6. FireandExplosionHazards

•Whenhandlingflammables(fuel,oil,etc.),

•Neverremovethefuelcapwiththeengine

•Onlyfillthefueltankwithdieselfuel.
Fillingthefueltankwithgasolinemay
resultinafireandwilldamagetheengine.
•Neverrefuelwiththeenginerunning.
•Wipeupanyspillsimmediately.
•Keepsparks,openflamesoranyother
formofignition(match,cigarette,static
electricsource)wellawaywhenrefueling.
•Fillthefueltank.Storeanycontainers
containingfuelinawell-ventilatedarea,
awayfromanycombustiblesorsourcesof
ignition.
•Ifthemachineistobeusedinalocation
whereflammablegasisproduced,onlyuse
themachineaftersufficientventilation.
•Neverparkthemachineclosetooilor
othercombustiblematerial,suchas
deadleaforwastepaper,duringengine
operationorshortlyaftershutdown.The
mufflerandexhaustpipesareextremely
hotwhiletheengineisoperating.

Whendealingwiththebattery,always
wearappropriateprotectiveclothingand
equipmenttoprotectyourhands,eyes,
faceandbody,andavoidcontacting

clothing,washitawayimmediatelywith
coldwater.Ifitgetsintotheeye,wash
