisti valdymo rankenėlės padėtį ir nustatymus, atsižvelgdami į tai, koks
maistas ruošiamas.
• Kepimo temperatūrai pasiekti gali prireikti iki 8 minučių (priklausomai nuo to, kokia
temperatūra buvo nustatyta). Kai termostate bus palaikoma darbinė temperatūra, užsidegs
žalia lemputė ir prietaisas bus paruoštas maistui kepti. Naudojamo prietaiso lemputė vis
užges ir išsijungs, nes termostatas reguliuos temperatūrą. Tai normalu.
• Kepdamibūkiteatidūs.Norėdamiprietaisąatidaryti,suimkiteužjuodosplastikinėsrankenos.
Kepimo metu ši rankenos dalis neįkaista.

• Gaubtas pagamintas iš nerūdijančio plieno ir labai įkaista, tad kepimo metu ar iškart po
to jo nereikėtų liesti. Prieš pradėdami reguliuoti gaubtą, užsimaukite virtuvinę pirštinę –
nenudegsite.
• Apatiniskorpusaspagamintasišplastiko,tačiaunenudegins,norskepimometusušyla.Jei
kepimo metu prietaisą norite perkelti, imkite tik už jo pagrindo. Nelieskite gaubto.

Naudojimas
DĖMESIO: Nenaudokite šio prietaiso ruošdami ir atšildydami šaldytą maistą. Visas maistas,
ruošiamas šiuo prietaisu, turi būti atšildytas.
PASTABA. Pirmą kartą naudojamas prietaisas kelias pirmas minutes gali rūkti. Tai normalu, vėliau
dūmų nebebus.
1. Prieš pirmą kartą naudodami prietaisą, jį nuvalykite taip, kaip aprašyta skyriuje „Valymas“.
Nepamirškite įstatyti riebalų surinkimo indo.
2. Atidarykite prietaisą pakeldami už rankenos.
3. Kadangi prietaiso kepimo paviršius nelimpantis, nebūtina jo patepti sviestu ar aliejumi.
4. Prietaisą uždarykite ir įjunkite – elektros kištuką įkiškite į standartinį elektros lizdą. Pažiūrėkite,
ar įsijungė oranžinė maitinimo lemputė.
ĮSPĖJIMAS: Naudojamos kepimo grotelės ir metaliniai paviršiai labai įkaista. Užsimaukite karščiui
atsparias pirštines, lieskite tik juodą rankenos dalį – nenusideginsite.
5. Kai prietaisas maždaug penkias minutes pašils, užsidegs žalia pasiruošimo lemputė, tai reikš,
kad prietaisą galima naudoti.
6. Suimkite už rankenos ir pakelkite viršutinę plokštę. Ant apatinės plokštės mediniais ar karščiui
atspariais plastikiniais įrankiais uždėkite maistą.
DĖMESIO: Nenaudokite metalinių įrankių, nes jie gali subraižyti ir sugadinti nelimpantį sluoksnį.
7. Suėmę už rankenos nuleiskite viršutinę plokštę ant maisto.
PASTABOS:
• Kepimo laikas priklauso nuo maisto rūšies ir jo storio.
• Prieš valgant reikia įsitikinti, kad maistas gerai iškepęs.

8. Kai maistas iškeptas pagal jūsų skonį, pakelkite rankeną – atidarysite groteles, tada su įrankiais
išimkite maistą. Jei ketinate kepti toliau, groteles uždarykite – taupysite šilumą.
9. Prietaisą išjunkite – maitinimo laido kištuką ištraukite iš elektros lizdo.
10. Visiškai atvėsusį prietaisą išvalykite ir išdžiovinkite.

Šī ierīce ir jāiezemē. Elektriskā īsslēguma gadījumā iezemējums, novadot
elektrisko strāvu, samazinās elektriskās strāvas trieciena radītos bojājumus.
Iezemējuma vads ir iebūvēts ierīces elektrības vadā. Elektrības vads ir jāpieslēdz
pie pareizi uzstādītas un iezemētas kontaktligzdas.
Ja iezemēšanas instrukcijas pilnībā nesaprotat vai rodas šaubas, vai ierīce ir
pareizi iezemēta, lūdzu, konsultējieties ar kvalicētu elektriķi. Ja ir nepieciešams
izmantot pagarinātāju, izmantojiet tikai trīs vadu pagarinātāju.
1. Lai novērstu riskus, kas ir saistīts ar sapīšanos vai aizķeršanos aiz elektrības vada, mikroviļņu
krāsns komplektā ir iekļauts īss elektrības vads.
2. Izmantojot garu elektrības vadu vai pagarinātāju:
