Precautions
Warning on installation
 Do not cover or block the ventilation holes in the case.
 Do not install the monitor near heat sources such as radiators or air ducts, or in a
place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock.
Warning on power connection
 Use an appropriate power cord for your local power supply.
 The outlet should be installed near the monitor and be easily accessible.
 Do not allowanything to rest on the power cord.
 Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet under following conditions:
Ø If you will not use it for an indefinite period time.
Ø When the power cord or plug is damaged of frayed.
Ø If the product has been dropped or the cabinet hasbeen damaged.
Ø If the product exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicate a need
for service.
Warning on tilt
 With the tilt, this monitor can be adjusted to the desired angle within 15 degree
vertically. To turn the monitor vertically, hold it at the top with both hands as
illustrated below.

Warning on Maintenance
 Clean the cabinet, glass, and controls with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a
mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or
solvent, such as alcohol or benzene.
 Do not rub, touch, or tap the surface of the screen with sharp or abrasive items
such as a pen or screwdriver. This type of contact may result in a scratched glass.
 Do not insert sharp objects or spill liquid into the monitor through ventilation
holes. They may cause accident fire, electric shock or failure.
 Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers
may expose you todangerous voltage potentials or other risks.
Warning on transportation
 When you transport this monitor for repair or shipment, use the original carton
and packing materials.

Identify the Parts and Controls
Side view
Powerswitch
Turns the monitor on or off.
AUTObutton
Adjust the picture position and performance automatically.
You are recommended to press the button the first time you use the monitor or
every time you change the resolution and/or refresh rate of the input signal.
UPbutton
Activates the On-Screen Display menu.
Move the selected item upward while the On-Screen Display sub-menu appears.
Downbutton
Activates the On-Screen Display menu.
Move the selected item downward while the On-Screen Display sub-menu
appears.
Increasebutton
Activates the On-Screen Display menu.
Move the selected item right while the On-Screen Display main menu appears.
Increase the adjustment value of selected item while the On-Screen Display
sub-menu appears.
Decreasebutton
Activates the On-Screen Display menu.
Move the selected item left while the On-Screen Display main menu appears.
Decrease the adjustment value of selected item while the On-Screen Display
sub-menu appears.

Setup
Please follow the steps one by one to setup your monitor.
1. Split the dust-proof plastic sheet
Split the dust-proof plastic sheet from the screen surface of monitor.
2. Connect the monitor to the computer (if you are using a video source, please skip
this step.)
There are two kinds of signal formats that are digital and analog. This monitor can
support both of them. Depending on the output signal of your computer, you may
need to use different signal cable and to connect into different port of the monitor.
Ø Connecting to an IBM PC/AT or compatible computer by using the D-Sub
15-pin cableWith the computer being switched off, connect the analog
VGA signal cable to the “ANALOG” port at rear of the monitor and
computer.
Ø Connecting to an IBM PC/AT or compatible computer by using the DVI
cableWith the computer being switched off, connect the digital DVI
signal cable to the “DIGITAL” port at rear of the monitor and computer.
Ø Connecting to a Macintosh or compatible computer With the computer
being switched off, connect the analog VGA signal cable to the
“ANALOG” port at rear of the monitor and computer.

3. Connect the monitor to the video source (DVD,VCD, VCR, etc.) (If you are using a
computer, please skip this step.)
(Optional)
This monitor can support both S-Video and CVBS jack. Depending on the signal output
port of your video source, you may need to use different signal cable and to connect
into different port of the monitor. (If both the ports are available in your video source,
the S-Video connection is recommended for better performance.)
Ø Connecting to a videosource with the S-Video cable
With the video source being switched off,connect the S-Videocable to
the“S-VIDEO”port at rear of the monitor and video source.
Ø Connecting to a videosource with the CVBS cable
With the video source being switched off,connect the CVBS cable to the
“VIDEO”port at rear of the monitor and video source.
4. Connect the power adapter and power cord
Ø With the monitor switched off, connect the cable of power adapter to the
monitor. Then connect the power cord to the adapter, and the other end
of the power cord to a power outlet.
5. Turn on the monitor and computer
Ø Turn on your computer.
Ø Press the (Power) switch to turn on your monitor. You should see
the picture on your monitor now. If not, please check the “Warning
Signal and Troubleshooting” section of this user manual for details.

