OPERATIONAL WARNING
• Care must be taken when operating your Pottery Wheel. This wheel contains moving
parts that could result in serious injury if not operated correctly. You should always
inspect the wheel prior to use making sure all components are attached correctly.
• Before plugging in your pottery wheel, you should check to make sure power switch is in
the off position. The speed dial should be set to its lowest setting prior to plugging in. If
using the option foot pedal, be sure to unplug pottery wheel first before attaching the foot
pedal.
SPLASH PAN
• This Pottery Wheel contains a 2-part water splash pan that must be assembled on the
machine prior to use. The smaller section of the splash pan goes closest to the pottery
wheel head unit with the LCD. The 2-Pieces should slide under the wheel spindle and
overlap to lock into place
• Do not attempt to remove the splash pan when the unit is running.
BATS
• The Pottery Wheel comes with an 11-1/2” molded plastic bal Each bat has three molded
bat holders that insert into pre drilled holes on the pottery wheel disc. Be sure to properly
secure the bat to the wheel prior to use.
• Bats can be cleaned with soap and water after each use. Do not place in dishwasher
• Additional bats are available.
LCD CONTROLS
1. Turn on Power Switch
2. Press RUN to engage the wheel
3. Press STOP to disengage the wheel
4. Press FWD/REV to change wheel spin direction
5. Turn the speed adjustment knob to control wheel speed.
6 Note: Anytime the STOP button is pressed you must press the RUN button to
re-engage the wheel before it will operate.
HAND CONTROL KNOB
• The Hand Control Knob is located on the front LCD Panel. This knob controls the speed
of the pottery wheel. Turning the knob clockwise will increase the speed and turning the

knob counter clockwise with decrease the wheel speed. Maximum wheel speed is 300
rpm.
• Always make sure the knob is in the lowest setting when plugging in or turning on the
machine.
• Note: When the optional foot pedal is attached to the pottery wheel, the speed control
knob will be disabled.
FOOT PEDAL
• Your pottery wheel comes with the option of using the supplied foot pedal. To use the
foot pedal, be sure to unplug your machine and turn speed control knob to the lowest
setting. You can then plug in the foot pedal.
• When plugging in the foot pedal you must align the white dot on the machine portal with
the white dot on the foot pedal cord. Failure to do so will result in damage to the cords
metal prongs.
• When using the foot pedal, to speed up the wheel, press down, and to slow down the
wheel, depress the foot pedal.
• Note When foot pedal is attached, the speed control knob on front of LCD will be
disabled.
POWER CORD
• To operate the wheel safely, plug the 10 foot cord into a grounded (3-prong) AC outlet
and keep cord away from the wheel head. Always use a grounded outlet.
• Do not alter the plug in any way or use extension cords. To protect yourself against the
risk of fire or electric shock, do not allow cords or plugs to be immersed in water or other
liquids.
CLEANING
• Always turn off and unplug your pottery wheel prior to cleaning. Use water or a mild soap
and water solution or air hose to clean your wheel.
• Do not hose off or pressure wash your wheel as this may result in damage of wheel
motor and/or bearings.
• To protect your wheel, do not get any of the electronic parts wet or submerged when
clean.

SAFETY WARNINGS
• Read all instructions and follow these basic safety precautions before operating your
equipment.
• Only operate equipment if it has been assembled and used in accordance with the
included instructions.
• When equipment is used near children, supervision is necessary. Always keep wheel a
tools out of reach of small children.
• When equipment is not in use. it should be turned off and unplugged Never leave the
wheel running when unattended
• To protect yourself against the risk of fire or electric shock, do not allow cords or plugs to
be immersed in water or other liquids.
• If the wheel malfunctions or is damaged in any way, do not operate it or attempt to repair
it by opening its1 case. If this occurs, turn off the power, unplug the power cord from the
wall outlet and Contact an authorized Service Center.
• To operate the wheel safely, only plug the cord into a grounded (3-prang) AC outlet. Do
not use extension cords.
• Be careful with long hair, jewelry, and loose fitting clothing, as items like these may get
caught in the moving wheel head and may cause damage or injury.
• Do not overload the wheel head with clay (clay weight should not exceed 20 lbs) or force
it to stop, as this will shorten the life of the motor.
