Alwayscollectandwipeupanywastefluids.
• Starttheengineandallowtheenginetowarm
up.Operatingtheenginebeforeithaswarmed
upsufficientlywillincreaseexhaustemissions
andmayleadtoengineproblems.

5. DamagedMachineHazards

stopoperationandcheckthemachine.
•Whenoperatorschangeaworkshift,
performthepre-operationchecksatevery
change.Itistheoperatorʼsresponsibility
toperformapre-operationcheck.
•Performthepre-operationchecksonfirm,
levelsurface,withtheplatformlowered.
•Ifthepre-operationchecksrevealany
abnormalities,putan”OutofOrder”
signonthemachine,andstopusingthe
machine.Reporttheproblemtoyour
supervisor.
CAUTION
•Performallmaintenancedescribedinthis
manualandinthedesignatedservice
manualforthemachine.
•Makesurealldecalsareinplaceand
notdamaged.Anydecalmissingor
damagedshouldbetreatedasamachine
malfunction.
6. FireandExplosionHazards
WARNING
•Whenhandlingflammables(fuel,oil,etc.),
beawareofanythingthatcancausefire.
•Neverremovethefuelcapwiththeengine
running.
•Onlyfillthefueltankwithdieselfuel.
Fillingthefueltankwithgasolinemay
resultinafireandwilldamagetheengine.
•Neverrefuelwiththeenginerunning.
•Wipeupanyspillsimmediately.
•Keepsparks,openflamesoranyother
formofignition(match,cigarette,static
electricsource)wellawaywhenrefueling.
•Fillthefueltank.Storeanycontainers
containingfuelinawell-ventilatedarea,
awayfromanycombustiblesorsourcesof