6. Use 1280x1024 resolution and press (AUTO) button for best performance. (If
you are not using a computer, please skip this step.)
Ø Before starting to work, you are recommended to adjust the resolution
of video signal from your computer to 1280x1024 at 60Hzfor best picture
performance. (Please check the user manual of your computer to learn
how toadjust the resolution and refresh rate.)
Ø You are also recommended to press the (AUTO) button to adjust
the picture performance automatically and to ensure the tolerance-free
picture.
7. Install information file for Microsoft Windows95/98/2000/ME/XP
Ø The information file (also known as driver) for Microsoft Windows
95/98/2000/ME/XP are available in the attached floppy disk or CD-ROM.
You may install it for better communication between your monitor and
Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP. Please refer to the text file of
“readme.txt” in the attached floppy disk or CD-ROM for details.

CustomizingYour Monitor
Introducing the On-Screen Display System
Most adjustments are made use of On-Screen Display menu.
1. To activate the Automatic Adjustment
Ø You may press AUTO to adjust the picture performance
automatically.Doing this can solve most of the issues.
Ø You are recommended to activate the Automatic Adjustment function
the first time you use the monitor or every time you change the
resolution and/or refresh rate of the input signal.
Ø This AUTO function is only applicable for analog signal input. (The input
signal is connected to ANALOG port at rear of monitor.)
2. To activate the On-Screen display menu
Ø You may press any one of the (Up), (Down), (Increase),
and (Decrease) button to activate the menu.
3. To navigate from the main menu
Ø You may press and to navigate from the main menu right
and left accordingly.
4. To navigate from the sub-menu
Ø You may press and to navigate from the sub menu upward
and downward accordingly.
5. To adjust and to select
Ø You may press and to increase and to decrease the
adjustment value of selected item accordingly while the On-Screen
Display sub-menu appears.
6. To return to main menu from sub-menu and to exit the on-screen display menu
Ø You may press (AUTO) to return to main menu from sub-menu and
to exit the on-screen display menu.

Brightness & Contrast
1. Select Brightness and Contrast in the Display Adjust menu.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100, reading will
display at the bottom of the OSD window.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Horizontal &Vertical Position
1. Select H-position and V-position in the Display Adjust menu.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100, reading will
display at the bottom of the OSD window.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Clock & Phase
1. Select Clock and Phase in the Display Adjust menu to modify the distortion of
video signal.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100, reading will
display at the bottom of the OSD window.
3. Push AUTO to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Auto Adjust
1. Push Auto Adjust in the Display Adjust Menu to enable the auto adjustment
function.
2. Push and button to switch from YES and NO.
3. Push AUTO to save changes and go back to the main menu.

1. Select White Balance in the Display Adjust menu.
2. Push and button to switch from YES and NO.

Selecting ColorTemperature
We recommend you to select different color temperature options for different
purposes as shown below.

1. Select an option from the menu.

Using User Defined ColorTemperature
You may select USER feature to adjust color temperature according your preferences or
special purposes.
1. Select a color from the menu.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
OSD Position
1. Select OSD Position in the OSD Adjust menu to adjust OSD window position
according to your preference.
2. Push or button to move OSD window to a desired position (there are
9 built-in options).
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
OSDTime
1. Select OSD Time in the OSD Adjust menu to adjust OSD window display time.
2. Push or button to adjust, the options are Off 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 60
seconds. Push AUTO to save changes and go back to the main menu.

