CLEANING PROCESSES
The rst stage uses a screen
with light plastic lter material
to stop and capture dusts,
pollen, pet dander, mold pores,
soot, and other hazardous
air particles that may cause
allergies and trigger various
respiratory problems.
Filtration using activated carbon
crystals scattered over a honeycomb
designed surface area for a more ecient
absorption of toxins and harmful gases.
This lter uses coconut shells as activated
carbons which are far more superior and
cleaner compared to charcoals made from
coal, wood, and other materials.
Medical grade lter that traps
0.3 micron sized airborne germs,
viruses, smoke and dust particles
at an eciency rate of 99.97% or
more.
Produces large amounts of anions that are
released into the air. These negatively charged
ions get attached to air contaminants that are
usually positively charged, clumping together until
the particles become heavy and fall to the oor,
thus further reducing air pollutants.

KEEPING THINGS CLEAN (CONT.)
Cleaning the Filters

2. Composite Filter (2 pcs)
When Should Filters Be Replaced?
When the air sanitizer is used regularly, it is
recommended that the two 2-in-1 lter #2 (Activated
Carbon + HEPA13) be replaced every 6 months.
New lters may be needed earlier if you notice an increased noise level
when the unit is on, when there is a considerable decrease in airow,
unusual odors, or when the lters are visibly clogged.
To ensure that the lters perform at their highest eciency level, it is
vital that these be replaced at a timely manner.
It may however be necessary to replace lters earlier
than expected depending on where and how the air
sanitizer is used (ex. when used in an environment
with relatively high pollution).
Unless damaged, the pre-lter need not be replaced.
Use only genuine Aerione lter replacements to
ensure proper operation of your air sanitizer.
Note:
• Filter #1: Pre-Filter (PN FLR_815A)
• Filter #2: Activated Carbon + HEPA 13 Filter (PN FLR_815B)
Place in an open and ventilated area to allow
harmfull gases and germs to dissipate. Clean
only the activated carbon side (black side with
pull tab) with a vacuum cleaner.
Do not expose under too much sun. Do not
use water to clean.
Frequency: once every two months.
Clean the surface with a vacuum
cleaner or wash with water to
remove large particles like hair,
dander, dust, soot, and pollen
that may be entangled.
Frequency: twice per month.

17
Filter Replacement Reminder
This air sanitizer has an indicator light to inform the user to check the
lters.
• After every 3,000 hrss, this same button will ash
as a reminder it’s time to replace the composite
lters. When done, press and hold button for 5
secs to reset.
• To check the number of working time in hours,
press once and the digital display will show two
sets of numbers in succession:
KEEPING THINGS CLEAN (CONT.)
Cleaning the Air Particle Sensor
The air particle sensor located at the back of the machine allows real time
detection of airborne micro particles, allowing the fan motor to adjust in wind
speed according to the condition.
To clean, rst remove the cover then wipe the sensor lens with a wet cotton swab
to remove any dirt as moisture or tobacco smoke residue may cause it to no
longer work properly. Wipe the lens with a dry cotton swab afterwards.
Frequency: once every 2 months.
cotton swab
sensor lens
• 1st: hour (in thousands)
• 2nd: hours (in hundreds)
Ex.: rst (1), 2nd (525) = 1,525 hrs
• After every 300 hrs, this button will ash as a
reminder to clean the pre-lters. When done,
press and hold button for 5 secs to reset.
• For both instances above, notications will also
be sent thru the WiFi app.

18
Cleaning the Negative Ion Generator
When you hear a creaking sound, this may indicate a dusty anion generator. To
clean, regularly brush o the dusts around the two heads using a cotton swab.
Notes on Cleaning:
• Always unplug the unit before cleaning and maintenance.
• Never operate the air sanitizer without the lters as the dusts taken in
will result to the motor being damaged.
• Unplug the unit when it will not be used over a long period. Power is
consumed even while in standby mode.
KEEPING THINGS CLEAN (CONT.)
Cleaning the Air Vents
Over time, dusts will get attached
to the inlet and outlet air vents. To
clean, simply wipe o with a clean
cloth.
For safety, the machine will not operate
unless the top grill is properly placed
back.
The top air vent grill can easily be
removed by simply lifting it up starting
at one end where the symbol is.
