Unpacking: Thank you for purchasing the LED Mini Moving Head by Adkins Pro Lighting. Every LED Mini Moving
Head has been thoroughly tested and has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the shipping
carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect
your fixture for any damage and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit has arrived intact. In the case
damage has been found or parts are missing, please contact our customer support number for further instructions.
Do not return this unit to your dealer without first contacting customer support.
Installation: The unit should be mounted using a mounting clamp (not provided), affixing it to the mounting
bracket that is provided with the unit. Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping while
operating. Always ensure that the structure to which you are attaching the unit is secure and is able to support a
weight of 5 times the unit’s weight. Also, always use a safety cable that can hold 6 times the weight of the unit when
installing the fixture. The equipment must be installed by a professional, and it must be installed in a place where it
is out of the reach of people’s grasp.
Caution! No user serviceable parts inside do not attempt repairs. In the event your
LED Mini Moving Head should fail, contact Adkins Pro Lighting.
Introduction
The Adkins Lighting LED Mini Moving Head is a high quality, high power, intelligent, DMX Light fixture. This fixture can
be used in standalone mode, DMX Controller mode or connected in a Master/Slave configuration. Please read these
instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with the basic operations of this unit.
Note: The data inside this Manual may changed without notifying you due to continuous improvement.
Safety specifications
This device is for indoor use only，the protection grade is: IP20
The installation, operation and maintenance must be managed by the qualified professional, and
make sure to operate it under the instruction of the Manual.
The light was designed to protect against electric shock and must connected to a grounded outlet.
Please check if the voltage is AC 100-240V/50-60Hz before installing.
Do not operate when the cover is opened.

Do not attempt to operate this unit if the power cord has been frayed or broken. Do not attempt
to remove or break off the gr ound prong from the electrical cord. This prong is used to reduce the
risk of electricalshock and fire in case of an internal short.
 Disconnect from main power before making any type of connection.
Never plug this unit in to a dimmer pack
Always be sure to mount this unit in an area that will allow pr oper ventilation. Allow about 6” (15cm)
between this device and a wall.
During long periods of non-use, disconnect the unit’s main powe r .

 Power-supplycords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to the point they exit from the unit.

Operation
DMX address setting: The LED Mini Moving Head uses 5 or 13 DMX channels. To set the DMX starting
channel address press the MODE button until you see A--- , then use the UP and DOWN buttons to
select the desired starting address, then press the ENTER button to save. DMX starting address can
be A001 - A512. See the DMX channel functions below.


B.Master/Slaveoperation
The fixture will allow you to link 16 fixtures together and operate without a controller. In Master/Slave mode, the
firstfixture will control the others to give an automatic, sound activated,synchronized lightshow. Thisfunction is
good when you want an instant show. The first fixture it’s DMX input cable will have nothing connect it, and the

8.Troubleshooting
Following are a few common problems that may occur during operation. Here are some suggestions for easy
troubleshooting:
A. Thefixturedoes notwork,nolight
1. Check thePower connection andmain fuse.
B. Notrespondingto DMXcontroller
1. DMXLEDshouldbeon.Ifnot,checkDMXconnectors,cablestoseeiflinkproperly.
2. If the DMXLEDisonandnoresponsetothechannel,checktheaddresssettingsandDMXpolarity.
3. If youhaveintermittentDMXsignalproblems,check thepinsonconnectorsoron thepreviouslight.
4. TrytouseanotherDMXcontroller.
5. Check if the DMX cables run near or run alongside to high voltage cables that may cause damage or
interferencetoDMXinterfacecircuit.
C. Some fixtures don’t respond to the easy controller
1. You may have a break in the DMX cabling. Check the LED for the response of the master/ slave mode
signal.
2. WrongDMXaddressinthefixture.Settheproperaddress.
D. Noresponseto thesound
1. MakesurethefixturedoesnotreceiveDMXsignal.
2. Checkmicrophonetoseeif itisgoodbytappingthemicrophone.
E. Oneofthechannelsisnotworkingwell
1. ThesteppermotormightbedamagedorthecableconnectedtothePCBisbroken.
2. The motor’s drive IC on the PCB might be out of condition.
