Using for the First Time
• Readthishandbooktofamiliariseyourselfwithallthepartsofyournew
food processor.
• Beforeusingtheapplianceforthefirsttime,cleanallthepartsandaccessories
thatwillcomeincontactwithfood(see“Cleaning&Storage”).
WARNING
1. Thebladesareverysharp.Alwaystakeparticularcarewhenhandlingthe
bladesespeciallywhenfitting,removingorcleaningthem.
2. Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge,unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstructionconcerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywith
the appliance.
4. We suggest wearing ear protection while operating this appliance.

Operating Instructions
Yournewfoodprocessorisidealforpreparingmanybasicmixturesforavarietyof
recipes.Followtheinstructionsbelowtoachievethebestresultsandtokeepyour
appliance in good working condition.
Attention
Followtheinstructionsgivenbeloweverytimeyouusetheappliance:
• Neverexceedtherecommendedmaximumquantities.
• Neverpourliquidshotterthan75°Cintothebowland/orblender.
• Neverleavetheapplianceunattendedwhileitison.
• Nevermaketheapplianceworkwhileitisempty.
• Nevertouchthemovingparts.
• Neverputyourfingersorutensilsinsidethelidopening.
• Neverpressdowntheingredientsintothelidopeningwithyourhands.
• Donotusetheappliancetoprocesshardingredients(e.g.frozenmeat,cheese
coverings),rubbery(e.g.candiedpeel)andinediblepartsofingredients(e.g.
bones)ortocrushice.
• Alwaysswitchofftheapplianceandwaitforittostopbeforeremovingthelid
or changing accessories.
• Alwaysremovethebladefromthemixingbowlbeforeremovingtheingredients.
Operation of the Mixing Bowl
Chopping Function
Suitable for single stage cake mixes, rubbing butter into flour for pastries, adding water
to pastries and chopping and pureeing.
1. Install the blender safety cap as shown in diagram 1.
2. Place the mixing bowl on the power unit and turn the handle in a clockwise
directiontolockin(diagrams2and3).
3. Putthebladeshaftonthedriveshaftinthemiddleofthebowl(diagram4).
4. Fixthechoppingbladetothebladeshaft(diagram5).
Warning: The blade is sharp, only hold the plastic area.
5. Putthefoodintothebowl(diagram6).Dicelargepiecesoffoodinto2cm
cubes first.
6. Putthecoveronthebowl,turningthecoverclockwisetolockin(diagrams7
and8).
7. Plug the appliance into the wall outlet and select your chopping speed. The
power increases in four stages. For intermittent operation, press the
PULSE button.
8. Whenyouhavefinishedchopping,turnthedialto“0”.Afterthebladehas
stopped,removethelid,bladeandthenthefood.

Whisking Function
Suitable for beating egg whites, mixing egg and sugar and whipping cream.
The whisking function has almost the same operating steps as the chopping
function. Simply change the chopping blade to the whisking blade.
Slicing & Shredding Function
Suitable for processing firm foods such as carrots and hard cheeses and softer foods
such as tomatoes and cucumbers.
1. Slidetheslicingorshreddingbladeintothebladesupport(diagram9).The
slicing blade cuts food into slices. The shredding blade grates food.
2. Install the blender safety cap as shown in diagram 1.
3. Place the mixing bowl on the power unit and turn the handle in a clockwise
directiontolockin(diagrams2and3).
4. Putthebladeshaftonthedriveshaftinthemiddleofthebowl(diagram4).
5. Placethebladesupportontheshaftinthemiddleofthebowl(diagram10).
6. Putthecoveronthebowl,turningthecovertolockin(diagrams7and8).
7. Plugtheapplianceintothewalloutletandselectthespeed.Dropstripsoffood
downthechuteinthecover.Usethepushertogentlyassistthefood.
8. Whentheoperationisfinished,turnthedialto“0”.Afterthebladehasstopped,
removethelid,bladeandthenthefood.
Whisking Function
B: Blender jug
-Put stuff into the Blender jug and fix the Blender jug cover onto the body tightly
-Put Blender jug on the power unit till cup support connects with power unit
properly.
-Connect the power plug of the machine and switch on the food processor. Turn the
knob to the required level (The speed is increased by levels. PULSE is the highest
level. Turn the knob to the PULSE for any intervallic operation. )
-You can add some liquid material (such as oil, cream if any) to the food when
mixing from material entrance if necessary;
-Turn the knob to “0” level and shut off the machine after working. Pour the mixed
food out of the Blender jug.

B: Blender jug
-Put stuff into the Blender jug and fix the Blender jug cover onto the body tightly
-Put Blender jug on the power unit till cup support connects with power unit
properly.
-Connect the power plug of the machine and switch on the food processor. Turn the

Operation of the Blender
1. Put the ingredients into the blender jug and lock the blender jug lid onto the jug.
2. Place the blender jug onto the power unit, turning the jug clockwise until it
locks into the power unit correctly.
3. Removeaccessoriesthatmayhavebeenstoredinthemixingbowlandinstall
the mixing bowl to engage the processor safety interlock.
4. Plug the appliance into the wall outlet and select your blending speed. The
power increases in four stages. For intermittent operation, press the PULSE
button.PULSEisthehighestlevel.
5. Toaddingredientswhilsttheblenderisoperating,removethestopperfrom
the lid and pour through the opening.
6. Whenyouhavefinishedblending,turnthedialto“0”.Afterthebladehas
stopped,removethejugfromthepowerunit.Removethelidtopour.

Cleaning & Storage
• Alwaysunplugfromthepoweroutletbeforecleaning.
• Cleanthepowerunit(6)withasoft,slightlydampcloth.Donotwashitunder
runningwateranddonotsubmergeitinwateroranyotherliquid.
• Alltheaccessoriescanbewashedbyhandorinthedishwasher:
Use tepid water and normal washing up detergent for hand-washing, taking
extra care when handling the steel blades. Accessories can be placed in the
upperpartofthedishwasherbutmakesurethatthewaterneverexceedsa
maximum temperature of 50°C.
• Donotusechemicalorabrasivesubstancesonanyparts.
NOTE
• Whenyouhavefinishedcleaning,checkthatthesafetyinterlocks(parts4and
7)arenotobstructedbyresidue.Ifnecessary,useasoftbrushtocleanthe
appliance whilst it is still unplugged from the mains.
• Thebladescannotbesharpened.Replacethemiftheyarenotcuttingproperly
or are worn.
• ContactanauthorisedServiceCentretopurchaseaccessories,replacementparts
and for maintenance work on your appliance.
STORAGE
• Makesurethatyourapplianceandallit’saccessoriesarecompletelydrybefore
putting them away.
• Yourfoodprocessorhasaspace-savingstoragesystemwhereallaccessories
can be put away tidily in the bowl.
