VENTILATION
Votre appareil doit être installé de telle façon
que sa ventilation ne soit en aucun cas entra-
vée. Il ne faut pas l’utiliser sur un lit, un sofa
ou une surface similaire qui obstrurait ses
grilles de ventilation. Dans tous les cas, il
convient de vérifier que votre appareil puisse
être ventilé naturellement. Ne pas l’encastrer.
SOURCES DE CHALEUR
Il est conseillé d’éloigner votre appareil d’une
source de chaleur type radiateur ou autres
sources produisant une source de chaleur.
ALIMENTATION ELECTRIQUE
Le branchement de votre appareil doit se faire
en respectant les indications contenues dans
ce manuel. Votre installation électrique doit
être en conformité afin de permettre une utili-
sation en toute sécurité de votre appareil.
MASSE ET POLARITÉ
Des précautions doivent être prises afin de
respecter la polarité et la mise à la terre de
votre appareil.
PROTECTION DU CORDON SECTEUR
Votre cordon d’alimentation doit être correc-
tement installée afin qu’il ne soit pas piétiner
ou arracher.
NETTOYAGE
Votre appareil doit être néttoyée seulement
avec les produits préconisés par le fabricant.
Des produits trop agressifs contenant des
acides peuvent endommagés les différentes
surfaces de votre appareil.

externe, vous devez l’éloigner d’une ligne

INTERVENTION
Votre appareil doit être dépanné par une per-
sonne qualifiée quand:
• La prise d’alimentation ou son cordon a subi
une détèrioration, ou
• Un objet ou un liquide a pénétré à l’intérieur
de votre appareil, ou
• Votre appareil a pris la pluie, ou
• Votre appareil ne semble pas fonctionner
correctement ou présente des modifications
quand à ses performances habituelles, ou
• Votre appareil est tombé ou son capot a été
endommagé.
SERVICE
Votre appareil doit être impérativement
dépanné par du personnel compétent et qua-
lifié. Afin de connaitre la station technique la
plus proche, merci de contacter votre distribu-
teur national.

WATER AND MOISTURE
The appliance should not be used near
water for example, near a bathtub,
washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in
a wet basement, or near a swimming
pool, etc.
VENTILATION
The appliance should be situated so that
its location or position does not interfere
with its proper ventilation. For example,
the appliance should not be situated on a
bed. sofa, rug, or similar surface that may
block the ventilation openings; or,
placed in a built-in installation, such as a
bookcase or cabinet that may impede the
flow of air through the ventilation
openings.
HEAT
The appliance should be situated away
from heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other appliance
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
POWER SOURCES
The appliance should be connected to a
power supply only of the type described
in the operating instructions or as marked
on the appliance.
GROUNDING OR
POLARIZATION
Precautions should be taken so that the
grounding or polarization means of an
appliance is not defeated.
POWER-CORD PROTECTION
Power-supply cords should be routed so
that they are not likely to be walked on
or pinched by paying particular attention
to cords at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit
from the appliance.
CLEANING
The appliance should be cleaned only as
recommended by the manufacturer.
POWER LINES
An outdoor antenna should be located
away from power lines.
NON-USE PERIODS
The power cord of the appliance should
be unplugged from the outlet when left
unused for a long period of time.
OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
Care should be taken so that objects do
not fall and liquids are not spilled into the
enclosure through openings.
DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE
The appliance should be serviced by
qualified service personnel when:
• The power-supply cord or the plug
has been damaged; or
• Objects have fallen, or liquids have
spilled into the appliance; or
• The appliance has been. exposed to
rain: or
• The appliance does not appear to op-
erate normally or exhibits a marked
change in performance; or
• The appliance has been dropped, or
the enclosure damaged.
SERVICING
The user should not attempt to service
the appliance beyond that described in
the operating instructions. All other
servicing should be referred to qualified
service personnel.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ENCEINTES EZY SAT - EZY SUB
The EZY SAT bookshelf speakers EZY SAT, have been designed to operate fixed
(vertically or horizontally) to a wall or on a shelf near a wall. We do not recommend
the use of these loudspeakers at a distance too far away from the wall, because
the sound performance would be greatly diminished.
Les enceintes EZY SAT, ont été conçues pour fonctionner fixées (verticalement ou
horizontalement) au mur ou sur une étagère proche d’un mur. Nous ne conseillons
pas l’utilisation de ces enceintes acoustiques à une distance trop éloigné du mur,
car les performances sonores seraient fortement diminuées.
The EZY SUB subwoofer is the ideal complement of the EZY SAT speakers.
The EZY SUB was designed to run either wall mounted or placed on the floor after
taking notice of the mounting feet provided with the EZY SUB.
Le caisson de grave EZY SUB est le complément idéal des enceintes EZY SAT.
L’EZY SUB à été conçu pour fonctionner soit fixé au mur, soit posé sur le sol en
ayant pris soin de monter les pieds fournis avec l’EZY SUB.
To connect your speakers, run a pair of cables between the output speaker ter-
minal of your amplifier and the input speaker terminal. For each speaker, black to
black (1) and red to red (+). (figure 1).
Raccordez les différentes enceintes aux prises Haut Parleur correspondantes de
votre amplificateur en respectant le (+) et le (-). (figure 1)

