SETTING MODE
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Immersion: Press to select Immersion mode. Change support surface
firmness/softness by using . Adjustment may take up to 3 minutes.
Alternation: Press to select Alternation mode. Select therapy cycle time
by pressing . Adapt features 5-, 10- and 15-minute cycle times.

Microclimate Assist is on by default for both therapy modes
(green LED). To toggle o, press .
1. Press and hold . Green LED indicates pump is on; Amber LED indicates
standby mode.
2. Surface should automatically enter Autofirm mode. If not, press to max
inflate surface prior to patient transfer.
3. Surface will default to previous settings after 10 minutes.

To maintain inflation during transport:
1. Ensure CPR valve is in closed position.
2. Press to put control unit in Standby mode.
Amber LED will light.
3. If surface is to be disconnected from control unit,
place transport cap over hose connections (photo).
Transport cap will only connect if properly aligned;
failure to fully seal cap may cause surface to deflate.
1. Power loss or loss of pressure will trigger an audible alarm.
2. Press to silence alarm for 10 minutes.
Check power and hose connections to resolve issue.
3. Alarm will sound again if issue is not addressed.
1. Press and hold for three seconds to lock all controls.
2. To unlock, press and hold for three seconds.

1. Locate red CPR valve at head of mattress. Turn valve for quick air release.
2.
Detach hoses from control unit by pressing blue button and pulling connector
from unit.
