5 Procedure
Test procedure (controller must be connected to power supply):
1 step. To check the set desired value, press the “+/-”key briefly once. The menu item “desired
temperature”appears in the display for approx. 5 secs. The set temperature is displayed as a
hexadecimal value, e.g. “A1”. By pressing the “+/-”key again, in a “U”-shaped unit for
example you can switch to another set desired value, e.g. “A3”. The last hex value shown in
the display is always considered to be the set desired value.
2 step. Wait until the display again shows the current temperature in the display.
3 step. To get into the address menu of the controller, the “standby/reset” key should be pressed
briefly once. In the display, “Adr” is shown alternating, for example, with “1”for bus address 1.
By pressing the key “+/-”(up) or “standby/reset”(down), the bus address can be adjusted
between 1 and 247.
4 step. To store the bus address, press the “man. defrost”key once to quit the address menu and get
back to the current temperature.
5 step. To get into the main menu, press the “+/-”key three times to get to the code input for the
main menu. “Cod”and “0”are displayed. The correct code should be entered using the key
“+/-”(up) or “standby/reset”(down). The code can be a number between “-999 and +999”. If
the correct code is shown in the display, this should be confirmed using the “man. defrost”
key in order to get into the main menu. The first enabled menu item is then displayed.
6 step. To change a selected value, the parameter must be confirmed using the “man. defrost”key in
order get to the parameter value. This should then be changed using the key “+/-”(up) or
“standby/reset”(down). To store the set value, the “man. defrost”key must be pressed.
Following this you return to the set parameter.
7 step. If you are in the main menu, you can be switched through the parameter level using the key
“+/-” (up) or “standby/reset”(down). If no change occurs for approx. 30 seconds, the
controller returns from the main menu to the current temperature display.
8 step. Following this the controller will again function normally.

1st step: To check the set desired
value, press the “+/-” key briefly once.
The menu item “desired temperature”
appears in the display for approx. 5
secs. The set temperature is displayed
as a hexadecimal value, e.g. “A1”. By
pressing the “+/-” key again, in a “U”-
shaped unit for example you can switch
to another set desired value, e.g. “A3”.
The last hex value shown in the display
is always considered to be the set
desired value.
3rd step: To get into the address menu of the
controller, the “standby/reset” key should be
pressed briefly once. In the display, “Adr” is
shown alternating, for example, with “1”for bus
address 1. By pressing the key “+/-” (up) or
“standby/reset”(down), the bus address can be
adjusted between 1 and 247.
6th step: To change a selected value, the
parameter must be confirmed using the
“man. defrost”key in order get to the
parameter value. This should then be
changed using the key “+/-” (up) or
“standby/reset”(down). To store the set
value, the “man. defrost”key must be
pressed. Following this you return to the
set parameter.
4th step: To store the bus address, press the “man.
defrost”key once to quit the address menu and get
back to the current temperature.
7th step: If you are in the main menu, you can be switched
through the parameter level using the key “+/-” (up) or
“standby/reset”(down). If no change occurs for approx. 30
seconds, the controller returns from the main menu to the
current temperature display.
5th step: To get into the main
menu, press the “+/-” key three
times to get to the code input for
the main menu. “Cod”and “0”are
displayed. The correct code
should be entered using the key
“+/-” (up) or “standby/reset”
(down). The code can be a
number between “-999 and +999”.
If the correct code is shown in the
display, this should be confirmed
using the “man. defrost”key in
order to get into the main menu.
The first enabled menu item is
then displayed.
2nd step: Wait until
the display again
shows the current
temperature in the
display.
8th step: Following this the controller will again function
normally.