Transparency OSD
1. Select Transparency OSD in the OSD Adjust menu toadjust the transparency of
OSD window.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100.
3. Push AUTO to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Selecting a Language
1. Select Language in the OSD Adjust menu to choose a desired language of the
OSD.
2. Push and button to select, options are displayed at the bottom of the
OSD window.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Input Select
Your LCD panel is equipped with an input signal auto detection function. It will record
the last input signal and automatically detect that input signal at the beginning of
next use. The sequence of input signal detection is VGAàDigitalàS-VideoàCVBS.
Recall
1. Select Recall to reset all features to default settings.
2. Push and button to switch from YES and NO.
3. Push AUTO to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Information
Select Information to display the model number of your LCD panel.
Backlight
1. Select Backlight to adjust brightness of backlight.
2. Push and button to adjust value between 0 and 100.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Sharpness
1. Select Sharpness to adjust sharpness of display.
2. Push and button to adjust Softer-Sharper.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.

Fullscreen
Select “Off” to display 1:1 1024 x 768 picture if input resolution is 1024 x 768; select “1” to
display H-position picture full screen; select “2” to display V-position picture full screen
ModeText/Graphic
1. If you want to choose sharpest automatic display, set Mode Text/Graphic.
2. Push and button to switch from TEXT or GRAPHIC mode.
3. Push AUTO
to save changes and go back to the main menu.
Attention! For optimal performance of your LCD panel,set mode to TEXT when the resolution is
720x400 pixelsand to GRAPHIC when the resolution is at 640x350 pixels.

Warning Messages
If the message appearson the screen Check the items

· Please check the video resolution and frequency
range is within that specified for the monitor.
· Please refer to the“Technical Specifications”
section of this user manual for details.
NO SIGNAL INPUT No signal inputsare detected from any one of the
input connectors.
Check that the power switch of your computer or
video source is in the“ON”position.
· Check that the signal cable is connected
properly.
· Ensure that no pins are bent or pushed in the
connectors of signal cable.
NOVIDEO SIGNAL FROM ANALOG INPUT No signal input is detected from ANALOG port.
Check that the power switch of your computer is in
the“ON”position.
· Check that the D-Sub 15-pin signal cable is
connected properly to ANALOG port at the rear
of monitor.
· Check that the D-Sub 15-pin signal cable is
connected properly to the computer.
Ensure that no pins are bent or pushed in the
connectors of D-Sub 15-pin cable.
NOVIDEO SIGNAL FROM DIGITAL INPUT No signal input is detected from DIGITAL port.
Check that the power switch of your computer is in
the“ON”position.
· Check that the DVI signal cable is connected
properly toDIGITAL port at the rear of monitor.
· Check that the DVI signal cable is connected
properly to the computer.
· Ensure that no pins are bent or pushed in the
connectors of DVI cable.

MAIN CONTROL MENU LOCKED
MAIN CONTROL MENU UNLOCKED The main control menu (On-Screen Display menu) is locked toavoid unwanted adjustment.
· Press (AUTO) button and (Increase)
for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the main control
menu.
WAIT FOR AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT The monitor is detecting the input signal and then
adjusting automatically the monitor parameters
accordantly.
· It takes around 5 seconds to finish the whole
process.
· You are recommended to run auto adjustment
by pressing (AUTO) button every time you
changed the resolution or refresh rate.

Troubleshooting

No picture
The“AGneovo”power indicator is not lit Check that the power switch of monitor is turned on.
Check that the power adapter isproperly connected
to the monitor.
Check that the power cord is properly connected to
the power adapter.
· Check that the power cord is properly connected
to power outlet.
· Check there is electrical power coming from the
power outlet. Use another device to check for
power.
No picture
· The“AGneovo”power indicator is
orange color
Ensure the computer is not in the power saving
mode.(Move the mouse or pressa key on the
keyboard to wake up the computer.)
Check that the power switch of your computer or
video source is in the“ON”position.
Check that the signal cable is properly connected.
The texts are not solid Change the resolution of the video signal to1280 by
1024 if it is not.
· Press (AUTO) button to run the automatic
adjustment.
Screen image is not centered properly.
· Some lines are missing
· Press (AUTO) button to run the automatic
adjustment.
Adjust H.Position andV. Position to fine tune.

section of this user manual for details.)
There are red,green,blue or black tiny
dots on the screen.
· TheTFT LCD panel is made of millions of small
transistors.And each defect transistor will cause
a missing red,green,or blue dot.
It’s guarantees maximum 3 missing dots in every
single monitor.It’s around the industrial standard.
