Power requirements for electrical equipment differ from area to area.
Please ensure that your machine meets the power requirements in
your area.
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
120V, 60 Hz for USA and Canada
220V, 50 Hz for Europe except UK
240V, 50 Hz for UK and Australia
110V/120V/220V/240V, 50/60 Hz switchable for other countries.
Voltage conversion
Models for Canada, USA, Europe, UK and Australia are not equipped
with this facility. Each machine is pteset at the factory according to
destination, but some machines can be set to 110V, 120V, 220V or
240V as required. If your machine’s voltage can be converted:
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Turn the VOLTAGE SELECTOR located on the rear panel witha
screwdriver until the correct voltage is indicated.

€) To avoid damages to the internal circuits and the external surface, keep away
from heat (stoves, etc.).
f) Avoid using spray type insecticide near the Akai DT-M7.
It can damage the finish and might ignite suddenly.
g) To avoid damaging the finish, never use alcohol, paint thinner or other similar
chemicals to clean the Akai DT-M7.
h) Place the Akai DT-M7 on a flat and solid surface.

Features
The Akai DT-M7 is a mid-sized daily audio timer equipped
with a micro-computer and a quartz time piece. Use it in
combination with the other components in the Clarity Series
and you will have a versatile hi-fi system.
e@ You can program the Akai DT-M7 to turn on and off the
connected components for up to 3 times a day.
@ Present time, turn on time or turn off time can be display-
ed on the large, 2-colored FL display. There is also an
auto dimmer which automatically adjusts the brightness
of the FL display according to the surrounding light.
@ Sleep time operation turns off the connected components
for you. Now you can fall asleep to music, etc.
@ All the buttons are feather-touch and the fast, slow and
reverse buttons let you easily set the Akai DT-M7.

turn off time “sleep time’’.
The maximum sleep time length is 1 hour and 59 min-
utes.
