The Alacritech TCP ofoad technology allows servers to scale in performance.
By relieving the host CPU of the burden of processing network trafc, more power is
applied to processing applications. Alacritech’s fourth-generation 1 Gigabit Scalable
Network Accelerator™ (SNA) includes a custom ASIC that has been specically designed

Advanced Features

Universal iSCSI Compatibility
Unlike iSCSI HBAs, which use proprietary initiator software, Alacritech
SNAs take advantage of the Microsoft iSCSI initiator to connect to
iSCSI targets. SNAs appear as NICs to Windows so customers can be
condent Alacritech SNAs are compatible with their iSCSI target.
