To Access DTMF
Use the button programmed
as the DTMF Autodial.
For this example, the Side Function
2, short press, will be used.
Press the Push to Talk
To initiate the DTMF string
transmission.
Use the Up or Down Keys
To select the desired autodial
list name.

AWR Advantage Plus DTMF Autodial
DTMF stands for dual tone multi frequency and is used as a method to dial telephone
numbers or to issue commands to switching systems. Such as, but not limited to, warning
systems, irrigation systems, doors, and gates.
DTMF Autodial allows up to 8 preprogrammed DTMF strings.
Please Note
DTMF Autodial & Store and Send Must Be Activated
On the radio using the AWR Advantage programming software to be able to use the Autodial or Store and Send
functions.
DTMF Autodial & Store and Send are Not Available
On the AWR Advantage two-way radio.

To Enter DTMF Numbers
Use the button programmed
as the DTMF Store and Send.
For this example, the F key, long
press, will be used.
Press the S/M key
To select and move on to the
next number.
Use the Up or Down Keys
To select the rst desired
number in the sequence.
The digits will appear in the lower left
corner of the LCD.
Repeat
Until the entire DTMF string
is displayed.
Press the Push to Talk
To initiate the transmission.

Please Note
DTMF Autodial & Store and Send Must Be Activated
On the radio using the AWR Advantage programming software to be able to use the Autodial or Store and Send
functions.
DTMF Autodial & Store and Send are Not Available
On the AWR Advantage two-way radio.
With the DTMF Store and Send, DTMF digits can be manually entered to create a
DTMF string that can be transmitted by pressing the PTT button.
