6.1
Cautions and dangers when installing
The unit must be installed by qualified technicians, skilled in mechanical and electrical operations.
Keep power supply disconnected during installation and during any further servicing.
Do not modify the circuits in the unit. Any change could impair the correct functioning.
The power line must comply with the Norm CEI 64-8/7. The section of the Ground lead must not be
smaller than the one prescribed by the CEI 64-8/4 Norm.
It is recommended that the line is under the protection of a 10A differential
switch, so as to make it easy to take power off when servicing.
6.2
Mounting
It is recommended to install it away from direct weather
agents such as rain/hail and sunlight.

6.4.1a Connections to start the equipment by relay transmission of power supply:
Service Line 1 (Pushbutton A): from power supply, connect one end of service Line 1 straight to the relevant actuator (i.e.
electrical motor, solenoid, a.s.o.). Connect the other end to pin 1 (COM 1) of J2 connector.
If operation mode is “normally open”, take the switching wire to the 1 actuator from pin 2 (N.O. 1). These wires must be able
to sustain 10 Amps current draw.
If operation mode must be “normally closed”, take the switching wire to the actuator from pin 3 (N.C. 1). If the actuator
works by d.c., take care to connect properly positive and negative poles!
Service Line 2 (Pushbutton B): from power supply, connect one end of service Line 2 straight to the relevant actuator (i.e.
electrical motor, solenoid, a.s.o.). Connect the other end to pin 4 (COM 2) of J2 connector.
If operation mode is “normally open”, take the switching wire to the 2 actuator from pin 5 (N.O. 2). These wires must be able
to sustain 10 Amps current draw.
If operation mode must be “normally closed”, take the switching wire to the actuator from pin 6 (N.C. 2).
It is possible to disable coin acceptance in any of the following two ways:
Electronically - Pins 7/8 of green connector J2: provide any Vdc (+) or Vac (line value) to pin 7, and respectively 0Vdc
(-) or Neutral Vac to pin 8.
Mechanically - move to OFF the dip-switches located on the coin acceptor. Move them back to ON when you want to
resume coin acceptance.

7. Operation
7.1 Getting started
Switch the machine on: the display will lit on and will show the following message:
The machine is ready to operate by the following default preset values:
The Timebox B is able to simultaneously control two independent pay-for-time service lines, having different price and time
length. When introducing one coin or the RFID key, the corresponding credit will be displayed. If such amount is enough to

will change from blue to green colour.
When pressing the button for service line A (or service line B), the display will show briefly paid amount and total time, then
the relevant relay will switch on, and remain on, for the set time. The display will show the progress of the count- down, and
the pushbutton will be blinking until end of service time.
If it has been introduced a larger amount than the price for the service, the proportionally larger activation time shall be
displayed and activated.
When the device gets switched on for the first time, the RFID key ACS reader flashes red, to signal that it must be
initialized. (see section 7.3.2.3.1b). The Timebox can be used also if the ACS has not been initialized.
7.2 Access through Master/Service Key

7.3.2.3.1aCashless setup
When first powering the unit on, the RFID ACS Reader flashes red, to show that it must be initialized.
-Initialize the ACS Reader
Edit a 6-digit PIN code, write it down and keep it in a safe place.
(*) The code must consist of 6 alphanumeric characters: press the OK button, the cursor sets to the
first digit: with UP or DOWN, choose the letter or digit to be entered, and confirm with the OK button.
The cursor will move to the next digit. When confirming digit n. 6, the request to confirm the entered
code appears. By selecting the "<" symbol and pressing OK, the last character entered gets deleted.
If RFID keys must be used that have already been initialized on another Alberici cashless reader,
take care to enter the same 6-digit PIN of the device in which they were initialized.
(**) If the same alphanumeric sequence entered before is wrongly re-written, the message appears:
and after 3 "the request to enter the correct code is presented again.
To protect the safety of the Device owner, it is no longer possible to change
the 6-digit code after it has been confirmed.
-Initialize the Master and Service Keys after having initialized the RFID ACS Reader
Following to the initialization of the ACS Cashless reader, the Master key (Owner - generally the black one) and the Service key
(Operator - generally yellow) can be initialized as well.
NOTICE: initialization of the keys can be postponed. In this case, see next page flow chart.
Insert the Master key and press the OK button: the display will prompt to enter the PIN code. After entering the last character, the
display will require confirmation of the same code. Insert the code again: the initialization
of the Master key will be started. When complete, the confirmation message gets displayed:
If a second Master key or the Service key must be created, repeat the process described.
Or else, choose the Service Key option in the menu to initialize the related key (Operator - generally white). To exit, remove the key
and wait for the device to return to tits stand-by condition.
-Initialize the User Keys
To initialize the User keys, exit the menu, insert the Master key or the Service key (already initialized on the same Timebox) in the
ACS key reader. The "Service Menu" will open: navigate by the "+" button in the menu shown, until finding the option INITIALIZE
KEYS: then press OK. Remove now the Master / Service Key, insert one User Key, and follow the instructions appearing on display:
Remove the key and insert a new one, and so on until you have initialized all the keys that can be used on this player. To exit,

-Load credit on User Keys
Once User Keys have been initialized, they can be loaded with credit in three ways:
1) In case of self-service top-up:
- introduce the coins into the coin mechanism of the Timebox;
- enter the User Key
- press the lit up pushbutton: the amount introduced will be loaded on the key, and the display will show the total credit available.

7.3.2.3.2 Modify the PIN code
The PIN code allows to get access to the discretional menus of the system.
The PIN code is made up by 4 figures (each of them from 0 to 9: 10,000 combinations available).
PAY ATTENTION: the default PIN code is 0000
The settings in the following menus can be modified by using the PIN code:
MODIFY PIN - RESET ACCOUNTS - RESTORE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION
To modify the existing PIN, press OK, and digit the old PIN code: to digit each code figure, first use keys UP and DOWN
to set each figure, then confirm it by OK. Once the 4th figure has been confirmed, confirm by OK the whole old PIN:
To enter the new PIN code, use first the UP and DOWN keys to set each figure, then confirm it by OK. Once the 4th figure
has been confirmed, confirm by OK the whole new PIN.
As every single figure gets confirmed, an asterisk takes its place, so preserving secrecy.
NOTICE: when DEFAULT CONFIGURATION is restored, the PIN code gets reset to 0000.
If the entered PIN is not correct, the User is given another 4 tries before the board gets blocked-up by its security interlock.
Before the 5th error, the system can be started again by switching it off and on again. After the 5th error, the machine will be
blocked, while the display will show two codes. Please send such codes to Alberici Assistance, to get the reset information.
7.3.2.3.3 Restore to Default configuration
Once the 4th digit has been entered, all settings get restored to their default status, and the confirmation message is shown:
WARNING: the system sets back to default configuration (see section 7.2). The PIN code will be reset to the default 0000
setting. Account records shall not be cancelled.
