Introduction

with a WI-FI Quigg. You have just
acquired a quality product that meets the
performance and safety standards the
highest. In order to handle the device
correctly and to ensure its longevity, we

and other types of accommodation such
as guest rooms. Use the appliance only
indoors, in a dry room and never
outdoors. Any other use or modification
of the device is not permitted and is

appliance.

Install and use the appliance only on a dry, flat, non-slip and heat-
resistant surface. The surface must be stain-resistant and easy to
clean, as it is sometimes difficult to avoid splashes.
Do not wash the stainless steel mixing bowl and blades in the
dishwasher.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning and/or
storing it. Remember that the appliance remains vry hot even after it
is switched off.

Do not use the TURBO function when heating food.
Before each use, make sure that all parts are correctly assembled.
Always ensure that the appliance is switched off before plugging it
into an earthed mains socket or unplugging it.
Never move the appliance when it contains food or liquids.
Do not fill the stainless steel mixing bowl beyond the MAX mark.
Be careful when emptying or cleaning the stainless steel mixing bowl,
as the blades are very sharp.

Always wait until all parts of the appliance have come to a complete
standstill before mounting or removing accessories. Risk of injury
Turn off the power after each use and unplug the unit to prevent
accidental start-up.
Do not blend hard cores and remove any stems or stalks from the
food to be blended before blending. Before grinding meat, remove
any bones and tendons.
Cut solid ingredients such as vegetables or meat into small
pieces before putting them into the stainless steel mixing bowl
Use only the spatula provided to remove the mixture. To do this,
always ensure that the device is switched off and unplugged, and
that all components are completely stopped. The spatula must
not come into contact with the components in motion.
Do not put the stainless steel mixing bowl in the microwave or in
the oven, or on a cooking plate (electric or gas).
Do not put any ingredients in the stainless steel mixing bowl if the
blades are not in place. Ingredients will escape. The water would
come out of the hole in the bottom of the bowl.
Use the appliance only with the supplied power cord. Connect
the power cord to the appliance first, then to a correctly installed
earthed mains socket.
If you use the appliance at high speed (rpm) and without liquid,
e.g. for chopping dry ingredients (e.g. almonds), nuts, etc.), the
appliance should not be operated for more than 40 seconds at a
time. After this, the appliance must cool down for approx. 10
minutes before you can use it again.
If you want to boil water or other ingredients in the stainless steel
mixing bowl, make sure that the amount of filling does not
exceed 1.5 l (= 3rd line mark in from the bottom of the mixing
bowl) and that the speed does not exceed the level 1.
Caution when preparing frozen ingredients. As sudden
temperature changes can put stress on the blade material, we
recommend waiting a few minutes before starting preparation
after adding frozen ingredients to the stainless steel mixing bowl.
Start the preparation at low speed and increase the speed as

required. Chopping ice cubes with the appliance is not
recommended.
Do not disassemble the blades under any circumstances. Do not
remove any parts from the blades to avoid the danger of faulty
assembly.
CAUTION: No liquids may come into contact with or be near the
plug-in contacts of the appliance. Make sure that the contacts on
the underside of the stainless steel mixing bowl are completely
dry before placing the bowl on the base.
Also, be sure to remove any water that may have accumulated
on the stainless steel mixing bowl cover and dry it.
Make sure that the food processor, and in particular the
integrated scale, is not exposed to any harmful electromagnetic
waves (e.g. from radio-controlled devices /electrostatic charges).
This could impair the weighing function and cause incorrect
values to be displayed.
If any problems occur during operation, such as display errors,
we recommend that you deactivate the weighing function, move
the unit to a suitable location and then reactivate the weighing
function.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
When preparing baby food, make sure that the ingredients are of
the right quality. The ingredients must be free of pits, stems and
tails. Meat must be free of tendons and bones, otherwise it cannot
be sufficiently chopped.

Installation and assembly
Before first use

please check that it is
complete and that it
has not been damaged in transit,
to avoid any danger. If in doubt,
do not use it and contact our
service department. The details of
our service department are given
in our warranty conditions and on
the warranty card.
The appliance and its accessories
are packed to prevent damage
during transport.

accessories to remove packaging

Introduction
Before we go into detail about the use
of the device, we would like to give you
an overview of the basic functions, set-
up, assembly and operation of the
device, and the possibilities of using
and programming the device.
Thanks to the various
accessories, the controllable
heating function, the steamer, the
integrated kitchen scale and the
left-hand rotation function, your
new food processor offers a wide
range of functions for a variety of
preparation possibilities and
various applications. The
appliance is suitable for
mixing/kneading, blending,
cooking, steaming, emulsifying,
chopping, pureeing and beating
suitable ingredients, for example.
It takes up little space and allows
you to process food quickly and
prepare many recipes with just
one machine.
The appliance is supplied with a
recipe book in which we explain
the many possibilities of use
through a large number of recipe
ideas: starters, soups, sauces,
main courses, pasta, desserts,
etc. We invite you to try these
recipes and hope that you will be
inspired to cook your own dishes
and invent new ones.
In addition, the device has a
Wi-Fi function that allows the food
processor to be directly (without an
internet connection) to your

Preparation of the device
Use the appliance only
with the supplied power
cord. Connect the power
cord to the appliance first,
then to a properly installed
earthed mains socket.
Place the unit near an earthed
mains socket. Make sure that the
surface of the stand is flat, dry,
non-slip and heat-resistant. The
surface should be greaseproof
and easy to clean, as it is
sometimes difficult to avoid
splashes.
Make sure that the appliance is
switched off. The on/off switch
(B) at the back of the appliance
must be in the "0" position.
Use the supplied power cord and
connect it to the appliance's
power cord connection (A).
We recommend that the
appliance should only be
switched on when the stainless
steel mixing bowl ( ) is correctly
installed on the appliance (see p.
19/20). The display (I) briefly
shows all symbols/functions
before returning to the home
screen.

The contacts on the underside of the
stainless steel mixing bowl must be
completely dry when the bowl is placed
on its base. Also check that no
liquid is deposited on the
connection to the base or gets
inside.
