Operatorofthemachinemustreceive
safetytrainingtoensuresafeoperations.
Incorrectuseofthemachinecancause
seriousinjuryordeath.
Allpersonnelarerequestedtoreceive
safetytrainingandonlytrainedand
authorizedpersonnelarepermittedto
operatethemachine.Thismanualshould
beusedinconjunctionwithsafetytraining.

EnvironmentalProtection
Variouslawsandregulationsspecify
specificproceduresfordisposingofparts
andoil.Whendisposingofpartsoroil
yourself,youareresponsibleforensuring
allactionscomplywithapplicablelawsand
regulations.
Considerationsbeforeoperations
• Lookaroundthemachineandconfirmthe
absenceofoilorwaterleaks.
Oilorwaterleakingfromthemachinemay
causesoilcontaminationorwaterpollutionif
allowedtoseepintothegroundorwaterways.
Alwayscollectandwipeupanywastefluids.
• Starttheengineandallowtheenginetowarm
up.Operatingtheenginebeforeithaswarmed
upsufficientlywillincreaseexhaustemissions
andmayleadtoengineproblems.
Considerationsduringoperations
• Donotoperateatloadsexceedingtherated
load.Overloadingthemachinemayincrease
exhaustemissionsandcauseoverheating.
• Donotrevtheengineorstartoracceleratethe
machinesuddenly.
• Alwaysshutofftheenginebeforeleavingthe
machine.
Avoidunnecessaryengineidlingorrevving.
• Beconsideratetowardsresidentsinthevicinity
whenoperatingthemachine.Takespecialcare
withnoiseanddirectionoflightsatnightor
earlyinthemorning.
Considerationsforinspectionsand
replacement
• Oil-orgrease-soakedragsorothermaterials
usedforcleaningorinspectionworkmustbe
storedinspecifiedlocations.Leavingragsor
othermaterialsoutsideafterusemayresultin
groundcontaminationduetorainseepageor
fire.
• Oldoil,filters,andlampsmustbedisposed
ofbyawastedisposalcontractorafter
replacement.
• Thebatteriescontainleadanddilutesulfuric
acid.Improperdisposalwillharmthe
environment.PleasecontactAICHIoranAICHI
dealertoreplacebatteries.
• Burningoldrubbertracksandshoepads
producestoxicgasesandwillharmthe
environment.
Toreplacetherubbertracksandshoepads,
contactAICHIoranAICHIdealer.Ifyouwish
todisposeofthemyourself,contactawaste
disposalcontractor.
Correctdisposalofwastematerials
• ConsultwithAICHIoranAICHIdealerto
disposeofthemachineafteranumberofyears
ofuse.
Disposeofthemachineintheappropriate
manner.Improperdisposalcanbeharmfulto
theenvironment.
• Disposeofwastesuchasoldrubbertracks
andshoepads,batteries,andhydraulic
oilappropriatelyandincompliancewith
applicablelawsandregulationsafter
replacement.