1) Make sure all connections «audio» has been made properly before connecting
the power cord to the wall outlet.

ment avant de raccorder la prise de courant au secteur.
2) To connect the EZY SUB in LOW LEVEL mode(Figure 2) please connect the
PRE OUT of your stereo amplifier to the INPUT LOW LEVEL of the EZY SUB.
Operating with a multi-channel audio amplifier need to connect the output of the
subwoofer amplifier (normally one RCA plug) to one RCA plug of EZY SUB LOW
LEVEL INPUT (The subwoofer output of audiovideo amplifier is mono). However,
it is possible that some audio amplifiers have an output level a bit low. In this case,
you can use an Y cable to join the two inputs of the EZY SAT. For this type of
cable, please consult your dealer.
2) Le branchement de l’EZY SUB en mode « LOW LEVEL » (figure 2) s’effectue
en raccordant la sortie PRÉ OUT d’un amplificateur stéréophonique sur les pri-
ses LOW LEVEL INPUT du caisson de grave. En utilisation avec un amplificateur
audio-vidéo multi canal, il faut raccorder la sortie SUB de l’amplificateur à une
seule des prises LOW LEVEL INPUT de l’EZY SUB, car la sortie SUB des amplis
audio-vidéo est monophonique. Toutefois, il se peut qu’avec certains amplificateurs
audio-vidéo, le niveau soit un peu faible. Dans ce cas, vous pouvez utiliser un
câble en « Y » pour réunir les deux prises INPUT de l’EZY SUB. Pour ce type de
câble, veuillez consulter votre revendeur.

1) Assurez-vous que tous les branchements « audio » soient effectués correcte-
ment avant de raccorder la prise de courant au secteur.

2) Le branchement de l’EZY SUB en mode «HIGH LEVEL » s’effectue en raccor-
dant la sortie haut-parleur de votre amplificateur (figure 3). Si ce type de branche-
ment n’entraîne pas de problèmes particuliers, il n’est à utiliser qu’en l’absence de
sortie SUB ou PRÉ OUT sur votre amplificateur.
2) To connect the EZY SUB in HIGH LEVEL mode(Figure 3) please connect the
speakers output terminal of your stereo amplifier to the HIGH LEVEL inputs.
Thanks to use this type of connection only if your stereo amplifier or audiovideo
amplifier doesn’t have Subwoofer PRE-OUT.

Fréquences : Idéalement, ce réglage doit être situé vers 70 Hertz, c’est-à-dire vers
le milieu de la course du potentiomètre.
Volume : Le réglage de volume de l’EZY SUB doit être ajusté de telle manière,
que le caisson apporte le complément idéal des fréquences graves aux enceintes
EZY SAT. Il ne doit pas être trop faible ou trop fort.
Phase : Ce réglage est à effectuer en dernier. Si le caisson EZY SUB à une fré-
quence de coupure trop élevée (supérieure à 100 Hertz) vous devez ajuster ce
réglage de manière à entendre le niveau de grave le plus élevé.
Frequency: Ideally, this setting must be located about 70 Hertz, that is around the
middle of the potentiometer.
Volume: The volume of EZY SUB must be adjusted to be the ideal complement
of the EZY SAT. It must be adjusted properly in order to provide equilibrate bass
sound to the EZY SAT.
Phase: This setting is to make it last. If the setting of the frequency that you have
chosen is more that 100 Hz, you must adjust the phase to obtain the maximum
level of bass frequencies.
