SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The device must be used for its intended purpose, in accordance with this manual.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages caused by improper use.
•Any modication of the device is prohibited.
•The device is not waterproof! Under no circumstances should you im-
merse it in water or other liquids. When cleaning, follow the instructions
contained in «Device cleaning» section.
•Aer cleaning the measuring sensor, take a ve-minute break before
the next measurement so that the sensor gains the initial operating
temperature.
•Do not use the device if you think it is damaged or notice anything un-
usual in its operation.
•Never disassemble the thermometer.
•It is important to clean the ear canal before measurement as the ear
wax can aect the measurement results (usually too low).
•During early stages of illness with a rapid rise in temperature to high val-
ues, the eect of «white hyperthermia» can be observed – a condition
which can be characterized by the peripheral vessel constriction, when
the skin becomes pale and remains cold. In such cases, temperature
measurements on the forehead should not be carried out, because the
skin temperature will be low. THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD SELECT «EAR»
MODE TO MEASURE THE TEMPERATURE IN THE EXTERNAL EAR CANAL.
•If the measurement results are contrary to the patient’s general state or
suspiciously low, repeat the measurements every 15 minutes or mea-
sure the body temperature with another thermometer in the mouth or in
the rectum.
•The device includes parts that require careful handling.
•Please refer to «Basic specications» section for storage and operation
conditions.
•Ensure that children do not use the device unsupervised: some parts are
small enough to be swallowed. Do not allow children to play with the
thermometer.
•Remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used for extended
period of time.
•Do not use the device near strong electromagnetic eld sources, includ-
ing cellular phones and radio installations. Maintain the required dis-
tance from these sources during operation of the device.
•Every time before starting measurement, please make sure that the
measuring sensor lens is not contaminated. In case of contamination,

clean the measuring sensor lens, wait for a few minutes before tak-
ing the next measurement so that the sensor gains the initial operat-
ing temperature.
•Do not pocket the thermometer before use as it can be heated.
•Do not measure temperature during or straight aer nursing.
•When measuring temperature in babies, it is ideal to place the baby on
a at surface and turn the head on one side so that the ear is directed
upward.
•Keep your thermometer out of the reach of children! The device should
not be used by physically, nervously or mentally disordered people (in-
cluding children), or by the people who have insucient experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by the persons re-
sponsible for their safety. You should supervise the children and not al-
low them to play with the thermometer.
•The user should not take food, drink or do physical exercises immediate-
ly prior to or during temperature measurement.
•Before starting measurement, please remove any dirt, hair or sweat
from the measuring area.
•The environmental temperature in the apartment may dier in various
rooms. Before measuring temperature, the user and the thermometer
should stay in the same room (premises) with constant environmental
conditions for at least 30 minutes.
•Always measure the temperature in the same area, as the readings may
vary in dierent areas.
•Wait for at least 30 seconds aer 3-5 consecutive measurements to en-
sure accuracy of readings.
Protect the device from:
•extreme temperatures;
•shocks;
•contamination and dust;
•direct sunlight.
This device is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice.

12
PREPARATION FOR USE
Remove the device from the package. Check the battery charge level.
When the batteries get weak, the battery warning symbol
appears.
It is still possible to make measurements, but the batter-
ies should be replaced as soon as possible. If the batteries
are completely discharged, the display shows «Lo» and a
low battery indicator.
In this case, the batteries must be replaced.
NOTE
•It is recommended to remove the batteries if the thermometer will not
be used for extended period of time.
•Keep the batteries out of the reach of children and do not expose them
to heat.
•Batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental
and organization policies.
•Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Battery replacement
1. Loosen the battery lid screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the lid.
2. Insert 2 new batteries 1.5 V AAA into the battery compartment, observing
polarity. Always use only new batteries.
3. Reinstall the battery lid and tighten the screw.
Dispose of the used batteries in accordance with the applicable legal regu-
lations. It is prohibited to dispose of the batteries in the normal household
waste.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES
There are 2 options for the device operation:
Option 1: without mobile application.
Option 2: via mobile application.
OPERATION WITHOUT MOBILE APPLICATION
Smart infrared thermometer AGU SHE7 is intended for measuring tempera-
ture on the forehead and in external ear canal.
1. MEASURING BODY TEMPERATURE ON THE FOREHEAD
The thermometer takes temperature by measuring infrared heat generated in the
eyebrow area and surrounding tissues.
1. Remove any dirt, hair or sweat before placing the temperature sensor in
the measurement area.
2. Press «EAR» button to switch on the
device.
3. Put the sensor tip with the cap to the
temple and, holding «HEAD» button,
swipe it smoothly across the fore-
head to the other temple.
4. Release head button
«HEAD». You will hear
a beep, and the result
of the body tempera-
ture will appear on
the display.

2. MEASURING BODY TEMPERATURE IN THE EAR
ATTENTION
•Some people produce dierent readings in their le and right ear. To
avoid temperature variations, always perform measurements in the
same ear.
•The measurement must not be taken in an ear aected by inammato-
ry diseases, aer possible ear injuries or in the healing period. In all of
these cases, please consult your doctor.
•If you have been lying on one ear for some time, the temperature is
slightly raised. Wait a little while or measure in the other ear.
•Accumulation of ear wax on the sensor can aect the measuring ac-
curacy and result in the spread of infection among the thermometer
users. It is extremely important for each measurement to observe the
rules of hygiene and keep the sensor clean. To clean the sensor, fol-
low the instructions contained in the «Device cleaning» section. Every
time before starting measurement, please make sure that the mea-
suring sensor lens is not contaminated.
•Aer cleaning the measuring sensor lens with a disinfectant solution,
wait for a few minutes before taking the next measurement so that
the sensor gains the initial operating temperature.
The thermometer takes temperature by measuring infrared heat generated by
ear drum and surrounding tissues. Energy is captured with a lens and convert-
ed to a temperature value. Temperature measurement should be carried out
by placing the sensor tip in the external ear canal above the ear drum, and not
over the surface of nearby anatomical areas. Otherwise, the measurement val-
ues may be too high.
Body temperature measurement in the external ear canal ensures accurate
readings due to the same temperature of blood owing towards the ear drum
and the brain's temperature regulation center – hypothalamus. Therefore,
changes in body temperature are faster and more accurately recorded in the
external ear canal than in any other body area.

16
1. Press «EAR» button to switch on the device.
2. Remove the cap.
3. Make sure the ear canal is clean. As the ear canal is slightly curved,
you have to pull the ear slightly up and backwards before inserting the
sensor tip.
The correct position of the thermometer sensor in the ear canal:
•Children under 1 year of age.
Lay the child in a horizontal position and turn the head on one side so
that the ear is directed upward. Slightly pull the ear back.
•Children over 1 year of age.
Slightly pull the ear up and back to align the ear canal.
4. Carefully insert the sensor tip into the ear canal and press «EAR» button
.
If the temperature reaches 37.5°C or above,
the backlight turns on and the red LED light
is on for 3 seconds.
