III. Concept of usage
Camera Installation Kit PMON-1001 is a light on-the-belt
hardware utility that connects to the IP camera and
provides PoE power through a short network cable while
providing wireless network access for iPhone or iPod Touch
that has a free downloaded app "CameraGo!" installed.
With the help of this installation kit it is possible to do convenient and time-saving viewing
angle and focus adjustment of ACTi cameras without needing to bring a notebook computer
up on the ladder with the long cable attached or ask someone on the ground for assistance.
IV. Preparing the Camera Installation Kit
1. Screw in the antenna and lock it by [Lock] button.
2. Insert fully charged battery into the kit.
3. Put the kit into the belt bag.
4. Turn on the power (PWR and RDY LEDs will turn on).

Download CameraGo! free app from Apple’s App Store and install to the Apple device.

1. Connect PMON-1001 to the IP camera by Ethernet cable. ENET LED will
turn on and blink during data transmission. When the camera boot up is
complete, PMON-1001 will activate Wi-Fi network named “Camera_Helper”
and the Wi-Fi indication LEDs of PMON-1001 will start to flash forth and back.
Then use Apple device to connect to that wireless
network (password: 12345678).
2. Launch CameraGo! app.
3. CameraGo! will detect the IP camera.
Press [OK] to connect to live view.
4. Use live view to adjust the viewing angle
and focus of the IP camera. When
installing a zoom camera with auto focus,
you can also use [+] and [-] zoom buttons
and [Re-Focus] button if necessary.
5. When the camera adjustment is done, unplug the network cable from
camera and plug in to the next camera. Updated “Camera_Helper”network
will pop-up that matches with the network segment of the next camera.
Select it and repeat from step 3.
